Mel, I really, really like Kristen Elizabeth :) I think Kristen, Kris, Kristy all go well with Olivia. I really like both those names. I have a SIL Christen though and DH doesn't like the name Elizabeth *sigh* We're so bad with girls' names! So far we're kinda liking Amy (I think you liked that a while back too), Kathryn/Kate and have at various times like Natalie too. We're not adventurous at all with names - obviously! I mean Ben isn't exactly out there is it? LOL For a boy we have Jared Ray and our daughter will have the middle name Anne. That's about it though.
I had issues with my pelvic floor muscles early on after I had Ben and I had to work really hard because I was just so embarrassed. I had no control at all - despite doing all the exercises before having Ben - it was awful. I hope the physio can help you, it must be frightening seeing blood every time you go to the loo :(
I had awful constipation with Ben too. Mine was mostly caused by the vitamin Elevit though so this time I've stayed right away from it, increased my water intake and eat more fibre. So far so good, although I have some after-effects from my issues with Ben and the birth. I guess that will be there forever -yuk! Good luck at the physio.
We're going along great here. Ben slept for 12 hours last night! I had a great sleep too and that makes all the difference in the world. The better Ben is though, the more I worry that this bub is going to be a nightmare!!!
Yesterday he learnt to say "Righyho Joe!" What a crack up! :)
-
Hey Mel- thats so cute, Bens coming out with cute stuff. So far we've got Olivia to say love you...it come out lubyo!!! Oh I do like Amy as well, but I cant decide. I like kristen alot. DH thinks its too close to his cousins name, Christine, but I think I can budge him on that!!!
Yeah I hope physio will fix things up too. Its a little embarressing wetting yourself sneezing. Thankfully it hasnt happened too often and when it has its been at home. If I can feel the sneeze come on, I am usually ok, but if its a sneaky one..ohoh!! Fourth night of coloxyl and we have had some success!!! I'm on the Blackmores gold, so Im not too sure if its that. I am drinking heaps of water and I eat high fibre for breaky. Lets hope it will settle....soon!!
Well my day is cleaning and getting ready to take Olivia to my mums tomorrow night. I like to be prepared for the women who warms my daughters yoghurt in the microwave...iykwim?!?!?! I have got all her food and bedding to organise, just need to write up a routine. Hopefully she can keep to it, or there abouts!! I'm more frightened of coming back and Olivia has been going to bed at 11pm and sleeping with my mum!!! I'm sure it will be fine...only 3 nights:)
Have a great day...oh and I have text Kaz too:)
-
Hi!
Had a great day out to see Cindy's new house - there was a whole big group of us with kids (mostly forum mums!) and they had a ball! It was a big day for us all though...I managed a 10min snooze when I go thome which was much needed! I got cuddles with a little 2 1/2 m old which was soo nice - I so forget what they're like when their that small! LOL!
Disgirl - I like your names! My middle name is Ann...Sorry to hear you had troubles after having Ben..it couldn't have been nice at all...
Glad you got a good nights sleep! I'm sure bubs will be good for you!!
Mel - I'm sure your mum will be right with Olivia - I didn't realise you weren't taking her - that will be a nice break!!!
K...off to chill out...dh is heading to bed in a minute so I'll no doubt have to get off the computer (can't wait until we have a seperate office - It's horrible having everything in our bedroom!) Might have a read...

Hi girls, I'm still around, still having some contrax and losing my show, but still VERY pg! I'm really over it. And really tired.
Lily is getting sick again, grrrr! Very bad timing. I'm hoping it doesn't get any worse. I took her to the dr but they have changed their hours and don't open on Wednesday arvos!! I was p!ssed! It takes so much effort to get her out of this place, carrying her and going down all the stairs....and to have them be closed! Not happy.
Any way I'm going for a shower and going to try to sleep for more than 2hrs at a time.
Hello to everyone, and I hope you are all doing well.
-
Hang in there Kel! Won't be for much longer I'm sure...hope you manage to get some sleep!
