LMAO hey I'm not knocking it. I have one and I LOVE IT And if it broke tomorrow I'd definitely get another one *makes mental note not to use tupperware in a hypothetical*
wow thanks people I didnt expect so many replies thanks for the valuable information. I have never attended a party myself. I am due to have my first baby on the 31st of December so I am not in a hurry to get started but was just researching for down the track when things settle down a bit. I know there is only one other consultant in my area so I guess I will see how I feel later on.
Thanks for the replies once again. Still would love to hear more opinions.
Definitely sounds like a good gap in the market! I've never been to a chocolate party.
Like any party plan thing - if the product is good, it will work. Don't jump in without tasting things, you want to have the confidence to know that you are selling something really good.
All the best with it, and with the birth of your baby!
I have been to a couple of chocoholics parties and I have hosted one. They do have some yummy stuff - I especially liked their chocolate coated pineapples and choc coated coffee beans. The party was good as they do pass around samples of selected products, and my consultant let me keep any leftovers (gotta love that!) One thing to keep in mind though is that the cost for samples is paid for by the consultant - so you have to be careful not to take too many to each party, or it will seriously eat into your profits. My consultant wanted to know numbers in advance so that she didn't over cater.
