Rach - glad to hear that all is well with you. Well done on the package of PP clothes, i went to PP yesterday and brought Hendrix a little jumper, its very cute but very naughty of me, i cant stop buying him things!! You must be so lookin forward to the massage, have a great time you deserve it!! Also great to hear that Blakes immunisation wasnt too much of an ordeal.
Deb - im so glad that the chiro helped. Hendrix had a chiro session early on and it seemed to help, how many more sessions do you have??
Lisa - woo hoo for the relaxing drink with dinner and that Miss M slept through!! You must have felt like a different person. Mike and i are going out tonight to the movies and then for a drink!! Its the first time since Hendy's birth so im pretty excited. Hope the 2am wake up wasnt too bad!!
Bec - glad that your back and that all is well!! Jonah sounds to be doing well, i hope that he is a bit more back to his normal self after his needles.
Brooke -hope that Maya is sleeping well for you, hendrix's sleeps have gone it seems for now. Gosh your good doing the housework, our house is pretty good but it could do with a bit of a spring clean soon i think.
Well my news is as follows........ its a bit of a saga but hopefully things will get better.
As you all know hendy is a pretty calm boy and we have had no real issues with anything except my BF. So, in the last couple of weeks has really been resisting the Boob and i thought that it still had to do with my fast flow issues he goes on and off on and off and that persits throughout the feed. THis on off business has always been the case but now he screams and does not want to feed. THis has been getting progressivly worse to the point where he isnt really asking for feeds and i have to offer. So i took him to my dad (GP) and he has diagnosed him with reflux and he is now on Zantac. Now that i look at all the sympotms the poor little mite has been suffering badly and last weigh in he had only gained 120g in two weeks. Anyway the funny thing is that whilst im sure the medication will make him feel better and thats obviously what i want i also hate the fact that he has to now be on medication. Im going to have a mothercraft nurse come to the house and see what im doing and see if we can do anything else. Sorry for the me me me post guys im just a little worried.
So know i am also going to complain about his sleep, i dont know what it is but since his immunisation he hasnt slept through (which i wouldnt complain about except that he is waking so often like his newborn days. Last night he went to sleep at 9:30 then woke at 2:00 at which i gave him the dummy, then 3:00 i gave him the dummy then 4:00 mike gave him the dummy then he slept till 6:30 and i fed him. The reason i didnt feed at the other times was cause he had his eyes closed and was crying, moaning in his sleep. What do you guys do when this is the case do you respond or do you leave them and if so for how long. I find thought that if i dont go to him he will escalate but maybe im going in too early??