-
Kel, you poor thing. Let's hope Lil doesn't get too sick and is back to her regular self soon. A sick toddler is the last thing you need :(
Kris, you won't know what to do with yourself when you are in your new home with all that space :)
Mel, have you left liv overnight before? I booked us into a hotel at Bowral for a wedding in November and it will be the first night I've been away from Ben. I must be nuts because I'm already worried about it
Us, I booked a weekend away at the Blue Mountains for next weekend!!! Woohoo - I haven't been away for so long! Ben's coming too, but he's no problem when we go to new places.
I've also made an enquiry for an observation at a Montessori Pre-School near us. It's for 3-6 year olds and apparantly I'm a bit late to put his name down, but I'm really keen to get him in. I'm nervous though - I feel like I know nothing about schools etc!!!!
Oooooh Ben FINALLY said "uvoooo" this morning! I've been trying to get him to say it - "Love you" that is - for ages! This morning though he finally said it, and then wouldn't STOP saying it  Don't think I'll ever get sick of hearing it though :)
-
Morning!
Disgirl - I know! We're going to have to buy bean bags for the second lounge room to start with - LOL!
It's normal to be worried about leaving bubs...I think I've had 1 night without Louis and haven't had a night at all without Dylan...I keep thinking dh and I should get away for a weekend but then I can't get over leaving the boys...so silly really...I know they'd be fine with my mum it just my own issues stopping it from happening...I will have to start thinking about letting go at some point - I was really hoping to get a weekend away before bubs arrives and I'm tied down for another 12m b/feeding but haven't organised it yet...with the house move and everything it just feels like there's too much on to bother with iywkim?
Good for you planning a weekend away! It will be such a nice break! Yeah you do have to get on top of the school thing pretty quickly - I think pre-school/kinder is a lot worse than Primary as they don't usually cater to so many students...
How nice Ben says love you - Can't get that out of dylans mouth yet...it's hard enough to get a kiss from him - he only gives me his cheek! LOL!
OK...better go and have a shower - have to do food shopping today but soooo can't be bothered...after such a big day yesterday the boys are already feral this morning...might have to leave it until Dylan has a sleep...
Chat later!
-
Kris, you've made me feel a million times better about worrying about leaving Ben overnight  I sometimes think that I'm too clingy
The whole pre-school thing is crazy! It seems far too early to even be thinking about it, but I know the Anglican schools I was looking at have waiting lists already for Prep :nono: Waaaaaaaay too expensive though - over $5000/year for a four year old!!! Geez!
-
Hey Mel I have left Olivia overnight a fair bit. First time was back in November with my mum so I could go to a hens night. I remember leaving and crying all the way home!!! She was only 8 months or so then. I have left her with DH over night, which was supprisingly good!! he told me that you cant get any thing done!!! Then we left her again with my mum for our honeymoon in April for about 6 nights....missed her so bad, then to come back and she had learnt to walk!! Now this time its for 3 nights with mum. Not too brave to give her to anyone else yet! She'll be good, its always just me, i miss her so bad.
thats so cute bens started saying that. I think I said the other day thats all I can get Olivia to say. She says it all the time and in the car...she thinks its funny, she cacks herself up.
I wonder how kellie is going??? Hope shes ok. I am off to brisbane early tomorrow so I might just quickly jump back on tonight to see if all is good with her.

Hi girls,
I'm still hanging around, waiting for baby.....waiting waiting waiting!!!
I didn't get much sleep last night with contractions and LIly up several times. DH had to work so she was all mine today. I went to mums! Mum and SIL looked after her for a few hours while I slept. I seriously don't think I got more than an hour in a row last night. All up maybe four hours sleep, and that's a generous guestimate....I'm still buggered after a nanna nap! Bubs is giving me a few good contrax today, but nothing regular.
Dis, Lil's not as sick as I thought she would be thank goodness. Just a cough, mostly at night though which wakes her :( just what I need even less sleep! At least when bubs comes I'll be used to absolutely no sleep....
Yay! @ going to the mountains. I love it up there. It so beautiful, and even in winter I love it. You can snuggle up to DH and find some beautiful cafe to eat in!
