Milly PML oh no what are the chances of that happening 3 times thast it now it wont happen again thanks for the advice by the way I havent been pushing the spoon feeds at all im glad now I was a bit worried about it but after what you were saying and I read some great information on here. Im feeling better about it Ill offer it and if she has a bit she has a bit Im happy with that. My little girl just wnats to take her time I think. MY DS2 was eating a pear and she went mad for it so I gave her a half to suck she liked that. I was up with her last night again she didnt cry that much well not for two hours solid she just kept waking up lots. I walked and rocked her the first time it was so funny, I was trying to lie down in the bed with her in my arms and not wake her. I was rocking my self side to side, LOL worked though. the second time I had to get up with her she fell back asleep as soon as i stood and rocked her so I put her in her pram and she slept for a while I dont know how long inbetween I should have watched the time. I think it might be wind I just have a feeling thats what it is and she stretches out and arches her back and kinda squeals. she now has a cold and sticky eyes so that aint helping.

*charmalea* thats great that it all went well, Im so glad her hip is ok good things come in small parcels, hope you feel alot better about it all now. you poor thing on the baby sitting in time hun I am too afraid to do it as Ild say ill get a phone call as . Im miles away from goal yet have 1 stone and 9 pounds to get to my first goal for the end of May then on to the next goal im taking it slowly.

Danielle_M Thanks I never thought of a growth spurt at all hope this time goes quickly for you and look onwards and upwards as they say. ooh and thats so cute with the high 5

thanks girls for all the advice ((((HUGS))))

    Hi Girls,
I have been luking around and catching up on whats been happening.
I won't go into personals now because i'll be here FOREVER! LOL I will come back later to do these though, Don't worry... i won't leave you all out LOL

So an update to where we are up to.
I can't believe Jorja is 7 months old.
Shes been in FDC since 5 months and Loving it, and hate to admit it, but i have enjoyed being back at work too! (this doesn't make me a bad mum does it, enjoying my time away from her while i'm at work... )
Shes got 3 nearly 4 teeth. The first two we had problems but nothing compared to the last 1 and this one coming through now. For a child who is always so placid, i've NEVER had her scream the house down like she is now!! Oh the joys LOL my poor bubba princess.

Shes been eating solids now since 4.5 - 5 months. Shes been loving it! We've got vegemite toast happening, vegies with meat, fruit etc.

Shes been crawling now for some time (probably for abou 6 weeks now) into EVERTTHING!! I need to go and get another safety gate for our bathroom. Everytime i turn around she doing something else she shouldn't be LOL. Shes now pulling herself up on furniture, so i'm guessing it's not going to be log before shes walking.

My gorgeous little bubba is growing up!!

Can't believe it's only 5 months now till i get married!!!! OMG I'm so excited and I can't wait!! I'e picked out my dress, HOT PINK! and the girls have thier dresses which are green. Booked the celebrant today so plans are well and truely on the way... SOOOO Excited!!!!

We are moving in house about 6 weeks. Had issues with the real estate here, but our next door neighbours are moving at the end of may so we are hoping we can just move next door, the house is nicer than ours and the same amount of rent...SO FINGERS CROSSED....

Umm.... can't think of much else.
Jorja has been having a foot fetish going on... she will find any pair of shoes, regardless of where they are and eat them. i even found her pulling shoes out of the nappy bag and eating them. And she plays with our feet if we are sitting on the lounge and shes on the floor, plays with our toes... got her starting young.... i can see i'll be spending lots of $$$ on shoes over the years LOL

We are hoping to start to TTC for number 2 at the end of the year, so a litle excited about that too!

Hope everyones Bubs are doing well and i'll be back later to write personal

PS i couldn't get on BB all day yesterday either!! Was having withdrawals!

    Lots of hugs
    xxx

Wow, everyone is soooo quiet....where are you all??? HOW are you all?? I hope all is well with everyone....

Well, we just returned from 2wks away in Qld. Visited DH's family in Maryborough for a week, then down to Surfers Paradise for a week. It was good to be away together. It was good to catch up with DH's family too. We went to his brother's wedding. It was the first time in about 9yrs or so that they had all been together. And the first time we had met some of our nephews in person. And vice versa for them meeting our kids. They all fell in love with Lily. She is the only girl in a huge line of boys in their families ( DH is one of three boys, his dad is one of three boys and his two brothers both have three boys each too.) She charmed the pants off all of them!! But she is pretty damn cute!( No mummy bias there, I swear!) We then went down to Surfers Paradise for a week too and it was lovely. Beach or pool every day, no time constraints just us all together, bliss!
I'm DESPERATE for sleep. Even after a holiday....I feel so knackered for some reason. I just can't seem to catch up on sleep. I managed to get both kids asleep at the same time today and slept with them for 45mins. But now I'm ready for bed again! I am a bit sick, I think I might have a chest infection, but still...And the kids are still sleeping pretty badly. Liam is up for a feed 3-4hrly all night, and Lil is up usually twice a night. At the momnet we're awake at 5am. Did I mention I HATE daylight savings?? Same thing happened last year. Lily seems to have such a hard time changing her body clock back to the right time. So now we are up at 5am most mornings, if not it's 5.30am......definately not later than 6. I'm so not a morning person. Liam is ok and will sleep til 7am if I can stay in bed with him and snuggle if not he's up at 6-630am.

