Hi!
Had a great night last night at the comedy festival gala - but it was a late one and by the time we picked the kids up and I crawled into bed it was nearly 1am!!
Louis is mostly over his cold and Dylan is in the heavy of it now poor little monkey...I just had to go and put the vaporiser on as he woke all snuffly and didn't want to sleep...he's hardly slept all day and spent like 2 hours just lying on the couch watch tv...He never does that!! I've been getting lots of cuddles though and he had a snooze with me on the couch this morning for 1/2 hour or so - until Louis was obviously sick of us sleeping and started making lots of noise to wake us up - lol!
Kel - I know! This week should be pretty cruisy though..dh even offered to help me get the housework done tomorrow! WOW!
Oh yeah...expect tantrums for 1 - I don't know why they say terrible two's - Louis had some really great ones from 1 and I think Dylans already started - if he's not allowed to have someone he gets so angry and frustrated!!
With the food...Dylan hates to eat different food to us and also likes to feed himself now...just a sign of them getting independent! Dylan eats all what we eat now anyway...risotto, pasta bakes, lasagne - I just chop it up a bit and throw it on the tray of the high chair and let him go for it...he eats way more this way...I even give him his own roast dinner etc...and he's only just got a tooth! He's always managed really well - the other night he had baked potatoes and he had chopped up sausage with it and he ate it all up!
Oh and I put it straight on to the tray of the high chair because if you put it on a plate or a bowl it will inevitably end up tipped on the floor!
Mel - How silly is it! I agree - I'm not giving Dylan any easter eggs...he's got a cute little bunny rabbit present instead...we don't go crazy at easter anyway and I've bought a few for Louis but nothing major - it will be more exciting going on the hunt with him this year! I'm so excited to hide them all outside!! We never did that when we were kids...
Wow - how exciting your wedding is just around the corner!!! Have fun finalising everything!!
It's so quiet in here!!! I hope everyone has a happy easter - we're not going away so I'll pop back in over the weekend anyway!!
Chat later!
-
Oh mi god just ost an epic post! How annoying!
Here is the abbreviated version!
kel - you be strong while Dh is off to support you - it is good for her to learn and you need the rest too!
Mel - you must be getting super excited now your wedding is so close!!!
Kris - Hope the boys get better soon - you know they are not well when they are happy to watch telly being STILL!!
Us - Beau is unwell, power chuck last night and shoving his thumb right in the back of his mouth, I think its the big ones coming thru! I went and got some sm-33 and have been dosing him up with Panadol, he wakes every 20-30 min and is hot to touch but not too high a temp. He just woke and I nursed him back to sleep in my arms and he fell off - which he NEVER does so I know he is crook. Poor little sucker - he isnt 'my beau' at the moment...
Running around getting the house ready for the agent photographer on Tuesday - no turning back now!
I bought 10 eggs for a egg hunt with Beau and now there are seven left....It wasnt me I swear!!! Happy Easter everyone! Big kiss to bubbas - wheres Kaz?????
-
Hi!
Another super lazy day for us - I'm loving it...topped off by indian takeaway for dinner and the max top 1000 music on all day! LOL! Kids even stayed in their pj's all day (until bathed and put in fresh pj's - hehe)
Made zucchini slice which was a hit with the boys....
Jen - Boys seem to be on the improve...still a way to go though..Dylan fell asleep sitting up on the couch this morning at about 9am for 45min and then had 2 more 1 1/2 sleeps today! He's only just gone to sleep now though...
Oh no - I hope Beau gets better soon the poor little thing...you just know when they're not right don't you??? Mothers intuition!!
LOL on the easter eggs...I think there's a egg snatcher in this house as well...LOL!
Pm'd Kaz so hopefully we hear from her soon!
Chat tomorrow!

Hiya girlies!
Mel, Lily has gotten one egg so far, just a little one, and I gave her a bit to try- her first nibble on chocolate. She loved it and had it everywhere!! I think she had more smeared on her and the table that she actually ate...But Daddy and I ate the rest of it :p
Kris, glad to hear you're having a quiet few days for a change! How are you feeling? Any m/s or anything? I hope you're feeling good.
We don't have a high chair so I can't put her food on the tray. We have one of those chairs the attach to the table and the table is too far away to put the food staight onto it. I just give her food bit by bit.
I hope the boys are better now.
Good thinking pm'ing Kaz. Not something I thought of- I'm gonna blame baby brain!! I hope she's ok.
