I would be inclined to dress how you would for a normal work day. Good way of checking/testing if what you will be wearing is actually what they want you to wear.

I would also go dressed like you are going to work as well. It would give a good impression and you could also ask at the same time if what you are wearing is appropriate for a normal work day.

Maybe wear practical shoes? Stylish, but practical. I find that heels sometimes make people look way overdone.

Tasha, I own one pair of black heels, but I never wear them (well, not if I can help it!), I can't make them stay on! So, I usually wear shoes with only a small heel, that look *reasonably* practical. Hmm. I think I will have to buy more shoes!, don't telll the Man I need to shop!

I have not yet told DH how much I have had to spend on clothes since starting work, I really had nothing though. So if you need to buy new shoes and some extra clothes, then so be it. Won't tell yours if you don't tell mine

I won't tell yours! I'm not sure the Man will mind quite so much, as I get all my stuff from the op shops....