My house looks like a bomb has hit it....I have clothes everywhere too, they are all folded and in piles around the house from when we went away. I did the 6 loads of washing before we left to go away then left all of the clothes around the house once I had taken what I wanted. I though it would be ok since it was all clean and folded... Now I'm faced with the reality of having to sort it out into the right piles and pack it all away! I hate clothes washing! And as soon as we got home yesterday Lil and Liam went on a search and destroy mission to empty every single toy they could find onto the floor. I picked them all up last night but they are all out again today. I think they missed their toys!!
Well, Lily had her 2nd birthday a few weeks ago. We got to spend it with DH's family. We had a little party here with my family, I made some little flower and dragonfly cupcakes. Then for her actual birthday, I made a heart cake and some little cream filled butterfly cupcakes for the kids. She loved it. She has gotten so much soooo many toys and clothes!! My little flat is toooo small. We need a house just to fit in the otys! I dread Liams first birthday...where will I put his pressies????
Liam is just being absolutely gorgeous. He's very attached to me and I can feel his littel eye peircing into me whenever I'm in the room and not holding him. If I come too close to him, he tries to leap into my arms! He's such a happy little thing and is always smiling. He's cruising around furniture and stuff, though I'm not sure he'll be walking anytime soon. He's still a bit wobbly on his feet. That's fine with me....he gets around quickly enough now let alone when he starts walking!! He has 4 teeth and is working on his 5th and 6th! He's eating like a trojan, he loves his food and is a very capable eater. He will munch on anything and Lily is always ready to share her food with him. I'm always finding him with something in his mouth which I haven't fed him, LOL! He's still a booby monster too though, with the amount he eats (both food and booby) anyone would think he'd be a big rolly polly but he's only 8.5kg's. Though he is tall. so maybe he's stretching out, instead of getting rollier!!
Well thats about it for now. I hope everyone is well!

    hey all !

    like the namechange Tegam!!

well Gabriella is going OK .. sitll in the lower range of everytihng and her "graph" has started to plauteau (yes , i know not to follow graphs etc ..) but the CHN and the PEAD (i go private now, sooo much better than public when it comes to baby care!) are so helpful , but she only gets a few gms of weight on each visit ... shes not under wght or anything , shes just flat lining on it at the moment .. she is 7.5 kgs .. we have been told to give more claories in her diet , but shes not the biggest solids eater ... kinda like a sparrow ... but is on the boob alot , so at least shes getting nutrition ..

we got a refferal to ellen barron centre , i hope i get in soon , she feeds about 5-7 times a night and will not settle unless she gets fed .. if not she will secream and scream !!!

some one told me to read Tizzie Hall - I have heard nasty things about her book but cuirosity got the better of me and i borrowed it from the libary and OMGOSH its like boot camp just to get a baby to sleep .. her routine was :
    BF@7
    solids @8
    sleep@9
    BF @11
    solids @12
    sleep@1
    BF @ 3
    dinner @5.20
    bed @ 7

sounds OK and normal ... and i gave it a go and stuck to the routine and Gabs fell asleep on her own and didnt cry bot times ... but i caved and my boobs were full and i gave her a BF .. and i thought FU tizzie ... im not a routine person

seeing as i knew night time would be hard and it says to let them "protest" for 18 mins before going into them !!! ... no way ... not my little baby ..

but she cat naps .. so KEL , my house is a bloody mess too !!!!!!!!

anyway .. she is properly crawling and can pull herself up to standing in her cot !!!

    no teeth yet !!

    Hi girls.

Still no teeth for Tobias LOL But he is cruising around the furniture quite well now & stands in his cot when he wakes up & calls out mumma til I come in hahaha. He's not saying anything else yet, I know I shouldn't compare & I'm really not but I remember Brianna was saying mumma at 6 months & dadda at 8 months hmmmmm I guess he'll really start talking more soon!
He's been having a bit of trouble getting off to sleep at night time lately & I've been rocking him... I remember it was around 8 months I did the same with DD & she went back into her routine after it passed... hoping the same for Tobias!!!
DH has been in bed for 2 weeks with a bad back. Ended up in hospital Monday last week & is now on tablet form norphine for the pain. I'm so worn out looking after him full time... I have to do everything for him & have no help with anything (not that he was much help anyway but just something as simple as leaving Tobias home while I run out to grab something at the shops etc, DH cant look after him so I have to take him everywhere) So I'm just a bit exhausted & a bit overwhelmed looking at all the housework I have to catch up on!!!

DD turned 4 yesterday... she's so cute!! But last night we ended up at the medical centre... she has an ear infection so now she's on anti biotics for that.

