Despite all my convincing...she did nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
    ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave her all the reasons as to why but her response was she would rather just leave it and spend the time with her daughter.

I wish i could "talk" to them and tell them how wrong they were in doing this!!
Her choice I guess. Still, she shouldn't have been treated that way, it's illegal and she should be compensated.

Ask her to at least talk to someone in authority so this does not happen to someone else.
Would she like it to happen to someone else?
This way it can be investigated by the right people even if she doesn't want to make a fuss and so women will be treated fairly in the work place.

*gobsmacked* Wow, if I'd been treated that way I'd have wanted to take things further. But, I guess she obviously has her reasons for not wanting to.

Is she looking for another job?

Can you anonymously(sp?) report them to someone maybe so they at least get a swift kick up the hoo-haa and a reality shock??

I cannot believe anyone would say/do that. If it was me, i'd be going crazy and going straight to a solicitor.
I hope she has a rethink and takes them to Court, she'd be mad not too.
