ooh, thought i'd just add to this - have now been advised i've won an award as one of 2007's best poets AND i've been asked to submit a poem for publishing by NOBLE HOUSE! have to go through what i've got and decide which one to publish - it won't be printed til next year though, so have a month or so to decide

the book will be titled Favourite Memories (well, that is working title at the moment) and is a collection of poems by authors from all around the world.
most of my stuff is "darker" - not that bad, but born from the journey we've been going through, so i'm not really sure what to do about poem to submit - would love to have something more positive (as things are really looking up!) but the Gremlin has deprived me of brain cells lately so not sure how creative i could be...
might include a couple more in another thread and see what people think...

wow that is wonderful shame about the Baby brain but I sure you will over come it....
Now I will be able to say to my kids when your a famous poet I knew her when.... If only I had just a little telent I wouldnt have to live though other so much LOL