LOL @ leaving Ben. I've never left Lily either, though not from choice. Mum wont take her for the night, and I won't leave her with anyone else for the night. I would probably fret too.
Mel, as I said, I'm ok, just REEEEAAALLYY tired. Thanks for asking. I'm definately over being pg, but trying hard to be patient. I think if bubs isn't here on monday I might go in for a stretch and sweep, at least have them look and see if I'm at all dilated. I can tell you if I'm not I'll be p!ssed! All this pain and contractions for nothing!!
Kris, you've still got time to organise a weekend away! I would do it if I could, but we can't afford it, and it's just a little late now, LOL! I hear you on the food shopping. I hate it now. But I really feel the need to stock the cupboards before baby comes. Though I need DH to be with me cause he has to carry it all up the stairs. And to drive. I drove to mums today and had 2 contractions, not a good thing! And my tummy touches the steering wheel, LOL! I keep on having images of having an accident and the steering wheel going into my belly. I hate this overactive imagination I get when pg!!!
Anyhow, gotta go and organise dinner. Hope you are all well.
-
Hey Kel- this will be my last post until Monday. All the best for your labour. Thanks for the info in my other post too:)
Chat later:)

Hi Ladies
Just dropping into say hi - did a mega post the other day and lost it so have just been reading no posting the lst few days - but keeping up!
Kel - Oh no at contx and no sleep! Hopefully soon hon - glad Lil isnt sick tho
Mel - Have a great time - Olivia can enjoy gross luke warm yoghurt for 3 days yay!
Kris - Glad you are well and busy - DH is cranky with me all the time cause I want the newfurntiure now and have no where to put it! I am forever on ebay LOL1
Dis - Ben is a little cutie jabber jaws! I am form the Blue Mountains and I still love it
Us - Nothing to report really - been up since 4:4oam with Beau with a soaked body and he wouldnt go back off so today is gonna be a long one......trying to get an appt to go back to blonde hair this weekend (I change like the weather but have been brunette since B was born) I wonder how he will take it?
OK Beau has just presented me with a tub of yoghurt from the fridge!

I'm feeling rotten today. Had a migraine last night and have the usual migraine hangover today. Found out last night that my SIL who is only a year older than me has blod clots and won't be able to drive or work for at least six months. Gonna make looking after her three kids incl. a five month old hard! Also found out that a friend of mine's son, who is only 11, is thought to have bone cancer. Has put me in a terribly sad frame of mine and I keep weeping - not good when your at work!!!
The good news is that I felt Twobob from the outside last night for the first time. I think I might have felt him/her the other night, but last night it was definite :)
Ben had a big stack last night and got an instant golfball and bruise on his noggin. DH even though we should take him to the medical centre for x-rays, but he seems fine.
I just want to go home and go to bed :(
-
Hiya ladies,
Oh Dis, hun. Why don't you just go home? I would! Be Ben free for the arvo and just rest a bit, have a hot bath, go for a bit of a walk...
Jen, I hope Beau got some sleep for you, and you had a rest with him!
Mel, thanks, I hope I need it over the weekend and you come back to read my birth announcement!! Still not anything new, the same as the other days, more contractions overnight, more disgusting mucous, all to stop in the morning! Though I have been getting some more contrax this arvo, so maye things are moving, slowly, but hopefully moving...
Well, not much to report here. Lily has been good. She had a bit of a bad night, though not too bad. Shes waking screaming for some reason, I don't know if it's her teeth or she's dreaming or scared...DH has taken carers leave til bubs comes now, YAY!!! I don't have to get up for her at night, not that I'm not awake anyway, but it helps that I don't have to heave myself out of bed and have her on me through contractions!
She's been making us laugh alot lately, she's just such a clown!! She has this fake laugh and copies us when we laugh, it's so funny! She's saying alot more too, and is learning so many words all the time. This is a great time for her with learning she's just picking up so much.
Ok gotta go and eat something!
-
Hello my lovely ladies....
Wow i have spent ALL freaking day at the hairdressers going from very dark brown to extremely platinum blonde - very unsure at this stage (as was Beau on pick up) but DH of course loves me going back to blonde (how predictable are men anyway?)
