Rachel it was lovely to see you on Thursday. Thought we would have missed those Huggies but we got ourselves a box. The newborn Huggies seem to fit the girls better than the Baby Love too.

Kate lol @ Kelsey sleeping through the footy. My house is really embarrassing too! We could start up a ‘how dirty is your house’ discussion, lol. Let me start by describing my kitchen floor……….actually, I’m too embarrassed. I wonder what Kelsey was talking to her little friend at mothers’ group about, very cute. Great that the osteo is helping your back, & lol about the carpark poo. Angus did one of those on Thurdsay.

Fletch, sounds like Zane’s doing great. Poor you seeing him have needles for the first time. How lovely seeing DH enjoy showing him off at work. Gardening? That sounds a bit energetic for a new mum, lol. Hope you have a lovely time at the wedding.

Gemma, great to see you at the meet too. Don’t think I’ve been hormonal, but have had some blah days lately. Feeling better now though after a couple of social days. Chocolate helps everything I reckon. When are you going back to work? And what sort of work will you be doing? Are you feeling ok about it?

Storm, hope your spring cleaning went well. No such ambitions here, lol, still struggling with just the basics. What sort of birds do you have? (Sorry if I’ve asked you before & forgotten). We have a very naughty male Eclectus parrot.

Hi Jo! Your day at the show sounds like it was pretty stressful. How’s your feeding going, getting any longer than 2 hours yet? Great that he’s doing so well. Sorry you’ve not been well.

Deb, wow Alex must be big growing out of his bassinette already. My other 3 all stayed in theirs for about 5 months. I have the twins in a cot though so they can be together.

Hayseed, how good of Pup to be sleeping through the night already, what a considerate boy! Hope you & your Mum had a lovely couple of days in Melbourne.

Hi to everyone else too!

Asha & Lauren missed being weighed this week. The MCHN turned up unannounced by mistake & I had visitors, so she’ll come back next week. Lauren’s so tiny, but I’m not worried about her any more, she’s still feeding really well. They’re going 2 to 5 hours between feeds, still nothing resembling a routine. And there’s always one period every day of about 4 hours where they just won’t settle & I seem to just feed them constantly, usually over dinner time but today it’s been in the morning. I’m feeling remarkably ok though despite the housework piling up. Having a bit of socializing the last couple of days has helped.

The twins have just settled down & I’m having some lunch sitting here in my dressing gown. Now it’ll be a toss up between having a nap, having a shower or doing some laundry before they wake up again.

Or maybe I’ll just keep sitting here in my dressing gown……
