Oh no Ambah! I think it might be a great idea to take some photos for backyard blitz or something...

Had a sleep & a bath and still feeling rather dull.... DH is on his way home so when I get Matilda home he will be here, I love that man....

So still going to puppy preschool tonight because I realised its more effort to cancel than to go and since I could run this particular class in my sleep I should be allright Most of the people there are parents which helps because a lot of what I talk about tonight is exactly what its like with children according to the triple P thing I went to on the weekend....LOL

OK off for some herbal tea before I pick up Ms Moo...

oh no Kelly!! I hope the infection clears soon!!

Kat I hope something gets sorted out soon, its so frustrating when you are helping out and get stuck with a bully. Grrrr....

Poor Ambah & your turkey mound...Christmas turkey is sounding really good....

LOL at the kids & animals...I had our dog in at work with Matilda at one point & they were chasing eachother up & down the halls causing a ruckus a few days ago...

I didn't wind up going to puppy preschool last night I called & cancelled with everyone, or I should say DH did because I was so achey it hurt my muscles to breath & he was pretty firm.... no going anywhere but to bed.

So today he's taking Matilda & I to playgroup so I can hand over the information to the other leader & he can take care of Matilda... I think he's taking too much time off work, but he doesn't care.... I think I feel a swoon coming on LOL....

    Hello ladies

Michelle ~ The Doc sent Gabrielle to get an ultrasound to check out the lump and all is well. She just as a haematoma (sp!?) that will gradually go down over the weeks and months. How's Jessica? Did she come down with that cold?

Kelly ~ poor Asha! I hope the infection clears up really quickly. Hospital stays are not fun for anyone!

Kathryn ~ Yes we could tell that you've been to playgroup.... must have been the smoke pouring out from the ears of your avator! Hope the gentleman either revises his son's behaviour or reconsiders coming to the playgroup (it's a shame, because he probably really needs the extra socialisation that a playgroup brings). Thought of you this week when we saw Mercury and Venus shining brightly in the sky.

Ambah ~ photos, photos, we're all waiting

Christy ~ I think you need a couple of days in bed being spoilt rotten, and it sounds like your DH is just the person for the job.

Uh -oh gotta go.... offspring are brawling in the lounge room. Big hi to everyone else I didn't get to....

Back again.... no blood spilt so all's well.

    Just to finish off...

Kellee~ hope your tour is going well and you're not missing your bub too much

Kellie~ Paige sounds like a classic. My son Zeke is 2 and loves announcing all manner of inappropriate things to the world. Yesterday while shopping for groceries he told the old lady in the checkout cue behind us: "Daddy did a big stinky poo this morning in the toilet. I did a poo on the grass".

    Gotta fly

Rofl @ pooing on the Grass Misty. That was what I was posting about Kameron not that long ago As for Venus and the moon, Andrew has been out taking photos. He tried to print one off on the home computer after I cracked at him for wasting all the black in the photo cartridge. If he ended up getting a decent print out the guy that wanted a pic better bloody pay for it !!!

Andrew isnt going out this Saturday now due to the horrid weather we are getting in on Saturday. YAY. He has also agreed to coming with me to the 3yr old birthday party we have to go to on Sunday Arvo. Double YAY. Although he has probably forgotten that I have to go to a 2yr old party before that one too LMAO. Although we will only be at that one for an hour, and it is my best friends son.

Christy - I hope you are feeling a bit better this morning. I think I might borrow Pete when I am sick LMAO.

Kelly - I hope poor little Asha is out of hospital soon. Seems like you guys can't take a trick at the moment either.

Kellie - Rofl @ Paige. I could picture her saying that too. Cheeky little bugger

Ambah - I agree with Christy. Christmas Turkey is sounding more and more tempting LMAO. How long do they usually hang around for ?

Anyway should go and get the double trouble dressed and get the day started. No playgroup today

    Love

I don't really have time for personals so I will jsut do this post and then come back tomorrow or on the weekend for personals as I need to spend some time with the big kids.

Well as my earlier post said we are home and Asha is already in bed fast asleep!!!

She woke up yesterday morning with her right eye swollen shut and looking very red so I got dressed and quickly sorted lunch orders for the kids, rang work and told them I wouldn't be in until 11.30 etc then took Asha off to the hospital to have it looked at. Got to emergency and there was hardly anyone there! so we got seen by the nurses straight away and had to wait until the Doctors tute had finished before we could see a doctor. Anyway I was thinking I would bve told it was conjunjctivitis and be given a script and sent home ... oops I was wrong. We saw more doctors than I could count LOL ... and was told that the infection Asha had was no simply going to go away with oral antibiotics so she was going to be admitted for 48hrs and have IV antibiotics then a long course of oral antibiotics to get rid of it. So she had her IV inserted ... after several mad phone calls and sms to organise Ryan and the kids) ... she had the first lot of antibiotics pushed through and then the rest via a drip in her room. We saw a gazillion student doctors and there were nursing students all around too (that time of year I guess). Saw the pediatritian last night and he said that it was good I brought her in so quickly as most parents think it will go away on its own and by the time they realise it won't the kids are usually in hospital for a week. Saw him this morning and he was really pleased with Asha's progress so we were allowed to come home after she had her 11am dose of antibiotics, on the promise that if it were to change at all and get worse in anyway we were to come back to the hospital immediately! I won't be messing around if it does get worse but I am hoping the worst of it is over and now we just have to deal with taking the medicine!