Oh Kel I so have my fingers crossed for you lovely - gosh how much can a girl stand? At least Lil is being a little cutie and DH has his carers leave now so you guys can sit and wait  well, chase Lil and wait.....
Dis, Sorry you had a migraine - so tough when PG especially as you cant take anything good for it  to you too - hope you are feeling better and that little man of yours is giving you lots of cuddles, super exciting you felt two bob on the outside! Woo hoo! How great is that - makes it all the more real doesnt it? I am so sorry you have so much bad news in your family at the moment, sending you lots of good thoughts.
Us - We are good - B actully slept for Dh today which is a change - he has just woken back up after 5min of getting put down and gone back to bed with a bit more bottle and his teddy under the other arm (so cute!!!) I think he litterally watched TV and DvDs ALL DAY with Dh tho - he even went to Kmart and got the Night Garden one for him (so sweet!) - I do worry about B's obsession with tele - he stands infront of it now and whinges and whines and presses all the buttons to try and make it be one of his "shows" IYKWIM and nods his head like "Yes mummy make it be my show!!!" Question - How much Tv do your bubbas watch a day?
Ok - the smoke alarm is going off - if it wakes Beau I will freak
Have a good weekend!
Birth vibes Kel - good luck xxxx:pray:
Buh bye!!!
-
Just been stalking Kel's Belly buddies and woo hoo!!!!! Read below.....

Mum & Bub are doing great!
From the sounds of it Kel was in labour for a while didnt know she was dialated- she was in a lot of pain and went into the hospital for a check up and was 8cm gone! Kel you are amazing - huge congratulations on your precious little angel boy xxxxx:dance:
-
Oh my gosh, what a champion Kel!!!! Congrats on little Liam!!! You are a true champ going to 8cms and not even knowing it - well done :) And then to go the rest of the way drug free - amazing. Well done to you.
Thanks for posting this in here Jen :)
-
HEy I'm back and saw the great news of little- well not so little- Liams arrival. Its great to hear she went drug free too.
Hugs to you Mel- am sorry about your bad news. Hope youre feeling better today. And congrats on the outside kicks.
Hey jen- I am ebay addicted too, gggrrrrr at least you can buy stuff eventually to put in your new house.
Me- I'm getting fatter:) thats all! Olivia did well at my mums. I wrote her up a routine and she basically stuck to it, so I havent had any problems:) My mum was suprised with herself coz she said she has never in her life stuck to a routine!!! Yep- thats my mum. Olivia came back with a massive bump on her eye brow from falling down some stairs. Thenn today I took her to the indoor play centre and she got carpet burn on her face and fell and split her lip. Shes fairly battered, but thankfully happy. Shes alsleep now, so am going to take this opportunity to clean and sleep myself:)
Take care and chat soon,
Love Melissa
-
Hey Mel......how was your weekend away alone with DH??????
Sorry to hear Olivia is in the wars! Poor thing! Hey but good news the weekend with your mum was ok for them both! Did Olivia turn her nose up at her cold yoghurt today? He he:D
-
Hey Jen- the weekend was great. It was so nice to have warm weather. DH and I had a good time together and got to go on a nice long walk in the gardens. That was the only time we really got to spend on our own coz it was busy. The flight home was very bumpy.
Poor Olivia hit her mouth again tonight and took more skin off it and there was loads of blood. Not having too much luck today, hopefully it will be better tomorrow!!!
Ok am going to go to bed, take care
-
Hi girls!
I'm doing much better this week :) Addicted to saos with heaps of butter and peanut butter on them, but at least they seem to be keeping the nausea at bay!
Mel, glad you had a good time away with DH. Poor Liv, I think they're just at that age now unfortunately. Ben has an awesome bruise on his noggin. When he ran into the wall (tripped over his own feet running away from his uncle!) he got an instant golf ball and bruise - it was a good one! Since then he's added two more, but they've faded pretty quickly. We'll see many more over the years I'm sure!
Jen, are you and Beau used to the new 'do yet? I'm sure it looks great. Ben has really taken to his Big Bird and Pooh Bear at the moment too. Hadn't been interested in fluffies until then, but now sleeps with one or the other. It's very cute :)
-
Hi!
