    good morning
lea- thanks for the advice our CHN is about 60 and i dont think she has even had children so i find it very hard to take her advice so its nice to talk with people who have lived it not just observed it
I too was so sure i would be able to bf Lucy but i only lasted 1 week!you've done well to get this far. i felt like the biggest faliure in the world but 1 solid week of bawling my eyes out was enough for me...mabye next time
ive put lucy back on normal formula the AR formula was still bunging her up but she seems to be ok now only spewing if she hasnt burped or if ive just had a shower but at least she can poo now.
hope everyone has a good day

Lea - so sorry to hear that you are having b/f problems ... i hope that you can sort something out that works for you and you feel comfortable with. Is there any way you can comp feed Gab like b/f during the day and bottle at night ? I give Ali night bottle and use the tommee tippee ones that are shaped exactly like a nipple so she doesnt get too confsused ... then again thats hard if she wont take a bottle ... I hope that you can find someone to help and that actually listens to you and not just focussing on the boobs ... i agree that sometimes they are too focussed on boobs and forget that they are attached to mums and we have feelings .... But I think you have done amazingly to keep persisting to this point - it is not the easiest thing in the world and you should be applauding yourself for coming so far hun ... and achieveing so much by b/f Gab ..

Tasha - I agree with Lea about setting things too strict .. I am lucky in that Ali sleeps anywhere but when I stick to cot sleeps during the day she happily goes off to sleep and knows it is sleep time but that has only been the past 2-3 weeks before that I pretty much let her sleep wherever so I could get peace and she could have a rest even if only for 40 mins or so at a time .. now though I am more focused on the cot sleeps and bassinette at night and dont let her sleep in the lounge room only because she is so alert and more distracted ... just go with your own instinct ...

My folks are back from Tassie today so are coming over for dinner tonight and my brother is up from Melbourne and staying the weekend with us so we have visitors and my birthday lunch tomorrow so happy to have a bit of an indulgent weekend .... YAY !!!!

Hope everyone is having a good day
