yep go for just your name, its cheaper, plus. assuming your initials are actually AS, 'amy sarah stationary' is A S S...

Got it sorted - don't need to register if its under my own name - just need to apply for an ABN from the ATO.

***** Rayray I didn't realise that - ok back to the drawing Board for a business name then.

I want to have "Stationery Boutique" at the end - don't really want to use my last name though.

    Suggestions?

I am using the term "Boutique" in it's correct form meaning store - so rearranging the words doesn't really work.

    My initials are ASH.

What is the likely hood that with the proper logos and branding anyone would come to the conclusion of the business name initialls being A S S???

You're probably right, with the right branding/logo etc
    It sounds good!