Congratulations Kel! Woohoo! Wow - he was a big boy - what an effort though to have him so quickly and without drugs!!! Yeah!!! Hope your recovering quickly and enjoying your little man!
As for us...we had a weekend up at the PIL at Bonnie doon which was nice! The boys had a ball riding on the 4 wheeler and patting the cows! I got a bit of a rest in as well...
Mel - Glad you had a good weekend! Glad that Olivia went well at your mums despite the bumps...Geez..she's really in the wars at the moment! Poor little thing!
Jen - Wow on changing your hair! Good for you - I always used to get blonde highlights in summer and when I was a teenager went fairly blonde but I haven't done it in ages...I haven't done anything with my hair since being p/g but will look forward to it (one day?) when I'm finished reproducing! LOL! I know they say it's all safe but I'd just prefer not to do anything for now....I bet you feel fantastic!
In regards to tv....my boys watch waaayyyy to much at the moment...I'm sure it will slow down with the onset of some warm weather in a couple of months though...It is just such an easy thing to keep them occupied and when they love it so much it's hard to deny them! LOL! My boys are way to addicted though and often I feel guilty about it...
Disgirl - Sorry to hear of all your bad news...how awful...I hope your feeling better now after your migraine...poor Ben sounds like he was in the wars as well.. Big hugs to you both!
Ok..really must jump into bed...I'm soo tired! Chat later!
-
I can hear the crickets chirping in here
Your weekend sounds lovely Kris! I bet the boys had a ball :) How's the packing going?
Jen, I didn't answer your tele question. Ben doesn't much like TV. He gets bored easily while watching it. Occassionally, when he's tired or just in the mood for it, he'll sit and watch and entire show - we found out he like Ducktales the other day - yay!!! - but mostly he'd rather play.
Us, well, Ben has the most awful, bleeding nappy rash. Nothing we do seems to work. We've tried every cream we could find and it's just not working. I've asked mum to take him to the doctor today as he's just in agony. Don't know if there is anything they can do for him though.
Cute story, sorry if it's a bit long. Last night we were watching Funniest Home Videos and there was an ostrich on it. Ben pointed at it so I said "Yes, that's an ostrich". He stood there for a second and then disappeared into the kitchen. I asked DH to see what he was up to (ruining cupboards or drawers maybe?) and he brings him back in with something in his hand. Ben had gone out to the kitchen to get a toy ostrich he has - just a little Little People animal. He proudly shows us and says "Ossshtt!!!!". My heart just melted! The toy has been in the kitchen since at least the weekend, so not only did he connect the word ostrich with his toy, but he then remembered where he last had it! DH couldn't believe how he put it all together either. Every day he just amazes us :D They truly are sponges at this age!!!
Oh, and before I go, my friends little boy who they thought had cancer - DOESN'T!!!! He had bleeding in his muscle which lead to calcification and then bone tissue started growing in his muscle - ouch! Painful, but it's not cancer!!!! Wooohooooooooo!
-
Thats fantastic news on your friends boy Mel. And yep arent they big spuges and so cute...unless you have a little terror like mine at the moment, but cute all the same. Hey I just noticed your ticker and your 18 weeks already! Wow that went quick. When are you having your scan and will you be finding out what it is??? How exciting!
Kris- yep your weekends are so much fun. I wish I knew someone who lives in the country so we could go and do stuff like that. Dhs grandparents have Maldon, but we havent been there in ages and theres no power, just a shack! Must get up there though when its a bit warmer. Oh and Kaz is happy to meet up, just got to organise a day and time. Hopefully she will jump on line:)
I wonder how kellie is going??? That will be me in 14 weeks....omg!