Jen, yeah I intend to take advantage of DH being home!! He's a pretty good help, if I spell things out for him to do, LOL! Otherwise he's pretty lazy. And he's great at procrastinating. I swept the floor and mopped today and he said 'why are you doing that?' I said 'the fairies won't do it' he said 'But I only did it a few days ago'. He'd done it a week and a half ago...He just has no idea of how often to do things, and thinks that things like the floor looks clean, so its ok. When I showed him the filthy water from the mop he couldn't believe it! I just hate having to tell him what to do all the time, I feel like such a nag
I hope Beau is better for you soon, poor little man. Sounds like alot of our bubs are out of sorts. Lil's not actually sick, but she's pretty temperamental and gets really sooky in the arvos. She's not sleeping well in the day time, waking between 1-4 times a night at least, and still isn't eating very well.
Well I am so so so bored!!!! We have been home all day and with nothing open and the weather being pretty miserable and having not much money....well it all makes for one boring day for Kellie!! I have been looking at websites for Lily's birthday and I think I have a cake design to try out- its a catterpillar and its so cute!! DH made up an invitation with some piccies of her and I will print them onto some pretty paper. I'm so exited!
Ohh!! Lil's started walking properly today, just standing up and walking around, she's so cute!! I will put some piccies up of her walking and trying to bop to Hi 5, it was so funny :D I can't believe she's getting so big.
Ok enough of my nattering, happy long weekends ladies!
-
Oh...i have a little secret...just did a hpt and well what do you know. I got a bfp in the middle of the day. 2 lines came up straight away. I am so excited. DF and I are going to try very hard to keep it a secret until our wedding day in 3 weeks. I hope we can. The only thing is my hens night is next week and we are having ****tails. My bridesmaid will be here soon to finalise stuff and I have decided to tell her so we can work it out together.
Well thats my news!!!
-
 WOOOOHOOOOOO Mel!!! Congratulations!!
What great news, I'm so happy for you :)
-
Yeah Mel!! Congratulations!!! Ooh we will be due very close together I imagine!!!
How exciting for you!! Bugger at missing out on your hens night drinks! LOL! How are you feeling??? Have you got symptoms??
Kel - I've been feeling quite nauseous but nothing to really wipe me out iykwim? It doesn't seem to matter if it's when I've eaten, when I'm hungry, when I'm eating it's just there lingering...LOL!
Yeah at Lily walking!! How exciting!!! There'll be no stopping her now! Gosh..your good looking up cakes...I should probably get more organised for Dylans b'day...
I didn't get out of bed until 11am this morning!! Aaahh bliss! Dh even tidied up the kitchen for me (it was feral) then we just chilled out at home, went to the shops in the arvo for some supplies for tomorrow - basically stuff for a cooked brekky...
I'm excited to be easter bunny tonight - we're going to make bunny footprints through the hallway to the back door and hide eggs everywhere!! I'm so excited!
I need inspiration - what are you guys getting your kids for their b'days??? I have no idea and I've been shopping and there's nothing I like...I'm feeling really awful about it at the moment...I just want to get something thats a bit special...it's so hard though as we already have so many toys for Louis that he doesn't really need anything...crazy I know...
Happy Easter!
-
Kris, I'm not getting much at all for Lily, though there is heaps I would love to buy her!! But she doesn't need alot. She will get gifts from friends and family, and she won't know what's going on. We don't have alot of money and I would rather spend it on her actual celebration, rather than toys she will use for five minutes. She doesn't have alot of toys, but she also doesn't need alot. She's still only a baby, and even if she was bigger, she would still not have too many toys. I'm not a big believer in buying alot or spoiling kids. She doesn't get toys/gifts during the year really, other than books or for celebrations. I might get the occaisional thing, but only something small.
I want to get her textas and crayons, paints and brushes, maybe an easel, though I don't really have anywhere to put it, so I'm not sure. They are also a bit expensive, so maybe we can do that for another time, LOL! Probably some books, puzzles, other 'thinking' toys. Maybe a few winter clothes... I don't really buy her the more novelty toys, I let mum and her uncles do that, hehe. What a stingy meanie I sound like, LOL!! Though I did see a train with animals and stuff on it that sings which I thought she'd love. She likes cars and trucks and stuff, my little petal!! Maybe she should have been a boy??? But I probably won't get her all of that those are just ideas I have. We'll have to see how much we can afford to spend.
Ok gonna go and have a warm bath, hmmm....Happy easter girlies and bubbas!!
-
Thanks girls. I am testing in the morning just to make double sure, but the 2 lines came up straight away so its pretty positive. I am due on the 28th November I think. I have been feeling tired the past few days, had a bad headache as well and the similar nausea feeling in the back of my throat since Thursday...that kind of gave it away.
