    A Name for my Heroine

    Hi all,

I need a name for the lead character in my story. She is mid 20's, attractive, career driven, strong willed and focussed. She also comes from a respectable and well known family and from a upper middle class background. I need a first, middle and last name for my character. For first names I have come up with the following, but would apprecite some more ideas based on the description I have given!!

    Eva
    Kate (Catherine)
    Anna
    Sarah
    Eden

Also some ideas for some surnames would be great!! Please help!!

Yes she is from a caucasian background. Was thinking the mothers name would be Elizabeth (Beth for short). Great surname! Thanks for the ideas Kitt3n and Shellbell!

Keep them coming guys! I'm looking for a strong, simple but traditional name - nothing too out there - but something that would suit a woman in her mid 20's.

Is it set in modern day?

    Genevieve (Evie?)
    Katharine/Kate
    Clare
    Susan
    Lucinda
    Carlisle

Mmm Upper middle class sounding surnames...no idea..for some reason I'm thinking Mc or St something, or maybe hyphenated names?

    McClure
    St. Clair
    St. James
    Mander-Jones

I like the St. names the best though, they seem to go with long and short first names too.