Took Olivia to the allergy specialist for her review and hes happy with her progress. Got to stay off yeast. he doesnt think it will be life long but wont commit to how long!!! Now I just have to clear up the rest of the mouth as its so dry. Also got to heal her war wounds which she keeps knocking and they bleed. terror is in bed early. Last night she was inconsolable and wouldnt stop crying for about an hour, even with hugs, rocking, putting her in our bed. I think it was because i just put her to bed and dh got home from work and went in to say goodnight and she wasnt asleep and wanted to see him. So we brought her out for a bit, but even then she was crying so hard she started coughing and gagging. It upset me so much. I gave her some panadol and within 5 minutes she was asleep!! So she slept from 9pm til 730am without coming in with us. But shes been grizzly all morning and throwing tantrums. So i popped her in bed at 1130 and she was asleep just before 12nooon. Good. Hopefully she will wake up in a better mood.
I'm not getting too much sleep at the moment with this little bub kicking all night. My belly has exploded. We still havent got names, but have a list. My fav - Kristen- isnt on there:( I put up a thread with them in the baby name section but havent got to talk to dh about them yet.
Anyway i have written too much:)
-
I've been wondering about Kel too. I wonder how Lil is going with her new little brother.
I can't believe you only have 14 weeks left Mel!!!! I still can't believe I'm pg, nevermind being 18 weeks already! I have my scan on Wednesday, but we're not finding out what we're having this time. Mind you, we weren't finding out with Ben, but he wanted us to know so he showed us
Ben has the WORST nappy rash at the moment :( I got mum to take him to the doc today it's that bad. Poor little guy is walking around like he just got off a horse :( He won't sit at all, it's either lie down or stand :( I've got a list of things to try to heal it up, and I'm off tomorrow so I'll be able to let him run around bear-bummed before we head off. It's awful, bleeding and blisters. Poor bubba. All related to teething.
-
have fun with your scan. thats funny ben showed you what he was!!! And ouch on the nappy rash. Its so hard to try and heal them in the freezing cold, trying to get it warm enough to take the nappy off and then cleaning up after them. Good luck.
Olivia did a poo in the bath last night!! It was so funny, she was squatting and just looked at me and did a big fart!! And out it came. if i had a quicker reaction time I probably would have been able to catch it in the jug!! Oh well, we just cleaned it up and she ended up showering with me!!!!
I have my physio appointment today. Hopefully I can get some exercises to do for these crappy pvm.
Olivia is at FDC so I need to go clean and clean before she comes home. Have a great day:)
-
Hi girls,
Sorry I've been mia, things have been a little crazy here! Liam is lovely, though seems to have Lils aversion to sleep. Particularly at night. I have averaged about 4hrs broken sleep for the last few nights. Lily has been really good with Liam. She's very fascinated with him and gives him very gentle kisses and cuddles, it's sooo sweet. It made me cry the first time she did it I was so proud of her, even DH had a tear in his eyes! She does get jealous and is stand offish with me if I have him in my arms, which has been most of the time. She's still unsure of me with him, kwim??
She's been sick again with another ear infection and cold, very bad timing. We have to take her to the specialist to see about her ears.
Sorry for no personals, I haven't had time to catch up at all. And it will be a bit of a struggle to get on all that regularly, but I will try! I hope you are all well.
-
Welcome home Kellie. Congrats on a beautiful little boy. it sounds so cute with Lil and her cuddles. Hopefully you can get her ears sorted out. It might sort out her sleep issues too. Am not looking forward to the broken sleep again, but at the same time cant wait to meet this little girl. Shes getting me used to frequent night wake ups too:( Oh well!
Anyway better run, have a great weekend everyone.
-
Hello all....
Wow I feel like I havnt logged on in ages but it really isnt - I have tried three times and have had DH wipe it off a couple of times too GRRRR!!! Have just been busy packing I guess!
We are all well here - Beau has got loads of new teeth so has been a bit all over the place with his routine - still sleeping 2 and a half to 3 hrs a day!!! He must need it I guess....but he is staying up later and later - he knows all the sleep signals now and throws a tantie but I try and talk him around "lets go and cuddle teddy in bed" etc!!!
Wow I have been wondering about how you are going Kel - a bit jealous of having that new little person and all the excitement of it - not the sleep (or lack of it but). Glad Lil is being sweet to Liam but sorry her ears are bad - Dont worry about personals - just let us know you are ok and how everyone is!
