Kate - i totally understand what you mean with your MIL. Its funny because im very close to my MIL, well as close as you can be living 10 hours apart, but when MIL and SIL came and stayed i found it very stressful as they were trying to get in as much time with hendy (totally understandable as they wont see him again till next Jan) but i felt incredibly overprotective. I would feel really yuckky to with Kelsey being referred to as Daddy's girl, but maybe she will calm down soon. Fingers crossed.
In response to your questions rach
i dont worry about hendy becoming too dependent on the dummy. Ive seen quite a few kids use and discard dummies in my nannying days and he doesnt use it all the time, but even if he did he would grow out of it sooner or later.
Hendrix has his last feed at around 7pm-8pm. I cluster feed before that at around 5pm.
Hendrix will sleep from 7-8pm till 4-5am or maybe 6am if we are very very lucky. During the day i try to get him to sleep 1.5 hours at least but as with you when you have things to do this isnt always possible.
Well the mothercraft nurse came today and was money well spent.....
i have to run though hendy is calling!! Will try to log on later
