Has anyone ever been along to any Writer's Week events?

I'm a touch embarrassed to say I *never* have, because it's such a big event here in Adelaide (among readers, that is). I have however been along to a few author talks and always find them fascinating.

It's Adelaide Writer's Week next week - hoping to hear Audrey Nieffenegger (totally weirded when I saw her on telly with that book made out of a fish!!!) and Sarah Waters (even tho I've only seen her stories on telly, haven't read them). I expect I will be surprised by other authors I've never considered reading. Looking forward to it.