Dis - Little Ben sounds like such a star - what a cutie with his "Ostich!" - I hope his bum has healed a bit and the doc could help with something for it. Do you think its an allergy to something?
Mel - Hey there - hope youre physio appt was helpful - Glad Olivia is doing well on her yeast free diet - hope she doesnt have to stay on it too - what are you feeding her for snacks and things? Beau has a lot of bread based snacks....At least you got a tiny bit of alone time with DH while you were away and glad you didnt come back and Olivia was, like, driving or something - remember last time she learnt how to walk!!
Kris - How is youre packing going? I am feeling under control I think - it changes from houir to hour tho - Beau is throwing real tanties for DVD's to be put on now - of an evening I will put it on in our room so he drops in and out of watching it - not like when its in the living room if we are in the kitchen he is glued KWIM? It worries me too but when summer comes....hopefully it will be easier to do fun outside stuff!!!
Ok the little monkey is climbing on me
Have a great weekend everyone!
-
Lol Jen- I forgot about that!!! No thankfully she wasnt driving when we came home but nothing suprises me. Actually she did learn to roll and roll and roll!!! Physio went well, I think the major thing is my lovely constipation.....one thing I dont like about this pregnancy!! I have to increase my water and exercise. Also have exercises to do (oopps havent done them) and have to get a stool for the toilet so I can put my feet up higher!!!
As with the yeast free diet, its not too hard beacuse she can still have wheat. What I have noticed is that some of the stuff with flavoring has yeast extract, so no chicken flavoured rice crackers. I give her rice crackers, water crackers, yeast free bread, yeast free fruit loaf. I think scones dont have yeast. So theres plenty out there...just costly. So I am going to borrow mums bread maker and do it myself.
DH left this morning for a week on the slopes of Mt Hotham. I just cried. Hes been away so much over the past 3 months. Lots of 'boys' weekends and working long hours. I know he realises whats going on and why I am so upset. He hasnt got any more trips on for the rest of the year. He always tells me to go away and he will look after Olivia, but I said I dont want to go because its my sacrifice that I make as a mother. With that and tears, he was feeling pretty awful yeasterday at breakfast, which was the first one we have had together in weeks.
Glad Beau is getting those teeth through. Its nice to have a break when they have finished. Olivia has the eye teeth and the back molars to come. Have fun packing. What date do you move????
Hello everyone else. I'm going to go to my mums for a few days but will try and jump on.
Happy Sunday:)
-
Hello...
Oh Mel - I would be po'ed too if DH was away so much - especially doing fun stuff on his own all the time. I feel bad when DH says "Is it ok if I.....?" and say "You dont have to ask!" But I am glad he does! Usually we pike out of what ever it is cause we are such homebodies the both of us....I dont think its the same thing if we go away from our bubs (as mums) is it? Its a funny thing - I only have done it the once when he was 6mths and DH booked me into that retreat in QLD but since then nothing - a day working here or there. I might go out for dinner with friends before I leave the city but I know DH will battle to get Beau to sleep so I feel guilty even doing that!
Thats great you have a lot of options for the yeast free stuff - Scones dont have yeast cause I make them all the time - its baking powder usually. I havnt tried B on rice crackers, I might give them a go as a little treat - I give him a cruskit with vege or a breadstick usually.
Oh no at the stool for the toilet - you poor thing! Maybe get one that Olivia can use for the sink when she is bigger? At least it will come on doubly handy later on....you can get the little collapsable white ones from woolies. We are movng on the 12th of Sept! 6 days after my 32nd birthday.
Us - We are ok - I have my period and am very moody this time around! Poor Dh he is copping it - "Why arent you packing?" "Why are you packing that???" "Dont pack -- I will do it in the week" "I can't do it ALL myself!!!" Poor bugger - I sound like a crazy person! Beau is good - still jamming his fingers in a different spot every day so I am using an SM-33, Breuer Teething relief (and Panadol when its really bad) ****tail. Apart from that he is pretty happy, seems to want to punch out some new words every day so I cant wait!!
I just washed and packed up in a neat box my breast pump and all the storage bottles and all his colic bottles and dummies and the baby bjorn ready for the next bubba......
