Sacha, lol @ being back in the saddle. Love how we are so "romantic" about it now huh. It's funny how we pick what we'd like our bubs to get from each parent lol. I'm jealous about you maybe moving too!!

Anna, your little man is definitely gorgeous. So glad he's ok. I always take temp rises seriously in little ones cos they can go up quite quickly with little bodies.

Well I had that lovely tummy bug Tuesday night. If it wasn't bad enough having both ends going (TMI) Andy was away in Townsville!! One good thing was it was 9pm when it hit and both the little ones were in bed so didn't get exposed at the time! I'm not sure when/how it's spread but they've been ok. Man I was sick though. Lukily Elijah sleeps til around 5/5:30am so I got to just be sick.

Anna, I hope DS doesn't scare you like that after all his vaccinations! At least next time you will have the panadol on hand if he starts to get a temp. Byron didn't react to any except his 12 month ones, but it was scary enough then. It must be very scary in a tiny baby!

Sacha, it is very exciting that you are moving. I hate the packing and actual move, but it would be great to have a new house.
I think I got my period a couple of weeks ago. It was really light though. I am hoping that it was a one off... I didn't get it for over 13 months last time, I will be ****ed off if I have it while breastfeeding this time. :lol: Fingers crossed that you aren't up the duff again already.

Cass, you poor thing. I hate vomiting! And the runs aren't too flash either. :lol: Lucky it only lasted the night. Even luckier that the boys didn't get it. Thank god for small mercies.

Yesterday was our 4th wedding anniversary. Didn't go out or anything, just too hard now. :( MIL is coming tomorrow though, staying until Wednesday, so maybe we can manage a bit of time to ourselves while she is here.
Had my final check up with the ob. He wanted to make sure he had gotten rid of the granulomas. My vagina finally has the all clear. :p
Edward is still being lovely. He moved into the cot on the weekend. He keeps wriggling his way up the cot and out from under his blankets so the last couple of nights he woke a little earlier as he was cold. Tonight we have him in a wondersuit and a sleeping bag, plus have an anti roll cushion, so hopefully he will last till 6 again.

Hello everyone.
We are still alive here just been super busy.
We had our vaccinations last Thursday and Oliver was such a champ. Luckily we had no reactions, just a little sore so i gave some panadol just in case. We arent into a routine yet i just try and take it as it comes. Now that I'm putting Oliver on the bottle I'm hoping we fall into one pretty quickly.
Im having a day off today hehe and having some well overdue me time. Im leaving the little one for the first time in 2 months. I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time. And im going out ALL day.
I think Ive got my period. Very light and sporadic though. With lots of cramping so im not sure but cant think of any other reason why this would be happening. We dtd last week too and it hurt like a mother at the start. Then halfway in was all good. ;) haha. I instantly thought i was pregnant even though im on the mini pill and we used protection haha. Totally paranoid.

ozzie - so sorry to hear you were sick. v lucky kiddies didn't get sick too. v unpleasant though. haha to personality. Lachlan looks RIDICULOUSLY like DP, it's seroiusly like looking after a mini him all day. So hoping that he gets more of my personality (the good bits anyway) - he's born 2 days before me so we'll see if he's a stubborn taurus ... he has chucked a few 'tanties' when frustrated and i look at him like 'omg thats ME' haha. not sure if babies can chuck tanties but that's what it looks like.

berrme - CONGRATS on 4th wedding anniv. hopefully you'll get to make up for it soon and go somewhere nice. i've been dropping hints to DP that i'd like to get hitched (i was hitched prev but he killed himself so i went off idea for YEARS - but now i've met my soulmate i'd like a ring puhlease).... when i was preg DP said that he'll take me to our fave 5 star r-raunt and propose after bubba is born.... erm .... HE'S BORN. LOL. how cute edward in cot already. i can't think that far ahead.... is so convenient having him in basinette beside me. it looks cold and big in his room :( i think i need to get over that quick smart though!

Mama2two - :clap: to DTD. yeah not pleasant at start but you get back into it. i had a few wines to help me when we did so i wouldn't be fixated on it hurting - have heard the fear of pain is more than the actual pain. all good now :) haha to thinking you're preg already - my dr said not to start pill til i get a period. :( oh LUCKY you to having a day off! who are you leaving them with?

