My DD Phoebe was born on the 3rd April, 9 weeks early due to PE weighing 1512grams or 3lb 3oz. She had no complications at birth and came along in leaps and bounds. She is now over 6kg and has been on solids for the last month. She has also been teething for the last month and a bit.
I'm so proud of her, this morning we were having our tummy time and she rolled onto her back! I couldnt believe my eyes so I put her back on her tummy and she did it again!! And then when I was praising her for it she laughed at me. Two milestones in a matter of minutes lol

But congratulations on the birth of of your daughter Phoebe. Please come over and introduce yourself in the NICU/premmie mums section, my son was born at 33weeks, there are a fair few mums on BB who have been through the premmie journey, hope to see you in there!
Hi everyone
Haven't been in here for ages, just no time between looking after the boys and running my business
But all doing well. Great to see a few of you have new babies and a couple on the way. We are starting to look at having another one, but one this time not twins.
Hi Kelly! Long time no chat!
Thats exciting your thinking of ttc again, were the boys conceived naturally? sorry i don't remember.
becky wtg on getting the kiddies asleep at the same time!
Just a quick hi to say things are well here, tired and busy but happy and healthy.
will catch up when I have more time,
oh CONGRATS to the NEW MUMS!!!!!!!!
hi guys been busy jess just doesnt sit still and all she does is look for things to destroy
i forgot about this stage its a tiring stage
anyway i cant get jess to eat breakfast just wondering what all your kids eat or you having the same problem.
ive noticed this week when i say something she trying to repeat me its so clever now if i ask her something she says yes and nods her head.
Yes it has been a while since we got a new thread...
Have had a pretty stressful week with Emma. When the MW came and weighed her on Monday she had lost 120grams. way 2 much 4 a newborn 2 lose so have been spending tons of time on the breast pump. She has a very little mouth so wasn't attaching properly n therefore not getting enuf milk. we have been giving her ebm in the bottle ever since n she is now just over 3kg again. Sarah has been running amok while I spend over an hour soring out feeds! Seems Emma is a happy starver.
Congrats Shell! at least Lanah is telling u wen she is hungry!
Finally have internet @ home! got wireless modem today n have spent some time surfing. Maybe I wont have double digits of email to read every time i log on in future!
Man oh man where has the time gone. I haven't had a chance to scratch myself lately. I have been keeping very busy with my boy and also Tupperware lately as I have just been promoted out to manager (not bad for someone who knew little about the product and only started 6 months ago). So hence why I haven't been around for awhile.
D's teeth have all seemed to be coming at once he now has all 4 top teeth one front bottom one and the 2 top back molars, they seem to be popping up out of order too, guess he just likes to be different. He's also up and walking pretty much 99% of the time now and thinks he is just the greatest when he's doing it, so cute to watch but you can also see that he has known how to do it for ages cause he gets up quite a pace when he wants to.
Can you all believe that this is their 2nd Father's Day, where oh where has that time gone? Esp this year, I think if we blink it will be there birthdays again.
A huge belated congratulations to Shell & Ali on the safe arrivals of your 2 precious girls.
Ali - Glad you have figured things out and that she is putting weight on again. Go the wireless too I bet that makes life a bit easier for you.
Shell - how's life treating you now as a mother of 2 beautiful girls hehe.
Nickers - Won't be long now and you and Joy will be next. What adventures has Nixon been up to lately?
Joy - wow 31 weeks already doesn't seem that long ago, well to us maybe not you. How is Caden going? Doing anything new lately?
Jesabell - Sorry I'm not able to help you in regards to the breakfast problem you are having atm as D loves his food too much not to eat, my problem is should I stop feeding him. Hope someone can help you out though.
KellyW - Long time no talk, have had a name change while you were away. Glad you are all well and the business is doing well. When will you guys be TTC again?
Becky - Hey chickee how are things going on your end with your master Declan? Is he getting up to a much mischief as mine?
Amanda - Just wondering how your scan went yesterday? Did you manage to find out what you were having (apart from a baby hehe)?
Mitch, Abs, Bel, Jacqui, Kate - Hi to you all, I hope all your kiddos are treating you well, pop in for a catch up if you have a chance. Seems that everyone is dropping off slowly.
I hope I haven't missed anyone and if I have I'm sorry but my mind is on the shut down as its my bedtime. Hope to hear from you all soon.
sounds like you are all doing well, we're doing ok here, just really busy. I'm supposed to be doing final preps for our special fathers day service at church tomorrow, but I couldn't resist coming in for a quick catch up
jess - sorry can't help you with breakfast, both my kids like theirs pretty much as soon as they get up. If you've got any dinner tips though, I would be grateful....is jess having a bottle in the morning before breakfast? I think it's just one of those things they all go through, too much to do and learn, who's got time to eat!
Ali, glad you've got Emma's feeding issues under control and she's put some weight back on. That was one thing I was always nervous about with breastfeeding - whether or not they were getting enough milk.
Congrats on the tupperware promotion Amy. I went a bit nuts last week and just ordered a stack of new tupperware, I can't wait for it to arrive!