I think thats about all happening here. Good to catch up on what you're all doing

    I hope everyones well xxx

We're going through a "wonder week" here. I'm' exhausted!

Jorja is crawling properly and pulling herself up to everything. She is trying hard to walk along the lounges but keeps falling down. Very cute to see her try though.

Got 4 teeth happening and maybe another 1 or 2.. not sure they seem to come through in twos.

Had my mum here all week which has been great especially since Jorja has been such a handful this week. And its been great having someone else to do my housework for me.

Wedding plans coming along, dress is ordered and i'm doing Tony Fergson to tyr and lose just a little bit of that extra weight. i have until my last dress fitting in august when any alterations need to be done.

    I'm sooo excited.. i can't wait!!!

    Hello everyone!

We are all well here, My DD turned 5 yesterday (just to one up you Danielle LOL)... Had a lovely time last weekend as DH was away yesterday. I guess we wont be able to do that for much longer but it worked for everyone to move it

Thomas has one tooth almost two, the bottom middle ones. He's been crawling for months and its been a month since he stood but its like "Ive done that, i dont need to do it again" So i think we are a while off cruzing LOL.

Danielle Thomas was getting hard to get off to sleep to at night and i started to pat him, and then realised he was just getting over tired (being the third child in bed routeen) so i have just started to put him to bed a lot earlier and that solved the hassles....just and idea.

Glad you got up to QLD Kel, beautiful weather up here still! Glad you got to show off the kids. HOW EXCITING Lilly is TWO, congratulatiosn bubba girl! Welcome the 2's

All the kids sound so cute! more personals later DS is away...

OH and good news DH has agreed to number FOUR (now just have to decide if im sure and when)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi girlies!

Where is everyone?? I hope you are all well.

Well we have all been sick here I have a tummy bug at the mo, soooo yuck! DH had it the other day, but only for the day, here I am 2 days later after having my head in the loo all day yesterday, I have been on it all day and still can't get off it! Luckily the kids haven't had that (knock on wood!!) but Lily has had a cold and snotty nose for aaagggeees! It just won't go away. Thankfully Liam hasn't had it and I'm hoping he doesn't get it!

Milly, yep, my beautiful girl is two. I can't believe it. I still feel like it was just yesterday that she was born! The time has flown sooo fast.
Yay, that your DH agreed to one more bub! You must be so excited! Though it would be a big decision!

Well, that's about it for now. I hope everyone has a wonderful mothers day and gets spoilt!

    Hey girls...
    Heaps been happenign here.
Getting all wedding plans sorted... four months to go... SOOO excited!!!

Jorja has been a nightmare child this last week. (been in other threads...not sleeping screaming, not eating) who knows. i can see her two front teeth have cut through so maybe thats what its been. I was thinking also some seperation anxiety... she just screams if we're not in the room with her or if you walk out of the room but shes totally fine when we drop her at day care..hmmm
Shes not sleeping properly either (won't go into too much details - other threads), not eating etc... don't know. Last night I was so exhausted after 3 straight hours i gave her to DF and said "take her NOW. I don't want to look at her, talk to her, hear her or hold her" I was crying because i wasn't coping with it!!! I just wish she'd sleep for longer than 5 mins at a time... oh well.. the joys of parent hood.

So...we are up to 6 teeth now, walking along furniture, taking steps while pushing her trolly thing and saying "ma ma", "da da" and "bub bub bub""...all of which she chooses to do in the middle of the night while standing on the side of the cot... she doesn't always want you.. just talks and sings and carries on.. cute and funny... but OMG... go to sleep!!! LOL

Hope everyone is well and thier bubbas as well.
I really should check this more often.. i've missed soo much!

awww Jen, it can be a night mare sometimes hey .. to you .. i have to do that ... she be all up in my face and then suddenly i crack it and give her to DH .. untill i calm down .. by that time he has worked magic and got her to sleep !!

came home from sleep scholl on saturaday ... and now gabs is a different girl !! she sleeps from 7 - 5 am then has a feed then back down untill 7.30-8am ... i just her her wake then .. so i'll have to fetch her in a sec .. she is sooo much happier and she is BF less and eating more .. so instead of 10 feeds a day she is down to 4-5 and is actually easting solids !! its been great and she has put on weight finally and now looks like a 8mth old not a 6mth old !!!

the 1st night was hard to hear her cry , so i patted her to sleep .. after the 2 (!!!! yes 2 sleeps OMGosh) she got the hang of it and it took under 10mins every time to settle and go to sleep .. by the end of the week she was able to be put to bed and settle in less than 7 mins .. and now .. she knows .. i put her to bed and she'll find her spot and off she goes .. not a peep out of her ..

its wonderful .. i have my life back !!! yay .. but i do miss co sleeping .. but not the 6-8 nightly feeds .. the night before we went in she fed 10 (!!!...) times ... i counted ..

having all this sleep has changed her , i nave noticed her development has improved ... she now plays peek a boo .. and its sooooo cute !!!

    havea great day ladiezzz