Have some excellent news; LACHLAN laughed for first time y-day. it was sooo cute. i laughed at him when he did it and then almost cried i was so overwhelmed with emotion. he looked shocked at the 'noise' he'd made and hasn't done it again :( poor DP was a bit upset he wasn't there for the first but he's just been promoted and working so many hours. is great financially and for his resume but so isolating for me. :(

Melanie, absolutely thankful for small mercies. I can handle them with colds and the likes but I hate seeing bubba's (this includes Oskar cos he's still only 2 and they don't understand) spewy and pooey, it is so sad and they get so scared. Oskar actually did throw up on Sunday morning about 5am so I don't know if he had a touch of it before me or not. He didn't vomit again and he didn't have the runs, but he was pushing on his tummy a bit and said to me "Oskar no sore tummy" which when you translate with him you usually take the no out - like he'll say "Oskar no poos in there" when he's done one. So, I can't be certain if it was something or not. I erred on the side of caution and gave him no dairy for 24 hours though.

Sacha, take that man of yours aside and say listen up buddy... HE IS BORN...uh huh...lol. I hope you get the ring soon! Oh I love that baby laugh, it's just gorgeous! We have a real little chatterbox here, he really gets going at times. I think he's done a half laugh a couple of times, but we haven't taken that as it yet. Oooooh I can't wait for it though :)

YAY Amanda... how was your day out?

We measured Elijah today and we think he's about 60/61cm long now... wow like 10cm in 10 weeks, that's INSANE! He is wearing 00's....not sure if I've mentioned that before. I've actually had to buy clothes for him even though Oskar was born in March so I should be able to use the clothes but NO he was still fitting some 0000 at 10 wks but mostly 000 which Elijah has pretty much outgrown. Lol kinda funny in some ways. At least as it warms up in a couple of months the clothes that Oskar wore will fit Elijah cos they're mainly t-shirts and shorts so not jumpsuits so much. He's such a smiley little man, I just love him to bits. Oskar hasn't been too bad overall, still likes to try to lay on him to cuddle him or kneel on him...they just don't get "gentle" at 2 yrs old! I've told him to watch out cos Elijah will be big enough to get him back soon enough!

Recently, my husband to be just returned back to work after a massive surgery and I am looking to join a mothers group in my local area. I googled Mothers Group Rouse Hill and this forum came up.. Well today we had lachlans first injections. BOTH mil and my mum came along for support (of me - not lachlan). anyway the Dr looked way impressed that we had an entourage (NOT) and as I was a bit queasy he kicked me out of the room! :( i heard him scream twice and cry from them. omg I almost threw up with hearing him cry. i'm such a bloomin sook!

Both of the 'grandies' wanted to come and when i told them the other one was coming they were like 'well, i guess you don't need me then huh' :rolleyes: the reason i invited BOTH is cos they offered and wanna be there for him/ me and i don't want them to get their noses out of joint (MIL wasn't ALLOWED to be involved with my partners older kids as his ex is MEAN .... *starts with a B*) so i want them to both be. eaugh it's a fine line sometimes!

apart from that we've been going GREAT guns. lachlan slept the last two nights from 12am - 7.30am then last night from 12am til 6.30am. hoping :pray: that the needles don't get a bad reactoin and stop that cos mumma loves her sleep LOL.

Sacha :hug: to you. I hate doing the needles too. They only cry cos the actual jab part hurts same as it does when the needle breaks our skin. Great sleeping too!!

Thanks for your advice. I was lucky enough to have met a lovely lady from bb of whom i met up with only recently. She lives in my local area and we plan to meet again soon.

Kurtis is doing fantastically. He has had both of his injections and cried for a while. It did irregulate his sleeping patterns though, but just recently has started to return to the normal.. normal being 8pm till 3:30am.. if thats normal.. lol. That was about two weeks ago.. so i wish you all the best. :pray:

nothing much to report here; Lachlan is sleeping like a CHAMP. consistently has his last feed at 11.30pm-12am then down til 7.730am. it's paradise :)

any tips for eczema? he has it quite bad all over. not weepy or anything just more dry and scaly. have been putting sorbolene cream on it several times a day - with glycerine in it. but not doing a heck of a lot to clear it.

uh oh. mr mr is up from his nap... better run.

