Terrifying!! I'm not even the least bit shy about public speaking (would be problematic, in my area of work!) but this subject matter (trafficking) is very close to my heart, and while I can talk about the subject (with or without a microphone) until the cows come home, the thought of reading a poem about it is very different. Very personal. Not just information and a call to action, ITMS.

Wow Peanutter! That is great news.

I'm trudging along- woeful daily word counts but I'm getting there. Just excited to be writing most days.

I've hit about 5000 words. Woeful! But I haven't started from scratch, I am trying to finish a novel but at about 17 and a half words all up I've got a long long way to go.

Peanutter I pinched your writing idea- I'm writing during my lunch break for my three days at work on top of my other days.

I've given up lol. Too many other priorities at the moment so have decided instead of this I will just make an effort to write something each day.

I'm at a conference this weekend, so I don't know what I'll get to when the bell tolls, but I'm tentatively hopeful ...
