Recently, I have been wading through truckloads of wedding information and was looking at marriage celebrants and it got me thinking, how does one become a marriage celebrant? So, off I go to google some marriage celebrant courses and I find that it actually seems quite doable to become one - only a short course, either classroom or online and costs from $500 or thereabouts.

I was joking around with DF about becoming one, but now I'm thinking it may actually be good fun! Only downside would be working weekends.

Anyone a marriage celebrant? Do you like it? What don't you like about it?
