I would think it's a bit early for teeth but you just never know!! LOL! I wen through a stage where I thought Louis was teething and then he didn't get his first tooth until 12 1/2 months old!! LOL! In saying that though I think teeth can move around giving them a bit of discomfort even when they're not ready to break though yet...
Danni - Sorry to hear your not well - jump in the shower and try and massage the lump out...also rub on it when Masons feeding and you should get rid of it. Feed twice on the side you've got as well!
Went to the target sale and did some more shopping. Also took Louis to Gymbaroo which he had a ball with...little cheeky won't got to sleep now though...
Danni- hope you're feeling better. I had a blocked duct a while back and did what Kristie advised, even though it really hurt to do it.
Melissa- I'm not sure about teeth really, but it does seem early. Hazel dribbles a lot and has rosy cheeks but I think that's her being warm and the weather being cold, at least I hope that's all it is.
Kris- sounds like you've been a busy girl! Well done on getting back to the gym, it's hard to feel motivated to get there some days but you always feel so good when you do!
Kellie- LOL at your comments about the English weather- I think it's a bit warmer here in Brissy than further south! I wouldn't have lasted 7 years over there if it was FREEZING in the summer. Yay on your brilliant nights' sleep!
Caro- I do hope you've recovered your voice!
Kaz- Boo to budgets! We can never manage to stick to them....probably should learn to one of these days.
Erin- Hazel has also discovered how to hold a toy in the last couple of days, and how to bash herself in the head with it. She also figured out how to whack the toys on her baby gym and has gone into 00 sleep suits in the last two days! It's just crazy how quickly they grow and change isn't it the little treasures.
Well, had a mad morning, had a house inspection (grrrrr to renting!) and then a visit from Mum and my Grandparents for lunch. At least I had a spotless house and it was good to have a proper clean, the sort you only do when absolutely necessary. I then spent a blissful two hours in the sun in the front garden with Hazel dozing and feeding in her sling, a nice coffee and a good book. Love it! We've got another parent info talk at the Health Clinic tomorrow, this time on sleeping and settling. As I think I said before I will take it all with a grain of salt if they push controlled crying or anything. I jsut got Pinky's book 'Sleeping Like A Baby', I love that woman, and it makes me feel so happy and confident with the gentle way I am parenting Hazel. I've got a job interview next week, looking after a 5 year old girl a few afternoons a week. They actually see Hazel as a bonus as apparently the little girl loves babies! The Mumsounded great and we ended up chatting for nearly an hour on the phone last night, seems like we have a similar attitude towards parenting and life in general. It sound pretty promising and would be a nice way to ease myself back into it, with the option of finding another job to fill up my week as Hazel gets bigger and is less full on. Fingers crossed.
Big hugs for all you fantastic mothers and your amazing, miraculous, beautiful bubbas X
