I hope you all have a nice relaxing night. I have been getting the worst ovary pains the last week, and I have been super crabby and tired, heres hoping that AF is on her way. I still havent had 1 yet. I tell you this will be the first time I will ever look forward to getting my period. No doubt after the first 1 I will be wondering why.

Well for once I have managed to have eaten my tea while the kids are still up. I have run a bath for them, so I better bath them and get them ready for bed. Then it is tidy, tidy, tidy. And then hopefully I will get to bed at a decent hr. Eithan had me up late last night and then was up for a feed again at 1am and then 6:30am. Plus he was unsettled during the night. Anna I dont know how you are managing with the late shift, goodluck with it all, the money , the money. Better go before the bath gets cold. Luv you all.

    Love

I think we're having subway - but you get let off tonight Jodi, the inlaws are in melb this arvo/night and are popping in on us inbetween engagements, so it's on them! Mmmm...

Hugs to those not getting enough sleep, and with thoughtless husbands.

No news from us really, but no news is good news! Except that we're borrowing my BIL's video camera at the moment, and I'm really loving it! Especially now that Riv's kinda mobile, just filming all the crazy nooks and crannies he ends up in!

Oh and Riv's whinging next to me on the couch, I swear, this second bottom tooth is taking for-fricking-ever to come through, but it's always bothering him! I hope all his teeth aren't like this!

nelle - Nina has 4 top teeth coming through which are causing her a lot of grief!! The 2 bottom teeth were great, didn't even know they were there. Hopefully it comes through for him quickly.

helen - fingers crossed for a quiet peaceful night for you. I hope you get lots of sleep.

I've just finished making Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms and you girls go and mention KFC.... now I want that instead.

Helen, I don't know how I am managing either... it's not like I even get a decent sleep when I go to bed, and Xander is just as whingy and clingy as ever during the day. The money, the money.

Now I know why my child has been a devil lately.

His top teeth are coming through I can see one, just a white line thats sharp sitting right under the surface. He's been clinging like a leech on me all afternoon. Im about ready to put him to bed.

Didnt end up having take away, trying to be good and not waste money on it so I made lasagne and chips instead.

    Hi Ladies

I have been lurking lately ...hope everyone had a fantastic mothers day - we deserve it that is for sure....

and to all the pregnant Mums - Jodi, AnnaT and Maz - hope the morning sickness fairy isn't paying you a visit.

and to all the d*ckhead DH's - go back to your caves until you are reformed!!!

We are all fine here - need I say it - but Rylee's sleep is up the poohole - I have phoned a sleep clinic this morning - they use controlled crying - I feel that I am at the end of my tether with her and don't know whether to do this approach or not.......but I don't know when Rylee will ever sleep through the night and the more I prolong it the harder it will be.....

Well I have Mums & bubs class this arvo so will be nice to have some adult company. DH ihs up in Malawi until Friday...poo gotta go, Rylee's got a dirty one!!

    hugs

Hey cool Megan, that makes James the same age as Annat's Jett! My River's a day younger!

Mmm Anna, your homemade food sounded YUMMY!!

Hugs Laurin, I kinda cc'd River, didn't follow any book or anything, would just wait 5 minutes or 10 minutes if he was crying and I knew nothing was wrong - so if he was fed, changed, warm, had bonjela, etc, then I'd count 10 mins then go in - unless the crying got intense, then I'd pop in. You need to do what you're comfortable, but if it's your sanity on the line, then something like that might be worth a shot? I'm sure you could always discuss your concerns with the sleep clinic and they could help you with that.

River took a few gos to get to sleep tonight, silly teeth. I ended up holding his hand for a while til he got sleepy enough to be okay with me leaving. Was very special.
I left the door open a bit too, so I think that helped. Poor kid. Really hope this tooth makes an entrance soon!

Well, I might try to sleep soon, had a late one last night.

    Hi Ellie,
James absolutely loves music. I have started taking him to gymbaroo, and he cries when we have to go home. He has also recently discovered squealing - VERY loud. He thinks it is so funny!!!
    Have a great day all

Morning girls! Well, I think I'm finished with the night shift (for now anyway) as I got everything I needed to do all finished last night. Not going to be as much money as I finished it all too quickly, but ahhhhhhhh sleep!!!!

    HAPPY 8 MONTHS ALEXANDER

Annie - The Paprika chicken was soo yummy, really glad I didn't buy KFC in the end. Such an easy dish to make as you just use a packet of mushroom soup for the base.

Laurin - Whenever I hear of Malawi I instantly think of the cichlids (fish) I used to breed for the local aquarium stores. Some gorgeous fish come out of that lake. I hope you get Rylee's sleep sorted soon, I don't have any advice as we are still having problems here too. I've made the decision tho to start CC'ing with him when he reaches 12 months if we are still having problems. Actually, I think a lot of our problem is related to the dummy as he never wants a feed when he wakes, just a "re-plug" and he's back to sleep.

Hi Ellsbells - My DS loves to "dance" as well... tho at the moment he is still only sitting, so does this weird bum shuffle thing to music.

Helen - Yayyyyyy that Leith helped out. How you feeling after sleep this morning? I think Scott is noticing just how exhausted I am lately as well, 'cos he is suddenly asking if he can help out in any way. Has your period shown up yet? I'm still waiting for mine as well.

Belle - Thanks for the chat yesterday, was great catching up.

Maz, AnnaT & Jodi - Hope you are all feeling well and the m/s fairy hasn't found you. I can't wait till I finally get pg.

Kellxx - How did you sleep with Jesse in the same room? They are such noisy sleepers aren't they!

Nelle - Any sign of that bottom toothy peg yet? Xander has got a top one coming through that is taking forever and causing him a bit of grief. He has bright red cheeks so it can't be too much longer (I hope!)

Shell and all the other sleep deprived mummies - How are you?

Well, that's all that are on this thread to reply to, so I'll leave it at that for now. Big hellos to Ambz (and the beautiful Savannah), Rach and all the other lovely ladies and bubs I missed.