Sacha, that is great that Lachlan is sleeping so well, I hope he keeps it up for you!
If his eczema is bad you may need to get some cortisone cream from the chemist just to get it under control. I had to use it on Byron for about a week when he was about 3 months old and haven't used it since. I also used egoderm cream that you just get off the shelf at the chemist, might be worth trying that first. It is a bit smelly but nicer for babies skin than cortisone. Now I just cover him in moisturiser at the first signs of scaly skin or dry weather and it keeps it under control, but I don't think his skin is as sensitive anymore either.
LOL at not putting out either set of grandparents. We are like that everytime we go up to Cairns... make sure we spend equal amounts of time at each parent's home, don't want anyone to feel left out. :lol: It is nice that you are including MIL though, especially if sher missed out on quality time with the other boys.
Good luck with convincing DP to become DH. :D Men just don't seem to understand how important it is to us sometimes. :wall:

Amanda, how did your day out go? I managed to fit in a coule while MIL was staying, it was great!
I am way to forgetful to even attempt the mini pill. :lol: I wish I wasn't, I really miss the pill! Gee it is a great invention.

Cass, the growing does slow down. Byron grew just as fast as Edward and Elijah are. Got to size 0 by about 4 months, size 1 at 6 months. Once he hit size 1 we were ok, managed to get about a year out of that stuff.

Well I have been pretty busy. DH's parents are considering moving down to Brisbane so I drove MIL around caboolture and redcliffe to check out possible areas to live. I also spent some time by myself for once, I certainly made the most of the babysitter. :lol:
I have also started going to a group exercise class twice a week. It is at the home of a personal trainer who now has kids so started classes for other mums. Everyone there has at least 1 kid and all the kids just run around and play while we all do our workout. It is really good not being the only one trying to get rid of pregnancy weight gain!

Edward and I are both pretty hungry so better go, have a great weekend.

Sacha, great sleeping from Lachlan!! I haven't tried this myself but apparently moogoo is great. Go to the kids medical conditions thread and check there. I know quite a few BB girls use it and swear by it.

Well we have had a bit of a crazy week here!

Last friday Spence started on Losec for his Silent Reflux, we found out you have to get it from a compounding chemist (which r few and far between) so we had a 2hr round trip in the rain in peak hr traffic (Spence had just had his 8wk needles too!) On Monday Spence had his first day (since he was days old) where he managed to sleep between each feed before that he had many times where he would stay awake for the entire time between feeds!

On Thursday he went into his room and about a min later started crying, I went in an he was sitting on the ground picked him up and the next second his mouth starts pouring out blood. Blood slowed after a while and I had a look and it looked litle it was coming from the skin between your 2front teeth, he started dozing off so I let him go to sleep, it was 50mins off sleep time and he had a crap night before and I was confident he hadn't hit his head. 1hr later he was crying again,tiny bit more blood and then went back to sleep 30mins later crying again so I got hi up and tried to give him some nurofen and saw his tongue, at the front of his mouth on the side of his tongue he had ripped about 1cm into the centre of his tongue, the whole way through his tongue! called 13health and went to redlands emergency 2 drs saw him there and though even though very rare 2 do it might need stitching. Called the Ear, nose and throat pediatrician at the mater who wanted to see him. went there, he had already gone home but saw 2 other drs and a consultant and so just leaving it to heal. Apparently stiching it would actually be an operation and they couldnt even do it at the mater, he would have had to have a GA and his tonguepulled out and something put in to support his airway.

He is doing ok but the poor boy hardly ate any cereal for breakfast then had 3 arrowroot biscuits and a tiny bit of water at 10.30 and wasn;t allowed to eat and drink until 7.30!! In the waiting room he was at the vending machines just begging for some water or something to eat! and he has a cold and we have sore throats and he probably does too so that would have made it worse :( So now he is on pureed food for a few days, he had a sundae for dinner last night lol dr said icecream! we're just keeping an eye on it. Worse part of being a parent, I have a son who is healthy enough to have never had AB's but 3times has been profusely bleeding from the mouth!!

Also on Thurs my mum found out she has very early stage of cancer in her uterus (apparently the dr said its not a bad diagnosis but not good) apparently they r cells than turn into camcer so she has to have a operation in the next three months to have a look and possible a hysterectomy and possibly remove more.

Then last night Phil and Noah had a bad gastro bug!!!!!

mustangsachy: congrats on the purchase! How exciting! No period here yet, but not DTD either ... should get on to that soon! :D Also, we LOVE Infant's Friend - it has been such a lifesaver for us!

DS has his first set of immunisations the other day. He vomited everywhere after the oral one. I didn't have my nappy bag with me (I just had DS and my car keys) so when he spewed it went everywhere and I had nothing to clean it up with (I though it would be a quick in and out job and didn't expect spewing to occur). The lady who was giving him his needles looked at me like I was the worst mother in the world when I said that his nappy bag was in the car. She actually said 'Well, I don't have anything. Why didn't you bring anything in to clean him up with?'. Well, I thought, I didn't know he would spew everywhere, did I, you silly old bag. At this point, I was wishing he had spewed on her as well as all over me. Anyway - things you learn. We will be better prepared next time.

