    I looked into doing family daycare here but I did the sums and I would have probably had to pay to look after other people's children. When I looked into it (3 years ago) you were paid about $2 per hour per child. I already had 3 children so i think I could only have 2 more... so it was a max of $4 an hour. Once you provide meals and pay for the extras like safety issues (gates etc) it just wasn't worth it for our family. I have 5 years experience working in childcare too.

    That job working in a museum of a weekend sounds great Fiona! Maybe for once I could put my Fine Art degree to use!!! And oh the PEACE and cleanliness and it would be air-conditioned LOL!

    There are plenty of other work from home opportunities out there, but you have to be careful to avoid scams. I found a good one that I can do any time around family commitments. Check out my website in my signature if you are interested.