As for presents for Olivia which is only tuesday week away...well I am a bit like you Kel, we dont buy much coz we have family and friends who i know will spoil her, but even if we didnt have them, we arent too big on loads of stuff. She has more fun with boxes and paper. i like the idea of getting her to use her imagination. Books and drawing stuff is on my list of stuff. I also want to see if I can get her some of those yellow hats, rain coats and gumboots...just have to find them.
Sorry I missed that Lil was walking...how cool is that. She will keep you busy!!!
Olivia is still waking at 2am at night, but we have managed to stop the feeds...just got to get her to resettle on her own...and not come in our bed to do it!!!
Ok better go, am hiding as we have visitors!!! Oh I told my bridesmaid today. Am not too fussed about missing out on drinking. But am hoping we can keep the suprise til then. I can see Adam is busting at the seams!!!
Take care
Love Melissa
-
Thanks guys...I know I'm a bit nuts about presents...I don't know why...we have soo much stuff with nowhere really to put it either that I am being a bit extra selective...Kmart's having a sale next week so I'll just go and get a few small things I think...alot of the stuff you guys have mentioned we already have...LOL...gosh - if I have another boy there'll be nothing left to buy - LOL! Nah - I'm excited to move later this year as we'll be able to get them a trampoline and swing set for chrissy so it will be an easy one!!
My whole families worried about them getting spoilt but I definitely don't just buy Louis everything he wants...especially now that he actually wants it - although most times he's happy to have a look at it in the shop and then we put it back without a tantrum or anything...
Arts and crafts are a great idea - I don't think it would matter if you wait though as we have all of it and Louis doesn't even use it that much now (but he's not really into it heaps either...) Usually he'll do it for 5-10min and then he's bored - LOL!
Puzzles are a good idea - I must actually grap some out tomorrow for Dylan to have a play with - see how he goes!! Louis always loved the wooden peg ones..
Chat later...
-
Its hard to know what to get them especially with alimited amount of space. I have been looking on ebay for a plasic outdoor gym thing...
Anyway...tested at 4 am and got a positive straight away. So definately utd.
Got to go feed the moo:)
Have a great Sunday
-
Oooh Melissa how exciting!!! What a great easter present for you guys!!!
An outdoor play thing is a great idea!!!
Happy Easter everyone! Louis was so excited finding easter eggs everywhere and we had a big cooked brekkie!! Think we'll head off for a walk when Dylan wakes up it's such a beautiful day!
-
Ok I just typed a massive post and lost it twice - my brain may explode. Will do it later when i calm down
-
Oh jen youre not having much luck are you??
-
Hi!
Oh no Jen - there's nothing worse...maybe next time write it in a word document and then just copy it across???? Then at least you'll have a copy if anything happens when you got to post....Grrr though...
Texted Kaz and she's well...just been back at work and busy!
Hope you enjoyed your sundays - we're off to Geelong adventure park tomorrow with the boys - should be heaps of fun but I can't go on the waterslides...grrr - hehehe.

Hi all,
We just went down to the local shopping centre where they had farm animals. Olivia loved it. So did I!!!!!
Glad to hear kaz is ok. I wonder how erin is going with her move and we also havent heard from tiffany lately. I guess everyone is busy, unlike myself surfing the net every 5 minutes!!!
Well, my boobs are huge!!! I am going to have a major stress about my dress if I cant fit into it. I didnt tell the lady yesterday....maybe i should.
Anyway, I better attend to my screaming child who is refusing to go to sleep.

Hi Ladies and bumps,
Well we are home now. We ended up staying down there for an extra couple of days as my Nana passed away the day we were going to leave so we stayed until the funeral. I met one of my Dad's brother's for the first time. It was so weird he wasn't what I imagined lol I am so impressed with Phoebe and how she handled the long trip back although by the end of both days she was getting antsy which is only to be expected. She has a carpet burn blister on her big toe from going nuts in the hotel room. Phoebe has her great grandfather totally wrapped around her little finger. I hope everyone has had a nice Easter. We didn't bother much at all with it. Phoebe got a lil bunny from my Nana but thats about it. I'm going to freeze it until I think she is ready for chocolate. Lol I got a rude awakening yesterday morning through being bitten on the nose. Her toothy pegs aren't all the way up and she already knows what to do with them. I'm hoping to send out her birthday invites this week, I know I've left it a bit late but with my Nana passing I haven't thought about it much but it wasn't going to be a big thing anyway. I start back at work on Tuesday (not looking forward to it but have no choice). Phoebe isn’t too well at the mo she picked up a bug from my sis and it’s gone straight to her chest. Temp of 37.9 this morning so off to the Dr’s we went. She is not taking her bots (I’m resorting to syringe feeding her) and doesn’t want any of her food other than some pumpkin soup. My hat is off to you all having another bub, I don’t think I could handle it. Had her weighed today at the Dr’s, she is 8.62 kg. Daddy and daughter are asleep so the Kingstons have come out of hiding and I’m having some me time.
