Well girls, all your good wishes worked! We had a sleep-through night last night - yay!!!

Kris, poor Louis! Hopefully Dylan won't get such a severe case of it, maybe just the sniffles? Not what you need a week before your big move.

Jen, yay on being in your new house!!!! I'm sure it won't take long for Beau to settle into the new place once he reaslises that it is really his place now. I've only ever moved once - from the folks' house to ours and we bought nearly everything new so I have never had to unpack. The thought alone is daunting! Good luck. Are there some small things you can get Beau to 'help' with? Ben loves 'helping' now - at least it keeps him occupied!

Kaz, yukko on the poosplosion! Could have been worse I suppose...leakage on your work clothes would have topped it! It was probably a lovely teething one too - gross! I think I made DH sound like he doesn't do much normally, but he works nights, leaving home at either 11:30pm or 2:30am so normally he can't help me out at night. The other night he didn't get ANY sleep at all since once he finally got Ben to bed, it was time to go to work - poor boy!

Kel, geez louise! What a really rough run you guys have had!!! for you and hopefully the worst is past now. Poor little Lil seems to have copped everything. Good luck with the drive. My offer still stands if I can do anything - I'm just a quick(ish) trip down the M5 from you!

Mel, I hate these teeth that are coming through! They seem to be worse than the molars!!! Ben's have looked close to popping for weeks now and still nothing! A good night's sleep makes a total difference, so I'm sending sleep vibes your way!

I'm feeling amazing today after a full nights' sleep last night!!! Ben's eye and cheek aren't swollen any more and aren't red either, so the hayfever seems to have left. No rash either - from the strawberry - and he seems to be pretty much back to normal. We'll see how we go tonight, but at least it's Friday so I don't have to worry about work tomorrow, which is the thing that really gets me.

I officially applied for my maternity leave yesterday too, so I OFFICIALLY only have 10 WEEKS LEFT OF WORK!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!

Gorgeous day here, and we're expecting similar tomorrow. Spring is really here!!!

Kaz- yuck on the poo.....just yuck!!!! Hope pips teeth come through quickly

Kel- sorry you were all sick. It must be really hard for you. Am hoping the weather gets better and you'll be sick free. Have fun on your weekend away. 3 hours is a long time, good luck!!!!

Jen- yay on the move. It sounds lovely where you are...do post some pics of your nice view.

Mel- Glad you got some sleep too. I agree these teeth are pretty bad. Havent taken as long as the molars.....but are bad for sleep.

Ok, my 4th and final load of washing has finished, go to hang it out while the wind is warm. My first load is pretty much dry.

    Have a great weekend all

    Hi!

Disgirl - Yeah at getting to sleep all night! It's amazing what a good nights sleep can do for you! I agree on the "helping"! We usually get Louis to set the table each night but Dylan likes to do it as well now so they get 2 placemats each! So cute...
Yeah at only 10 weeks of work left!! woohoo!

Mel - Yeah at a good nights sleep as well! I had Louis 2 weeks early and Dylan came on his due date! I think Louis only came early though because I was still teaching dance classes!! LOL!

Boys are down, although Louis isn't asleep...I think he's already on the mend cos he's resisting a day sleep...I'd say he definitely won't need one tomorrow, but poor Dylan is struggling to stay asleep with his snotty nose...I might try and have a lie down but I don't like my chances...Chat later!

    Hey

Kristie- hope you got that sleep and the boys are better today.

Me- am feeling a bit upset today. Yesterday we went and got olivia from day care and the lady didnt say anything except that she was very sensitive all day and cried when other kids touched her (she got beaten up by a little boy on tuesday- he smaked her around the face a few times and grabbed at her mouth and made her bleed). Since then she has been a bit cautious...fair enough. So last night when I was changing her, I took the nappy off and it was stained...i though ooh thats funny looking skiddies, then I lifted up her bum and she had the worst rash that had been bleeding. Her bum was completely clear yesterday morning, to this. Today its 2 big red patches and very sore. Looks like shes been dragged along the ground and has carpet burn. I feel so bad for her. Hopefully it wont take long to clear up, but it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and now am thinking about what to do. Am going to have a chat with dh today and look at our options.

Anyway, thabks for listening...have a good Saturday

    Love melissa

    Hi There,
Oh Mel, Goodness, I put my hand up to my mouth when I read your post - do you think she really has carpet burn or is it nappy rash? Oh gosh I dont know what to say - Poor Olivia. What about the little ***** that hit her? No wonder she is a bit funny. Sorry but I am really not very understanding of the whole "kids are kids" thing. Whats your gut feeling? I am pretty precious with Beau - maybe the mums with bubs in daycare will give you better advice.
Dis - Glad you are feeling so well but did Ben have a reaction to strawberry? Congrats on putting your leave in! I am trying to encourage B to "help" - lets just say he has watched a hell of a lot of cookie monster this move!
Kris - Your boys will be fine - I ran around trying to put all his familiar stuff up in his room straight away to try and help him - but I think as long as we are there thats all they care about really. Glad Ethan is doing well too.
Kel - Sorry you guys have been sick, hope you are doing better and Liam hasnt caught it.
Us - Beau is pretty tired and sooky again today - I think its his teeth again - he is stirring so I better go. Hey question, he isnt eating a hell of a lot at the moment - anyone had experience with that?
    Ok better fly.

    Hi!

Well, we've officially started moving! We had final inspection this morning and dh has taken the first load of stuff over now...Woohoo! The kids loved running around the house and didn't want to leave! They were still packing their stuff though so it was quite messy but thats to be expected!

Mel - Omg...poor Olivia - what a bad run she's had this week...I wouldn't be happy with that at all...it's hard when they're in other care...it makes me wonder how much gets missed...I hope she's better soon...
Nup, no sleep was had...Louis didn't end up sleeping at all so was a waste of time...I had a reasonably early night but I'm still tired! I just wish I could give myself an energy boost! Probably not likely to happen this side of xmas though! Lol!

Jen - Yeah - after seeing the boys today I'm sure we'll have no troubles! Your right - as long as they have mum and dad I don't think much would phase them...Sorry to hear Beau is a bit sooky...I've had the not eating much with Louis lately but not Dylan so much...I'm sure his appetite will pick up again soon...

Chat later! Hope your all enjoying your weekends!
