Lisa - I remeber you wanted a girl. Isn't it amazing how we get something in our heads when really we have nothing to base it on, now that you have a boy you absolutely love it - but if you had a girl you would absolutely love it. I was the opposite - i always wanted a boy! Also - gav tells me to come on rides i'm like NO - i make him take me on lesuirly strolls, he is in training for a race that is happening on 4th of Feb - so i am out of the picture for a leaisurly ride!
Mitch - good idea for putting Alexia in the Jolly Jumper whilst you do that - i use the Ab King when charlie is in bed during Dr Phil!
Nickers - I 'll let you know how i go tomorrow at step. What is a cuiser???
BIke Riding - we just bought a trailer to put charlie in, it is so cool.

cruiser is on of those older style bikes, have u seen the movie "Now and then"? the bikes that the grils ride as children? is got bg handle bars and the break is when u back pedal. really comfy low seat, just an easy bike to ride.

Jac - We've booked a venue called Mulberry on Swan for March 15th 2008! It's in a winery region called the Swan Valley about a half hour from Perth. Nicely situated so that the ceremony will be down on the river and there is a couple of function rooms up the hill a bit, so we've booked one of them for the reception. So very excited now that I have something to work towards! Hence the wanting to lose weight asap! Tried on a couple of dresses the other day and surprisingly enough the style (strapless with a fru fru bottom half) that I despise really suited me the best - always the way eh?!
Amanda - you guys done any wedding planning yet?
And I had a massive fall off the bandwagon health kick wise today, was making some cookies for my dad when i licked a bit off my finger - worst thing I coulda done - it was so yummy so I gorged on it til I felt crook!! D'oh. Another big bike ride tonight! Tim's got other 'fitness' ideas!
Jac how much was your bike trailer for Charlie? I could seriously use one of them. (sometimes I think for me!!)

We think we have found a house :biggrin: Yay! We are meeting with the mortgage broker tomorrow and then we are going to make an offer. Its so exciting but scary too lol
Abbey has 2 more teeth, so up to 6 now. She got another bottom one and one of her top front teeth. Luckily she has been so good about it. I gave her her first finger food the other day and man was that scary! So i'm sticking to soft finger foods for now, mango and banana etc.
Susan... The place you have booked sounds fantastic.. so pretty. And how exciting trying on dresses. I haven't done anything yet, we still haven't decided when so should probably get onto that lol.
I'll tell you what all this talk of exercising is putting me to shame lol, I should start doing something but motivation is hard to come by lol. If we get thos house its right near a friends house and she has already told me I will be going for walks with her lol Well done to everyone for doing this and foe any weight loss,

sooz - i had a strapless dress with a huge skirt cost me over $3000 - bit of a waist for just one day! but i loved it so much! I went in there with completely diferent ideas then when i tried on what i wanted it looked crap so then i tried on my dress and loved it.

Sooz I have a Dior dress, worn only once, cost me over $4,000 if you want to borrow it!!!:lol: Mulberry on Swan is very nice, I love organising weddings, I want to get married again so I can organise some more!!

sooz - mulberry on swan is gorgeous! I've been to a couple of weddings there when it was Mulberry farm, including my sisters, it's so lovely. They also sell (well they did, don't know if they still do) the most delicious white port - YUM! Like Lisa, I love organising weddings - Mark actually wants to do it all over again every 10 years - yikes, that means next year, where the heck has the time gone!!
Amanda - congrats on finding the house u want. Good luck with getting the deal finalised. It's so exciting moving house, especially when it's into your own.
Teeth - Josiah has 8, 4 top & 4 bottom, and I can feel a few lumps further back, but don't know how long they'll take to come through.
Well, I'm officially back at work full-time, which I haven't done since before Janae was born. I'm excited about the work, coz it's at my new job which I love, but it's only been 2 days and I already miss my kids to bits, and Janae's noticing it already :( Unfortunately, I don't have a choice atm, but hopefully I'll be able to cut back in 6 months or so.