Mel- OMG CONGRATULATIONS I hope you have a H & H pg. Only 3 weeks til the wedding WOW!! Where has the time gone! I think I'll be dreaming of my wedding for the next 50 years or so. Lol now that Steve is home I have to try and catch the pc when he is not on it that’s my excuse.
Kel- Awwwww a lil boy, Congratulations. I keep telling Steve that when we are ready to go again that if we don’t have a boy we are going until we have another one. I read your other post about Lily sleeping *hugs* Phoebe went through something similar a few weeks ago for no apparent reason. Yaaaaay at Miss Lily walking that’s fabulous, such a clever lil girl. I’ve found that Phoebe too wants the food off my plate rather than what she is supposed to be having so I did the same and just put her food on my plate lol Ugh I hear ya on the trucks n cars. Here I was hoping that she would be a flower/butterfly girl but nope she likes the boys toys lol
Jen- I’ve had that happen just once to me and I was peeved off but twice I can only imagine the choice words being said at the time lol Sorry to hear Beau isn’t too good I hope his toothy comes through soon for him.
Kris- Phoebe isn’t getting much for her birthday. I would love to go nuts but she has enough toys and a trusty ol’ shoe box is her fave thing at the min.
Erin- Wherever you are I hope you are all well.
Anyway the two terrors are awake now so I better go.
-
Hey Tif,
good to hear from you. I am sorry that your nana passed away, although am glad that you got to stay back for your goodbyes. Also sorry that Phoebe has picked up a bug. Not long til her b'day hey! Olivia's is next tuesday. I was just going to get a hills swing set off ebay with atoddler swing. I think that will be it and she can be spoilt by everyone else.
Yep, three weeks til my wedding, today my boobs are instant bigger and am finding that I am hungry alot. I am really worried that i wont fit into my dress. If not I saw a beautiful maternity dress at preggie central that would look nice on!!!! But I really want to fit into this one...maybe the dressmaker will have to take it out!!!
I am having trouble getting Liv to sleep at a decent hour. Shes still awake...wide awake, despite bottle bath massage. She usually goes down between 8 and 830. What time does everyone put thier bubs to bed???? Shes still up in the middle of the night...no feeds though but wants in bed with us and we usually give in.
Well better go, chat soon
Love Melissa

Hey,
Am going to get olivias needles done today. Its a week early but with everything happening at the moment I think today is a good day for it. When I am there I will also mention that I am pregnant again, so kill 2 birds with one stone.
Have a good day
-
Hey Mel,
We had a good afternoon with my Nana on the saturday and she got to cuddle Phoebe properly which she couldn't do before. She passed early on the sunday morning so we have some nice last memories of her and it really made my Nan's day when we were there. Most nights she is in bed by 7:30-8pm.
Phoebe had a bad night lasnight ended up in bed with us again. I was ready to bundle her up and take her to the hospital she sounded so horrid, which caused an arguement between Steve and I.
I really really really don't want to go to work this arvy with her being sick. I know they would understand but would be pushing my luck if I didnt go in. The only way I can put it in words is that I dont/cant rely/trust steve to look after her. He thought I was nuts to take her to the Dr's yesterday, he was putting it down to her teeth grrrr bloody men!!!!!!
-
Goodmorning lovely ladies!!
Well I feel like a new woman today. Lily slept through the night (YYYAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!) so I didn't have to get up, I didn't get up to pee at all and DH got up with her at 6.30 this morning. Not to mention that I went to bed at 8.45 last night and didn't get up til 8am this morning, so almost 12hrs sleep, hehehe!! But I was just so tired. As well as the quickie DH and I just indulged in for the first time in....who remembers! Ohhhh, I feel so refreshed! LOL :D
Kris, you mentioned that you'll be moving later in the yr (I was wondering if you would!!) where will you be going? How exciting for you, I can't wait til we can get out of here and into a house. As well as the suburb, it's not the nicest.
