Writing key selection criteria......

I work for a large govt dept. Our limit is 500 words per criteria. If the job has a contact officer, it may pay to give them a call, to clarify. You don't want to waffle, but at the same time you don't want to omit important information that will go towards you getting a foot in the door.

I was going to suggest the STAR method too. Know what that is hun? Happy to explain if not.

I would have thought a para or two for each KSC would be heaps. Maybe give them a call and check.

Otherwise, write what feels natural, giving enough detail to clearly show each aspect of the STAR and see how you go. You want it to be detailed enough to get your point across without waffling/rambling.

Thanks all might give them a call on Monday. I had no idea what STAR was til I googled and that is what we do for teaching positions as well so should be cool! Glad I have a week to get it in!!