OK I am babbling a bit
Have a great Sunday!:D

Hi!
Started writing a long post and left it too long and lost it so will be a brief one from me now...
We're all good though - just busy with deposit dramas for our house which means I spent most of today on the phone - grrr.
I'm going well - bubs is kicking away heaps and had a midwife appt last week and all is going well...
Boys are good - Gorgeous as ever - they're such great buddies - always giving each other hugs and kisses - especially if they hurt themselves - Louis even put a jumper over Dylan when he was asleep on the couch the other day...they're just such special boys...
Kel - Glad your home and going well!
Jen - I've done a bit of packing but not much...we don't have that much stuff! I must get a wriggle on soon though - only just over 4 weeks to go! Woohoo!
Mel - Sorry to hear you've been upset...I don't blame you though - my dh had a period of time like that and it just takes it's toll...glad to hear he'll be around more from now on though!
Must go to bed...sweet dreams everyone!

Hi girls,
long time no post....it's hard to find time at the moment, between having Liam feeding, trying to play with Lily, get a bit of sleep here and there and keep this place in some sort of order, well....there's just not enough time in the day, and this is with DH home, imagine when he's back at work, OMG!!!!! :o
We are all pretty good. I am very sleep deprived, I seriously don't know how I'm going to cope when DH goes back to work. Luckily he's home for another 4wks though! Lily is still waking 2 times a night for a bottle and Liam is up god knows how many times. Thoughlast night it was only 3, but once he was awake for 2hrs, feeding and burping and wriggling and feeding and burping and wriggling...it's so amazing how you forget all of this stuff! DH is taking responsibility for lil at night and in the morning, so its easier, but when i have to get up to both of them....eeeeeekkkkkkk!
Jen and Kris, I can't believe that you guys are almost moving! It seems so short a time that you were both dreading the dramas of house inspections! I hope everything goes smoothly for you both.
Ok gotta go, my times expired according to my little man!
-
Good to hear from you Kel! Gorgeous ticker picture of little Liam as well! I know it's soo hard now - just try and take each day (and hour) as it comes...Thats great that your dh is home for 4 weeks! I'm sure you'll manage when he goes back to work though!
-
Lol kristie- i never really nested either...just hoping it will happen this time!!!
great to hear from you Kel- glad dh is on 4 more weeks of leave. Sounds like hard work, making me a little nervous, but all the same am looking forward to it. Hope you manage to get some rest
OMG i cant find stove knob covers anywhere. Olivia keeps playing with them when i am cooking...not a great thing!

Yay Posts!!!!!
Great to hear form you Kel - enjoy this special time with DH home as you wont have it again and its a lovely time for your little family, how cute is Lil in that pic with Liam? What a big girl she is with her long hair! Hugs to getting up to both your babies:hug:
Kris - Hello fellow packer - beleive me I wish I didnt have as much stuff as I do! Your boys sound so lovely together - esp with the kisses and cuddles - they must melt your heart! 3 heart melterererers soon!!
Mel - I think the whole nesting thing would be fine if we only had to do it once IYKWIM? Not every hour, day , week, month of the year LOL! Like, enough already! If I pick up one more toy.....
Us - Beau has been super lovey dovey kissy man the past few days which I adore! He is tucked up in our bed with a teddy watching Max and Millie. I have co -erced DH into making tea so I better go check on him:clap:
Hi Disgirl - hope Bens rash is better now
Ps I just typed a long post and lost it so I am being brief out of annoyance!
-
I know Jen it was quiet in here for a bit. Sometimes I feel like I am just posting so we dont stay on the second page!
my house is a pig sty, but i'm not so worried coz i have no company after olivia goes to bed, so I'll just clean then...poor me!!! Little terror has just pulled clothes off the clothes horse too! i need nesting so I can get motivation to do things like dusting skirts, pulling out the fridge and cleaning behind it, cleaning the pantry, going through clothes. the day to day stuff, I just do.
Oh I so want dh home, so bored without him. And the king size bed is so empty:(
Well, should get off the net and relax with the moo!