Mel, LOL @ your boobs, hehe. Mine started making milk as soon as I was pg. I should have known I was from that (but nooo, it took me until 7wks to figure it out!), but I just thought it was still from bfing Lil, since I had only stopped completely a few weeks beforehand! And yep, mins are melons too! :p As for the weight gain, I have only put on two kg's this time so far. With Lil I put on at least a kg a month religiously.
That's great that olivia liked the animals. I want to take Lily to the city farm we have around the corner. I'm not sure how she'll go though. We saw some dogs the other day at the pet store and the lady got one out for her to pat and when I tired to take her hand to pat it, she kept looking away and fidgeting like she was thinking 'get that thing away from me before I burst into tears!' It was funny. So bigger animals....well we'll have to see.
I usually try to get Lily into bed by 8.00, but never any later than 9.30. Lately it's been 7-7.30, but her sleeps are all over tha place so it will almost definately be different in a few days. Good luck with her needles I hope she ok with them.
Tiffany, sorry about your grandma. Its nice you got to see her and she got to see pheobe too and say bye before she passed though.
Hehe, with this bub I kept telling DH that if it was another girl we'd be going back for more. He really doesn't want another one and has said he's getting the chop as soon as he's out. I want him to wait a few years in case we change our minds. I would like another, but I don't think it will happen.
Ok that's it for us for now, bye!!
-
I went and got Olivias needles today. She was asleep by the time we got there and didnt wake up. So unfortuately she was jabbed asleep, but that certainly woke her up. Shes been grizzly since...i would be too with 3 needles and being woken up by it. She didnt have her afternoon nap and has only just gone dow. I will let her sleep for a bit though. Poor little mite.
Has bloods done just for paper work. Now have to book myself in. Feeling crap though today. Very hard not to say anything to my mum. She asked me if I was ok coz I was all red and blotchy looking. I guess I just feel warmer already. She also remarked on how I lost weight around my thighs. thankfully my top is loose coz my boobs....well you know!!!!
Hope eveyone is doing well. back to work for me tomorrow
-
Gosh this is about my third attempt at reading everyones posts and replying!!
First and foremost CONGRATS MEL!!!!
Lol at your several tests!!! Wow its going to be filled with new bubbas in here soon! I am sure the posts will decline rapidly! Poor little lamb getting stuck when she is asleep!! What a treasure! What a wake up call! Oh when are you going to tell your mum?
TIffany - Sorry to hear about your nan, its lovely that Phoebs got to spend time with her and you have some snaps to show her when she gets older x i hope she gets better soon tho - poor thing.
Kel - I hear you on moving to a bigger house - where are you now and where are you looking to move? Yay on lils sleeping thru!! Yipee! Lol at your milk - i am going to have to have a cesar next one so i am contemplating taking motilium from the get go if nothing appears - after the trouble i had with my milk and Beau. Kel Ikea has a nice easel that is cheap = or what about threading a ribbon thru a roll of paper and hanging it from a hook onthe wall? If space is an issue....otherwise you can get coloured blackboard paint now too! Not that our bubbas are really ready for all of that! Except dylan and louis in the nuddy!
Kris in my other post i had suggested lots of toys but its gone now and i cant remember half of it! There is a special natural timber dump truck i have seen thats loevly and chunky but its 185 bucks!!! Hope you and the boys are well!
Hi Kaz and Erin hope you are good too....
Us - super buggered with all the extra cleaning and 'merchandising' of my house! The photographer was here yesterday so thats all done - first inspection on Sat!
Beau is much better, no more power voms and back on his food etc - still a cling on but I made an effort today to have special play times as all of easter we were so busy painting and cleaning we were just trying to amuse him IYKWIM not enjoy it! On another note we were talking last night about going again and i said well maybe another year and DH said we are not getting any younger (he is 8yrs older than me) so we are going to try in August!! Exciting!!!! But i have a prescription for the pill as i had such an awful painful ovulation last period but i am a bit scared to go back on it - whadya think ladies?
Ok better run
Love to all
x

Wow, we're so quiet in here lately!
Well we had the worst day of all days. I am sooo glad DH was home, because Lily was hell on legs today. All she did was whinge and she only wanted me. I was going insane. I've done something to my back too so I cant walk with her and when we sit on the lounge together she tries to stand on my belly and is always pinching my boobs/nipples! DH took her for a bit of a walk and she was better for a while, but she started up again not long after. She did have two good sleeps though thank goodness. We had 5 wake ups last night too, though DH helped me and let me sleep in again, except that she whinged all morning and that was all I could hear. So I ended up getting up at 7.30 anyway, but that's better than 6.15! She is driving me nuts and I can't figure out why...DH and I have to work tomorrow, so I am hoping for a good night tonight.
