That's alright DD - I've seen people wear some pretty strange things to job interviews so I just wanted to make sure I was making myself clear Glad we're agreed that it's a sequin free zone.
Could you compromise with DH on new, black jeans ie. jet black with not a hint of fading? I think those and a nice shirt could still look fine.
Business Casual is how I would define it.
Women - Suit bottoms or tailerd pants for women, and a shirt/blouse/top
Men - Chinos/moleskin/suit pants etc. If it absolutely has to be denim then black, and dress denim but IMO Id avoid it. Polo shirts are acceptable without slogans or obvious branding, or a casual shirt. I wouldnt wear a business shirt.
My idea of a dressy top ( as opposed to a shirt) for work is a 3/4 to long sleeved interlock/knit top - like your expect to buy at ojay/portmans/sussan (or Dorothy Perkins - not top shop though)
Pandora - you explained it well. I was thinking tailored pant and blouse for me and chinos type pants and a polo (he wears those ones from those means suit shops) or a casual shirt for DH, I am just not very good at explaining it.
I think I might need to go shopping for me at least though as I am a completely different shape to what I was before DD1. Might pick DH some new stuff as well though .
Thanks again.