The immunisation saga doesn't finish there though. DS was fine for the rest of the day (we even met up with jitterbug and saw a movie!), however around 5pm, he started getting really cranky and squealing (very unusual for him) and his temp went was higher than usual (37.4) and he felt hot. I first called my MIL who said some baby panadol might help. I called DH to pick up some on the way home. DS's temp went up again so I called 13HEALTH who suggested going to see a GP (at 6pm at night, in the middle of Brisbane - luckily there are 2 surgeries that are open til 7pm), so I called the GPs to see if they had any appointments. The first one said that there were no doctors present and the second one said to quickly take DS to the emergency room. Well, panic and crying set it. Called DH to hurry home (luckily he was only a couple of blocks away) and we went to the Children's Emergency at the Mater. The staff there were fantastic. After hours there, they figured that the temp was most likely from the immunisations. DS's temp has started to go down so we were sent home. We went back the next day for a follow up check up and the dr was happy with DS. Having never done any of this before, it has been an exhausting couple of days, but we are glad that DS is all a-ok!

Anna, I am sorry that you had a saga with your immunisations. My brother nearly died after having his first needles and the hospital where he had it wouldn't offer any help or even admit they administered the injection. After that my mum got busy researching and discovered what is actually in the needles and since then none of us have had any immunisations, neither have either of my little girls.

Please don't think I am trying to advise you against it, just wanted to let you know there is a choice despite what the docs say and all of us have stayed healthy despite not having the immunisations.

Hi, I'm Em and I am currently a SAHM (on maternity leave from my job) also studying and running a small business.

I have only just got my DH back permanently (he has been away on and off since DD2 was born then surprised me by coming back).

Haven't got my period yet but am thinking I should have. DD2 has been sleeping between 6 and 9 hours each night since a bit over a week old (one or two nights execpted) so not really sure whats going on there.


:)Jacks Mummy: I used a lambs wool for both DD's and they have no flat spots. Also used a tetra mattress whilst in cradle.


Anna: What is Infants Friend?:redface: Sorry that you had such a horrible experience with immunisations. Can't see why the lady wouldn't have paper towel or something!!

Are you breast or formula feeding? I didn't get my period back for over a year with DS1, not until I completely stopped BFing. This time I had some light bleeding at about 8 weeks, which I am hoping was a one off. :pray: I guess I will find out soon enough.

Jas, I just reread my last post... I didn't mean it to sound like I though Noah had been doing something stupid, just that Byron does stupid stuff and I am amazed he hasn't hurt himself badly. :D Hope the tummy bug has run its course and you are all feeling a bit better.

Hi Melanie...thanks am definately trying to, its a bit hard to get used to though.
I am breast feeding most of the time, was using formula a few times a day until she was nearly a month old due to very sore breasts but only use it a couple of times a week now. Am needing to start giving her bottles again (expressed and formula) today so she will be ok to be looked after by my mum in a few weeks while I do prac.

I got period back after 4 months with DD1 and got pregnant a month or so later (MC). Love not having period although am a bit worried atm that I haven't got it yet.

hi all again! OMG organicem - your mum is preg! wow. were they trying? i would find that odd my mum having a baby after i had one - not making judgement, just saying i'd find it strange my brother or sister would be younger than their nephew! LOL

I got my period back over weekend. was soooo happy. :) when i don't have it I freak i'm UTD. so back to pill for me.

lachlan is sick atm. with a cold - and he's given it to me as well (what a lovely sharer) LOL. he slept crap y-day and was v hard to put down last night which is odd as usually by 8pm you can put him down definately. so had to have him in bed with me last night. and today he's cranky and won't sleep so into HAB and sleeping while i carry him around which is fine as long as he gets some sleep as i think that he sleeps better at night if he sleeps ok during day also.

organicem - infants friend is an otc ummm syrup stuff in a bottle. helps babies with colic and wind. i use it with lachlan .... brauer make a natural one which is good too for colic.

organicem - i just read your thread about what happened with you and DH. Don't let him walk all over you - you're worth way more (and your girls too) than that. I was married years and years ago - to a man 17 years my senior who was an alcoholic and a gambler. he manipulated me so well that if he didn't come home for 3 days after being out - and i questioned him - he was able to make ME apologise for questioning him. eventually after him spending $70K of my money from the sale of a property I walked out- (id' done so many many times previously but this time was forever).... he FREAKED out and started to threaten to kill himself ... so my friends and i would go 'save' him but it would always be an attention seeking thing (history note: my dad killed himself when i was 14).. he said my dad visited him at night to tell him to do it (AS IF).