Ok well that was my whinge for the day. Heres hoping you all had better days than us!
ETA:
Hi Jen, just missed your post, Lily woke up and took ages to go back down, so I have been writing this for about half an hour!
Glad to hear that Beau is better now. There's nothing worse than them being sick and you have a thousand things to do. I understand just trying to entertain them. Lily is pretty good at doing that by herself, but gets really clingy and whinges if I go into another room. I think she's scared I'm gonna leave her. :(
We are in Fairfield at the moment. I have lived here all my life, but it has really declined in the past decade or so. I hate living here. There's heaps of petty crime and major crime too, compared to other areas. DH is a cop here so we know what goes on...once he's done his 3yrs though we might move to the country or up the coast. I'd really love to live near the beach and my dad lives in gosford.
How come you need to have a c/s? And even if you do it may not affect your milk coming in...though it can. I am so looking forward to bfing this bub and I am so hoping we are more successful than I was with Lily. I will be so disappointed if the same thing happens again.
The paper roll idea is great Jen, thanks!! But where do I get a roll of paper? I think she'll still be too little for an easel, she wouldn't be able to reach it, LOL!!
How exciting that you'll be ttc in Aug! DH keeps on saying that now that I'm pg now he is happy that it will be all over and done with at once. I'm still not so sure how much fun it will be, especially those first few months. Oh well we'll find out in about 20wks or so...:D
Ok now that's it!
-
Hiya,
Everyone must be busy, I have just cleaned all our windows and need a sit down!!!
Kel, I have seen the rolls of paper at officeworks for around 5o bucks i think, i was going to look in the yellow pages but, a jeans shop i do work for has an old school one on the counter to wrap the jeans in so i will email them and ask where they get the brown paper. i am sorry Lil has been a cling on whinger - the only thing that works with Beau when he is like that is plopping him on the long bench along our windows and he chews the blind cord toggles! Works every time!! How long does Dh have to go before he can re-locate? Thats great you have family up there too. Dhs mum and dad and brothers are up there, my mum in the blue mountains.
Mmm after the last time (horrible horrible horrible birth ended up having emergency cesar) i am going straight to the cesar this time. yeah i feel the same way about b'fing the next one too -- all that bloody extra stress and time i spent expressing and sterilizing bottles bloody hell@#!#$!!!!
Beau was awake at 5:30 this morning - i think he is preparing for daylight saving!!
-
HEEELLLLOOOO......
Wow we had the crappiest sleep last night, think we were up every 2 hours. Its either moos teeth (rash on cheeks, chomping) or reaction to needles- dr said the reaction the the mmr is delayed. Well I am hoping she sleeps well for her dad tonight coz hes got her while I have my hens night tonight. I am so looking forward to it. Must have a nana nap though otherwise I will pike by 930!!!!
hope you are all well. Oh its like 3 days to Olivias 1st birthday. Cant believe it. And 2 weeks till the wedding. Time flies hey!!!
Have a great weekend
Love Melissa
-
Hey all,
Gosh mel, we have been in the same boat re sleeping, Beau has woken the last two nights, not a lot, but its out of character. His dad rushes for the milk of course and after two nights with a not required feed, I let him cry it out instead. Last night, no wake up. Its like you have to kind of retrain teach to sleep every so often cause he gets cheeky when he is allowed up!!
We had our open house on Saturday and four people are interested to buy so fingers crossed they will offer big bucks before auction so we dont have to go thru the hideous night!
Ok, B is grapping my laptop and ipod deck thing at once gotta go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ps Mel hope you enjoyed your sober hens!
-
Hi All,
Had a great time at my hens night with the puppetry of the p#nis guy. So funny. Managed to drink out of Olivias pink sippy cup with a straw...red cordial all night. So we kept our secret. I was on a high any how and people immeadiately thought I was drinking!!!!
At least Olivia slept through last night, coz I only got 4 hours on Saturday. Shes got at least 3 teeth coming through at the minute.
And its her birthday tomorrow. So excited:)
Have a great day

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LITTLE MOO MOO.
I cant believe she is 1 today.
-
Hi girls,
Well my puter has gone bananas, so I won't be online for a while. It's getting fixed through warrenty so I expect it to take a few days at least, more likely a few weeks...
Anyway, Happy 1st Birthday to Olivia!!!! I hope you all have a great day :)
Mel, just in case I'm not online again til your wedding, I wish you all the best for your big day...how exciting!!!!
I hope everyone else is well and I will talk to you all soon. Dont do anything too exciting without me :) :p

Happy Birthday Olivia!!!!

