well i went and saw the LC, to try and find out whats worng with my left side , but i got advice that just didnt feel right .. she watched me feed g lying down and she said that the clicking sounds that she makes were her way of coping with my flow ...
and she also said that the pain and trouble i have with my nipple is just "something i have " and told me to take nurofen !!!!
AND that i should not co sleep , and that if g is fed and clean i should let her cry for 20mins minimum , so she can learn to fall asleep on her own , and that i should feed every 2 hrs ...she did see the taurma on my nipple but never really did anything about it , i mentioned the pain factor soo many times , in the end she made me feel like i was making a big deal out of nothing and definatley made it clear i was wasting her time ...
i felt like crap when i left .. i thought i was doing fine as a mum , i thought co sleeping was natural and so was attending to your baby when she cries ..
i admit that she needs to feed less often to give me a break , but why did the advice feel wrong to me .. i think that i will find another LC who has the same beliefs as me ...
but as for g's colic (which is pretty bad) im going to try cutting out things of my diet .. dairy should be the 1st to go , but its a big part of my diet ... (but i reckon its a big part of her colic too )
im just babbling on here , im a bit confused about the breastfeeding advice ...
anyway its dinnertime , and nixon has a fever .. its going to be an interesting night ..

.