anyway christmas eve he phoned and i said 'go ahead' ... thinking it was another thing and he did it for real.

anyway - what i'm trying to say is don't let ppl manipulate you or rule how a relationship runs - there are 4 ppl in your famly and so 4 ppls needs need to be met - it sounds like only one of them is being met atm. you've done nothing wrong and you deserve to get respect and support. if not - he needs to leave forever cos it sounds like you're supporting his a$$ even though you're a SAHM. Am not meaning to rant AT you - just give you support. :hug:

Was def not planned but they are very excited now. I guess it is a little odd but will be great for DD2 to have someone close to her age to play with at Christmas etc.

Sacha (is that your name?): WooHoo on getting period, I know how you feel. I like the convienece of not getting it but freak out when I don't...actualy get excited is more like it!! ;) I don't take the pill though, don't like what it can do to my body.

Have found Brauer to be good with lots of things. DD2 doesn't get wind too often, she also sleeps on her stomach which helps.

Sorry that you had such a horrible experience with your ex. Don't worry I didn't think you were ranting. I do let myself be manipulated in many relationships. Am trying to be stronger. I used to be scared of being alone because looking after my girls would b e hard. Now I know I can do it if I need to.:dance:

Wow its been busy in here i can't keep up.
Well i've been down in the dumps lately with it all. Just felt a little overwhelmed at home with both the kids. I had to go back to work with Samuel when he was still little so i guess im not use to being alone at home all the time. I even had crazy thoughts of going back pt already.. Nope that's not gonna happen this time. I regretted going back so much with Samuel. But i am craving the social atmosphere and missing my workmates terribly. My day out was sooo good, went for breaky at the coffee club with my sister then did some retail therapy hehe. dh and i discussed it and now every Saturday is my day :dance: although i find myself coming home at lunch cause i miss my babies. And i've joined the gym and finally going to get my pre babies body back and joined up with some lovely bb ladies in a support thread ;)
Ollie is only having one bfeed a day now :cry: I'm a little upset but what can you do. I love feeding him but couldnt get my supply back in my left boob no matter what i did from the whole mastitis episode.. I tried for 8 weeks feeding him first that side, pumping you name it. My nipple has also gone weird so i think that played a part in it. Oliver has a cold and little cough so he is very clingy atm and only want to bfeed so im so annoyed that i cant give it to him when ever he wants. I wonder sometimes if i made the right decision putting him on the bottle. damn mastitis.

I have and older sis 24 and younger one whos 20 then my mum had my brother whos now 9 and my sis is 6 to the same father so i found it weird. I did find it hard though because my mum isnt very nanaish so i sometimes feel my kids miss out on that grandparent relationship because she has little ones of her own.

I know what you mean. Currently I have 5 siblings ranging from 21 to 6 so there is a 4 year gap between my little brother and my DD1 and there will be 5 months between DD2 and the new arrival.

Gee, I can't think of anything worse than dragging my childbearing out over so many years. :lol: They are some keen mums that you girls have!!


Amanda, I am sorry to hear that you are feeling down. I hope the gym and weekly trips out by yourself make a difference!
It is also sad that BFing hasn't worked out for you. I didn't realise how lucky I have been with BFing until I started reading all the stories here on BB. Try not to beat yourself up about it.
I bought a AIO nappy at the baby expo the other week to see if it will last overnight and still haven't gotten to try it as it keeps raining when I want to dry it. It is a shame they don't prewash them for you. ;) I have also ordered some hemp and microfibre to make boosters to stick in my flats. We will see how keen I am feeling after that... I might attempt to make some fitted nappies myself.

Gosh, I haven't been gone long and heaps has been happening.

Sacha - Sounds like Lachlan has definately improved his sleeping - fabulous news. Bummer about the cold though. Hope it doesn't stick around for long. You've had a rough trott in the past - sorry to hear.

Organicem - wow you poor thing. Look after yourself at this time. your DH needs to sort his issues out and realise that you are in a vulnerable position atm. omg about your mum being pregnant!!!!

Amanda - dont feel guilty about the bf. you gave Ollie a great start.