Hi!
Long time no post...LOL.
We're all well. Nothing to exciting going on - we had 4 days away at the PIL which was nice (but boring at times) and other than that I'm trying to get through each day feeling nauseous and lethargic - LOL!!! Nah...I'm not too bad...Off for my scan soon though which will be exciting...will confirm that everythings ok and give me a due date!!
Dylan seems to have have gone through a real developmental growth spurt and is blowing bubbles in the bath and knows where his toes are and all sorts of other things...I remember teaching Louis everything but Dylan just seems to teach himself...it's very strange! He's walking everywhere and climbing everything! While we were away we were outside heaps and he kept up sooo well!! Crazy!
Melissa - Happy Birthday Olivia!! I hope you have a gorgeous day!! How exciting - can you believe it's been a year since we had our little bundles!! It's just crazy how fast the time has gone!!
Ooh glad olivia loved the farm animals - you reminded me they often have baby ones at Yarra Glen market in a little pen...I took Louis in once and he loved it!!!
LOl at your boobs getting so big already! I'm sure you'll fit in to your dress - I'm eating all the time as well and have already put on a kg! I really need to calm down but it's the only thing that stops me feeling sick...
Wow at not telling your mum yet - that's restraint for you! hehe. I'm useless at keeping secrets...
Bugger Olivia's going to bed late...Is she still having 2 day sleeps?? Dylan has just dropped to one sleep over the day - usually from 10.30-11am (although today was after 12!!) and then he usually sleeps for 2-3 hours!! He then usually is in bed by 7-7.30pm and up anywhere from 7-8am...
Ooh you've reminded me about booking Dylan in for his immunisation...Hope she's feeling better now after it..
Yeah at tricking everyone at your hens night!! I'm so glad you had a great time!!
Tiffanny - Sorry to hear about your nanna. Sounds like you had a really nice time with her though... Those teeth are lethal aren't they?? Dylan chomped down on my boob the other morning - one more of those and he'll be weaned thats for sure! LOL!
I hope Phoebe's feeling better...poor little munchkin.
Kel - Yeah on getting such a great nights sleep!!! Ooh yeah on the quickie - hehe. Dh is getting more now than he has in ages...I always feel like it more when I'm p/g...
Yep, we're hoping to move in Aug/Sep or sometimes around then. We were going to rent but now I think we're going to buy again..it'll just be a really ordinary place. I want 4 br but with our budget I'll be pushing it...so the kids will still have to share but they're so close I don't think they really would want to be apart now anyway...
Moving to the coast sounds good - at least you can kind of move anywhere with dh being a cop. Thats one of the reasons I keep considering becoming a primary school teacher is that we could move anywhere really and get a job...
Wow at only putting on 2kg this time! I think I'm going to put on heaps the way I'm eating - hehehe. My boobs never seem much different when I'm p/g only when my milk comes in...or maybe they're just permanently stretched now...how attractive...LOL.
You'll cope just fine with the 2 bubbas...although it is really hard to begin with I promise it gets easier and then you can't imagine having it any other way!!
I hear you on the kids being trying...I swear they know somethings up sometimes and that we're tired and our tolerance levels aren't that great! Hehehe. I hope Lily settles down for you soon though...
Bugger your computer needs fixing - hope it doesn't take too long!
Jen - Glad Beau is feeling better! Hope the house sells quickly for you - thats great you've already got people interested! How exciting ttc in August - that's not far away at all!!! Hmmm I don't think it will hurt going on the pill - I've always been on the pill - first the normal one for like 7 years before having Louis then mini pills inbetween the next 2 p/g and have always fallen p/g really easily...if it helps then I'd go for it...
I completely agree with the retraining to sleep...one exception to the rule and I find they're pushing again...especially if they've been sick and you make allowances (which of course is fine) but after they're better you have to get on top of it all straight away again...
Ok...thats enough of an epic from me! Chat later!

'm back!! YAY.
Hellllloooo everyone, it has taken this long to get our phone & net connected. I tell you what...they say it's because we live remote!! they should have seen where we moved from,he,he.
How are you all...sorry I'll try to read & catch up without getting confused.
OMG Mel....congrats!!! YAY - it's now 3 in the group with another bubs on the way?? HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Olivia!!! did you guys have a party?
Have I missed any others who are 1?? Ooooh not long now, we will be having a BBQ for Charlie with just some friends we have made here...just to acknowledge the day. I prob wont make a fancy cake as I did that before we left WA with all his little mates there.