Okay better go ... dinner for the other two ... hmmm thinking maybe takeaway again!!!

    Cheers

Another really quick one from me...

Kelly - I'm so glad to hear that Asha is ok and feeling better now...

Christy - I hope you feel better really soon too sweetie!

Argh, I know I've been a slackbum and havent gotten the turkey photos up yet... soon, I promise, just cant seem to keep up with things atm

Poor Aidyn has had a high temp all day today, and has been acting a little off colour, so I will be calling the Dr first thing in the morning if he doesnt get better through the night.... I have no idea what could be wrong with him, cause he doesnt seem to have any other symptoms except a slightly runny nose...

Off to bed now, need to get some rest in now, cause I know that I will be up and down throughout the night looking after Aidyn.

    Hi girls

Well yesterday jessica had a rash all over her front and back, rang drs, no answer, rang hospital, they suggestd it's prob just viral, no one to look anyway, They suggested the chemist. the pharmacist suggested it looked like measles/german measles, which has exclusion of 7 to 10 days after rash appears. Great since the party is on Sunday. so rang my own Drs and they also tried to fob me off, they gave me an appt for today but dr was running 2 hrs behind so didn't make the appt, I have another appt tomorrow arvo, but it looks like the rash is almost gone so it prob was just a viral thing, she has a runny nose and a slight couhg, but she is also getting gooey eye. AARGH! Why this week!

Ambah-all I can say is AARGH! Wish it would leave and give you your yard back! What is the time period?

Christine- (much easier to spell than mystifying) so glad Gabrielle is ok and LOl at the kids comments.

Kellie- Paige does sound cheeky lol but that's such a usual thing for this age.

Kellee- hope things are going well for you.

Pee- Happy Birthday to Ryley! Hope you have a great day!

Kathryn- hope something improves with the dad and the kid. And bugger at the printing thing. I have no ink atm so no printing anything here.

Christy- hope you feel better soon, just your luck to catch it now!

I weighed Jessica yesterday and she was 8.74 kgs up 190gms and 72.5cms up 1.5cms from her last weigh in at 11 mths, so she is still little but well proportioned. HCN mentioned the black circles under her eyes and suggested I keep an eye on that could be anemia, so now I am paranoid. I think it's part of the gooey eyes cos it only appeared Weds and now her eyes are gooey. I hope it's nothing more serious.

Was wondering if Kimberly or Paige are into imaginative play. Jemma is doing this lately, she had an imaginary bag with imaginary things inside an d gave me an imaginary pillow and blanket. She lso plays with her dolls house and role plays diff characters. i was wondering if this is something she has picked up from Jordan or if others her age are doing it too.

Anyway party food shopping tomorrow, plus looking for cake decorations and an outfit for Jess to wear at her party. hopefully she will nt have a rummy nose and weepy eyes by Sunday!

Sorry for missing amyone Hope you are all well
    Cheers michelle

    Morning Girls

Christy - Yep it is our anniversary today, but it may as well not be since nothing is planned for it. Andrew was going on and on about it on earlier in the week asking what i wanted etc as the traditional thing was wood and the modern silver. Then last night out shopping I said "hang on just going in here to get an anniversary card for you" and he turns around and says to me "don't do that cause then I have to go and get you one or you will be ****ed off I didn't" ](*,)

We then saw friends at the shops as we were walking out and she mentioned it being our anniversary and said "i will take the boys for you if you want to out for dinner or anything" and Andrew says "oh we can't afford it"

So looks like I am in for a real good day....... NOT :-({|=

Maybe when he said about the Wood/Silver thing I should have asked for a trophy for putting up with him

Kelly - glad to hear Asha is now on the mend. Did they actually say what it was or how it could have happened or is it just one of those things ?

Ambah - I hope Aiydn is feeling better this morning for you.

Michelle - Urgh at the run around you are getting with your doctors, urgh at the 2hr wait as well. Our family doctor runs behind like that too

Well it has gone 8.30am I should think aobut organising myself for playgroup.

    Love

oh Kat!!! You deserve to be spoiled!!

Well...having a very bad mother moment, just have no idea what to do. Matilda's sick again and today's pretty bad, last night she was up 4-5 times and today she's been tired & moody & we've been dosing her up with panadol because she has a temp. We have an appt at the Dr in 2 hours, but at 11 she was so tired & refused to eat so I put her to bed, then 20 minutes later she woke up screaming. She hasn't stopped. I've tried taking her into my bed but she screamed through that and vomitted all of DH's pillow 8-[ , so I put her back in her cot where she slept for 5 minutes and then up screaming again and now its screaming & then 2 minutes of chatting and then screaming again.... I've had a good cry on the bed with her because she screams worse if she swallows so I know she's in pain, but I've given her all the panadol I can and I don't want to dose her up right before we get to the DR so nothing will be wrong when we get there ykwim? ... needless to say I'm also coughing heaps today so everytime she falls asleep I'm coughing and it often wakes her up to start her screaming again ](*,)

PLEASE let my little girl get some sleep!!! [-o<