Jas - you poor thing. I hope the Losec works with Spencer. Wasnt the zantac doing the job? we have DS on zantac now and things are looking so much brighter than a couple of weeks ago. Fingers crossed fot your mum that things start looking up and hoping that noahs tongue is on the mend - ouch.

well things her have been a little mundane and each day seemed to flow into the next. i even got to the stage i couldnt remember when i fed last (it was ever 2 to 2.5 hours). Friends with young kids started commenting on how much he cried !!! some support !!! but on zantac now for silent reflux and the past 4 days have been good. less crying, more smiles, chatting, better sleeping and reducing the dummy use (it was the only thing which kept me semi sane over the last 4 weeks!)

dh is getting more involved with ds now and i'm feeling human again. heading off to the gym to check it out. the walks just arent cutting it. i lost the weight really quickly but have a little pot belly i'm not so happy about.

to all of you guys using cloth nappies i applaud you. man, i'm having enough trouble keeping up with the normal washing!

So great that your DH is helping out more. Am a little jealous of you getting to gym. Hope that you keep motivated!! I have a belly too and wish I could get rid of it.

I have trouble keeping up with normal washing too, so you are not alone. I am definately not cut out to be a housewife.

I find that DD motivates me more than anything else atm. For example I try to get out of the house each day and if I didnt DD would send me batty. If it's fine we walk to the shops/park/friends places and she keeps me on the move.

on the housewife front - yeah Id totally agree that im not a spectacular housewife. I hate cleaning and only do the super necesary things each week and go on a cleaning spree about once a month when I get sick of things - i figure that my kids get more of my time that way and they arent going to remember if the floor wasn't vacuumed regularly when they are older. excuse the spelling - one handed

Gee I love hearing about other people who are crap at housework. Washing and cooking are about the only things I do regularly. :lol: Who wants to be the perfect housewife anyway? That would be boring! :p

Nell, I am with you on DS being motivation to get out of the house. It rained yesterday so we were inside most of the day and he drove me insane. :wall: It is so much easier to cope with toddlers outside!

Edward has been a bit grizzly the past couple of day. He has been farting like you wouldn't believe, so I am assuming he has had a tummy ache. I don't think I have eaten anything unusual so I don't know why, but I hope it doesn't last long. Maybe it is just another growth spurt... he is 12 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe how fast the time has gone.

Maybe I should take DD out to the park more often. I find sheis difficult to control at the shops which is where I usually go especially in the wet weather we have been getting.

Have been stressing a bit about getting DD2 onto bottle for day time feeds for when I go on prac. She used to take a bottle but hasn't been so keen on it the lasr few weeks.

Lol I'm the same with housework. Necessities then big clean when I gett cranky about it. I figure as long as it's not dirty it's ok.

I try to get out every day. Even if it's just the local Woolies for bread - oh and a Gloria Jean's coffee lol. Lucky for me there's one 2 km away!

Mel I reckon Elijah's just had growth spurt, was feeding about every 2 hrs last wk. 12 wks today!! OMG I can't believe that! My gorgeous little man. He's such a good little guy, smiles lots and puts up with Oskar laying on him, squashing him, tapping his little head...lol. One day he's gonna get his own back though I'm sure of it!

LOL Cass, Edward is just the same... I can't believe he isn't screaming with some of the 'love' that is showered on him by Byron. My theory is that he heard all the noise his brother made through my belly and just decided to keep his head down once he came out.:D

Em, I have found that if I go to the shopping centre around midday then Byron goes to sleep and in the pram and it is much easier. I used to wait until he had his nap so he was less grumpy, but the shops just seem to bring out the worst in kids. :doh: Of course if I have to do groceries he needs to be awake so he can go in the trolley. I hate doing the groceries. :rolleyes:

DD1 is always found looking at drink bottles, chocolate or toys. This would be fine if i didn't have to try and drag her to all the other sections. She won't stay in trolley for very long either. Have decided to do groceries on her day care day and when I go back to work I am going to order online and get fresh fruit and veg from a shop with no lollies, toys or drink bottles (ie harris farm or similar).

I have put both girls in the twin capsule trolleys but DD1 didn't last long in that either.

OMG... Byron just tried to go to the park by himself. He went outside by himself for like 2 minutes, then I thought it was very quiet and went out to check and he wasn't in the yard anymore. The gates were both shut... he had climbed the fence and was about 200m down the street. I nearly had a heart attack! I just ran down the street towards him and went he saw me he started running back again. Thank goodness he didn't run the opposite way! :pray: He was nearly at the busy road.

Note to self: do not let DD's out the front. We don't live near a busy road but DD1 is more inclined to run away from me then towards me.