Kristie I think you were asking about presents....I like keepsakes or things that make Charlies room fun. He gets spoilt with lots of toys from everyone else. Charlie will be getting some outdoor stuff from us as we can now go outside as it's not so darn hot here, he also needs a book for daycare for his special paintings etc so I plan to decorate the cover for him & give it to him on his Birthday also. Also thinking (depending on time) about making him his own colour & number book using pics of him....hmmm depends how creative I get.
Mel & Jen, we have sleep issues here also. After a full week of sleeping through things just went pear shaped & Charlie was waking every 3 or so hours & not settling at all without a milk feed, arrrrggghhhh! We first thought teeth but no real symptons, but think it may be put down to him being cold. We've started rugging him up more & only having 1 wake up now! Wow I really thought by 12months he'd be sleeping through, oh well. As for teeth we have 13 already, he teeth's every other week, the only good thing is I suppose not many more to go!
Wow I think I'm getting brain strain tryting to read all of the posts. I'll have to read up tonight when Charlie's in bed.
Quick update on us. The move has been fantastic, this town is so great!! I have 2days a week work that is great but Charlie screams each time we get to daycare & it breaks my heart...he doesn't seem to be enjoying it at all. I'm now playing netball & joined a great playgroup...so much better at making friends now then I was in the last place & i'm really enjoying myself. And we have SHOPS here...LOL...YAY!!
Charlie has a mouth full of teeth, though still refuses to eat finger food....has anyone else got probs with that??? We are on cows milk as of last week, as he's almost 12months & tbh the cost of another tin of formula was the decider...we have to be sooo much smarter with our money as we are looking to buy a house here & they are sooo very expensive. Not walking yet, who's bubba's are walking?? Oh & the strangest thing, he points & pushes buttons etc with the wrong finger, he uses the "naughty" finger..weird, we are trying to teach him the right way.
Oh, got to go that's my big boy now. Hope everyone is well & will drop back in real soon to catch up more. Take care.

Quick one from me....
Had a great day. Olivia got a few pressies from family but we are having her party on Saturday. My mum got her a tryke with a handle...she loves it.
Welcome back Erin...wow Charlie has so many teeth. Olivia is getting a molar and she so grizzly for it.
Only 12 days til our wedding...so excited and we have kept our secret.
Well, df is going to ice hockey training, so got to run.
Gees I am having real vivid flashbacks of Olivias birth and the days at hospital....

Hellooo,
Hey Mel glad olivia had a cool birthday. I guess flashbacks for us arent too far back really are they? Yuck!
Erin - glad you are all settled and getting out and about and stuff - must be cold where you are? Having to rug charlie up? I am deperately trying to find some nice warm pants with feet in them in a big size for Beau as he will NOT keep his socks on! LOL at Charlies 'naughty' finger! I have to get beau out of the pram now to press the buttons at the lights or he cracks it!
Kris - glad you and the boys are better and had a nice break away, sorry you are nauseous! I got my period today so i am off to get my prescription filled when Beau wakes up.
Kel- hugs for your puter!
Us - well i spent all morning cleaning and bugalugs didnt sleep so you could imagine that! For the stupid open house at lunch - and no-one came! What a waste of energy! beau is great, i just received his invites for his party and they look awesome! They have lovely bunting on them as that is his 'theme', we are going to have a morning tea on the saturday morning in the park near our house with cakes and treats, i thought that wold be easier (and cheaper) than a full blown meal! Me, i am a bit anxious with the house business and i burnt my hand really badly on the oven last night and didnt sleep till 2am cause of the pain and getting up for ice. It looks better today but i will never learn and use the potholders! (dont say anything kaz!)
Ok enough gibbering, i am lazing while he is sleeping...i need it!
-
Hey Jen just wondering where you got the invites made? We are having a bbq or something here with just a few mates we know. But are looking to make a trip back to SA in June for a late party with the family & some close friends....so I'm looking to get some really nice invites made.
-
Hey Melissa. I hope Olivia had a wonderful birthday yesterday. How on earth has it been a year already?!!? Only 9 more days until Jambin's birthday. I can hardly believe it.
-
Thanks Cherie, i know time has flown by.
Olivia is getting two top teeth-the ones next to the front. The gums are red on the sides and blush white where they will pop through. I can see one has cut the gum, but not quite through. Shes having a difficult time with these, has been grumpy during the day and not sleeping great at night. Hoping they will come down quickly for her.
9 days til our wedding:) Busy finalising stuff. thinking of taking next week off work too.
Well got to wake the little munchkin up so I can go to work...hate doing this!
happy birthday to Phoebe for yesterday, hope you had a great day.
Love Melissa