Kelly! So good to hear from you. Glad the boys are doing well - they must be keeping you soo busy, I'm flat out with one 1y/o! Hope you pop in again soon...
Anyway, better get back to my prep - HI to everyone else and HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all your other halves!

: tired - dumb mistakes
hi guys yes jess is having a bottle before breakfast but usually i try to give her a oiece of toast after it and then about quartere to nine try her on a big breakfast but have ran out of ideas what to give her nothing appeals to her anymore. alison im glad you found out about emmas feeding problem jess had a feeding problem when she was a baby i wasnt supplying enough and she was a thirsty girl as she was big baby she needed lots to drink.i felt horrible anyway im glad it all sorted out for u .its been a busy day we have been out all day and jess is filthy she had the best day at the park .anyway happy fathers day to all the dads out there
Horror of all horrors today @ 6:15pm! my breast pump stopped working! It would have 2 happen wen the shops r shut wouldn't it?!?!? thankfully the hospital was happy to loan me 1 for a fw days till i can replace mine. i wonder if it has something to do with dh dunking the motor . he was tired @ the time tho.
The prob we have is that emma's mouth is too small to take enuf breast n she continually pulls off. my supply is more than enuf 4 her.
Sarah only has her canines and the second set of molars to go teethwise.
Any1 seen Abs lately? haven't seen him in here 4 ages!
Nic – they were IVF, we still have 3 frozen embryos so looking at trying one of these, only 1 this time not 2
Amy - re teeth, Adam has just got 2 back molars, but Hayden has got teeth quick from the beginning, he has his 4 molars plus 4 eye teeth. Re TTC again Seeing the doctor next week to find out what is involved in doing a frozen IVF cycle. I only gave up breastfeeding 2 weeks ago so I believe it may depend on if I am ovulating again yet.
Kelly- thats great you still have the frozen embryos so there is no needing to go through the whole process from the begining again. Amy- congratulations on promoting to Manager! I am still demo level and just got my 1st recruit! would you beleive she is a BB member hehe! she is due 2 weeks b4 me so just going to do all her training and 4 parties then stop when bub arrives and start a few months later. I hope to become manager early next yr i i can. What state are you in? What distributorship are you at i you dont mind me asking? would be nice hearing your name at sessions LOL! I was at 'evolution" in melb and now i am at "amazing" in Sydney.
Abs- someone spoke to him not so long ago and he's been heaps busy with the business etc? Anyway Happy Fathers day Abs and all the daddys! I know 2 fathers days already scarey stuff!
Nixon is good yesterday went to my parents in the arvo for fathers day. My sister and her 2 girls also went. Watching these 3 kids together is hilarious! Nixon gets so excited when he sees them and gos hyper. His elder cousin in almost 3 then Alyssa is the same age as him. I am trying to think what a mad house it will be when this bub is their age and 4 of them are all running around after each other!
Sometimes Nix has milk in the morning and other times he has a few sips then thats it. If he does that i usually tip that milk into his cerial (wheetbix or oats) but if he drinks it all i might give his toast for breakky or some fruit etc, He absolutley loves Banana's and if he see's them he says "Nana"
well today i am 32w4d, i was 32w5d when i ruptured membranes so any day after tomorrow will be a blessing!
Ali- typical the pump breaks down at a critical time, thats good the hosp loaned you one though. which one are you using?
Nic - no problems asking, its nice to chat to someone who knows what I'm doing lol. I'm in Qld under the Rainbow Party sales which is based in Rocky. My new team is now called Xquizit & I am a branch off of Fire Crackers. I'm pretty knackered as I just got home bout 40mins from being on the go all day, so just about to crawl into bed. Kiosk this morning, taxi driver/memories for our Canadian exchange student who's back for a week then a party/cooking demo from 7pm. Sounds like you had a nice day yesterday for Fathers day too.
Ali- Good to hear Emma has put on 120g and in 2 days
Hi to everyone else- yes I'm being very slack tonight but I am pooped.
Well I may be MIA tomorrow and Wed as its our Anni tomorrow & my bday Wed and DH has said I wasn't allowed to plan anything either day so just waiting to see what is installed for me. But will be back so keep chatting guys, it's nice to see our group coming alive again.
So till then, you preggo's look after you and bubs no early arrivals (well not this early anyways); new mumma's look after you and your darlings; all of us with toddlers - I hope they aren't running too much of amok
Amy - Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday! Hope you get spoiled rotten!
Jess - I wouldn't worry too much about Jess' breakfast if she's eating properly the rest of the day. But even then, they go through cycles when they don't eat much. We've just got over one with Josiah, he went about a week eating hardly anything and is now eating the cupboards bare again. It can be quite stressful when they don't eat though!
Everything is going well at this end of the country - except I've been having an attack of the guilts for working full time. Unfortunately it's a necessity atm, and I really do love my job but I think having Josiah in daycare full time for 3 weeks while dad was away messed with my head. That and I had my 4 year old say to me this morning 'Mum you're messy and dad always has to clean up after you' Not good when I'm feeling crappy about not being around for them more as it is!
Anyway, better go and do some cleaning so dad doesn't have to clean up after me! Get the washing folded before bed at least....