Health kick - I've been doing pretty well with my eating, which is just as well coz I had a salad for lunch and a friend brought chicken treat around for dinner!! I'm staying away from the scales until weigh-in, so no idea how I'm going.

we have real etstate coming thismorning to maybe put our house on the market. DH got a promotion over christmas to co director of his company, its back in sydney so he hasnt accepted it yet but most likely be moving back. he is flying up tomorrow just to look at some houses etc.

Jacci.. i am working full time.... During the week i am pretty much a fulltime working single mother... (Dh is out of town Sun night - Fri night)....
So I am pretty knackered lately & havent been posting much (but i am reading!!!)...
Alexa is a terrible teether & has 2 molars & 2 other bottom teeth moving atm & she is diabolical I am up at least twice a night & not for a short time either!!!!.. hopefully she will come right soon I am sick of sleeping (or tryin to) on the lounge reclining chair LOL....
less than 2 months till her 1st birthday now OMG!!!!!

well just got back from the pool - it is stincking hot here! charlie loved it.
Going to put him down for a nap now - he is hardly eating or drinking milk - but he will drink water as long as i give it to him out of the water bottle and not in a sipper cup - he wants to be a grown up way too soon!

yeah Jordy wont drink water very well from anything "sealed" like a bottle etc... out of the avent bottle with the lid off, or a cup, or even the avent botle lid is fine - weird
And spoke with Jen a little while ago, not interested in the ad work - sorry ladies, no seeing our little boy on the big screen

I got kellys permission and forwarded the details of the ad to my sister who has her daughter Alyssa born 21.04.06 I'll let you guys know if she goes further with it.
Big weigh in tomorrow everyone! Im feeling pretty confident for a loss but the last few days i know if could have done better..but ive been busy getting the house spotless/clutterless and trying to keep it this way.
we are going ahead with selling our house so will prob go up in a fortnight or so.
Lisa- i meant to reply earlier. I'd like to try for a girl this time. I would have loved a girl last time but DH was pretty set on a boy as he was the last male in his family, so now Nixon carries it on (but if we dont have another boy the weight will be on his shoulders to have a boy!) My SIL had her ultrasound yesterday and found out she is having another boy (baby2), so now the pressure will be back on me to have a girl for dh side of the family!

Umm.. dont think so Lisa.... I guessed my starting weight & have put on 2kg form that LMAO.... So my official starting weight (yes I brought some scales) is 72kg....9+ kg to go LOL...
Remember any weight loss no matter how small is still a loss.....!!! Off to eat a carrot for lunch now LOL....

I blame my forgetfulness on last nights happenings.... a) we went to bed a bit late, then we started having a bit of fun together only to get interrupted at a fairly critical moment by one of the cats playing with a mouse on our bedroom floor... there goes any chance of finishing DTD... Took me about 30 mins, with the cats help to corner the mouse so I could take it outside
Of course whilst I was doing that Jen was in bed (well off the floor) and put the TV on. I'd disconnected the foxtel cables whilst hunting down said mouse and there is some crappy quiz show on Ch9 - quizmania or something. Has anyone seen this piece of drivel... my god ! Didnt help that the phone lines you are supposed to ring in on kept not working... damn they should have cut their losses and put something else on... So was well after 1am that we got to sleep... Jordy was then up at 2.15 til after 3, and again from 5 til after 6 and up again at 7.30 - we need sleeeeeeeep

Quizmania- yeah ive seen that crapola Abs, one night when dh was away coudlnt sleep, started watching, though oh yeah easy i know some names begining with D....try ringing, u cant even get through to them but costs u each time..... never done it since, there was a thing on ACA about these shows (there is another similar one on another channel late at night) how much of a scam they are. how irriating are the hosts that try to keep blabbling on about nothing for hours!
Theresa- well you have two darlings already so i think after 2 my dh will be be wanting to stop. atleast till say Nixon was in school! (id like 3)
Jac- how did u go at step class? Ive just come back from doing pump. i upped my weights a few kgs on the chest track. OMG i couldnt keep up! Sad thing was there was a chick next to me lifting DOUBLE what i was and she never stopped once. dh was put to shame when he did the first class half of the chicks were lifting more then him (to his defence he was sore from going back to kickboxing the day b4) but these chicks are super fit, not big girls but boy they can lift some weights
