Without giving you to huge a run down... in my novel I have a character (he ends up being the "Hero") who is a big celebity, and he plays his guitar and sings under an alias at quiet haunts around LA - basically to do what he enjoys unnoticed by throngs of fans.
I need to give him a name. It has to be something that sounds like it could be your typical American male movie star. He is young - only 22.
I also need an Alias for his name. I was thinking, depending on the name I choose - it could be an anagram (if it suits).
LOL - none of this probably makes sense to anyone but I'd love some feedback if you know where I am coming from!!
Spencer (although this was going to be my heroine's surname - it can be changed)
Chad
Hunter & Cruz - I like both of these but I can't see them on a 22 year old..
Some others I thought of...
Nate
Patrick
Surnames...
Marshall
Williams
Spencer
Spencer Marshall
Nate Spencer
Patrick Williams
Thats all I have!! AHH this is hard... more suggestions please!!!!!!

I have played around with a couple of names and found anagrams for the "alias". Let me know what you think (brutal honestly please!)
Nate Williams (aka Talisman Wile, Amnesia Twill)
Chad Spencer (aka Drench Space)
Nate Spencer (aka Serpent Cane)
I think I can pick a surname from what I have but I still need a first name. It can be anything from preppy american to traditional english.
Another alias I was toying with is completely irrelevant to the name (if I find a name I love that can't be made into an anagram). It's actually a name one of my friends called her son (well her husband named him) -
Jedi Maximus
Tribute to Star Wars and Gladiator - his two favourite movies . Do you think I could get away with it for my characters alias for when he performs?

It's fits the character well and the alias of Serpent Cane is pretty cool.
Thanks for all your help girls - you rock!!
Now I just need to give my main character a new surname (it was originally Spencer)... It needs to be something fairly traditional and common but not as common as Smith or Jones.
