Hi everyone, I hope you're all well.
I was so annoyed that Freddy and Kenrda won The Amazing Race. For some reason I can't quite put my finger on Freddy just disgusted me (did you see him freak when he got a little bump on his head?) and Kenra was grotty (she ditched her backback about 3 or 4 episodes from the end and from then on she was always wearing the same cloths - they must have stunk :feelsick: - I can only hope that at least she had some clean underwear in Freddy's bag). I wanted Adam and Rebecca to win. They cracked me up, Adam was such a wuss and Rebecca was so strong.
Yasin had his first swimming lesson today. DH went in the water with him, it was so cute. He started to get the hang of it really fast and by the end of the lesson he was already kicking his little legs and trying to chase his toy fish around. He looked so suprised when he got dunked under the water. They blow on thier faces first so they don't breath in and then *dunk*. There were only 3 bubs in each class which is nice because it means that they get alot of individual attention. Next week its my turn to go in. I can't wait. He went straight to sleep when we got home so I'm going to try to find some more physical activities for him so that he sleeps better.
DH was meant to have the day off but he's just gone off to work instead until 6 or 9 tonight.
Michelle, I hope Jay enjoys his party. I can't wait until Yasin has parties. I'll probably get over it pretty quickly once he's had a few. Mind you I'll probably have to plan them months in advance to stop MIL from trying to hijack them.
woohoo for Lani on getting out of reverse. lol at Jay making sure she's safe. He sounds like such a helpful little boy.
Michelle, I think that I'll be really sad when Yasin goes to his own room. DH suggested it the other night because he suddenly got it into his head that "all the other babies sleep though" and maybe Yasin would too if he was in his own room. I doubt that it would make any differance, I'd just have further to travel when he wakes up. He only wakes up twice at night now and sometimes only once so its not like too much hassle.
Kellee, It sounds like you had a great holiday. I hear you on the picking up bad habits on holidays thing. We're still trying to sort out the sleep thing after going to Melbourne nearly 2 months ago.
Lara, The mugs sound really cute, I'm sure that the Dad's will be envious.
