    Hey folks - just a quickie cause it's been a full-on day!
I'm so loving being a mum, I never thought I'd feel this happy being a mum
Rach - I know exactly what you mean! I was a bit apprehensive about being a mum but I'm loving it! Love my little girl she's so awesome.
MM - for a second I thought the same thing about the 73/76 - cause most people put their age there for a second I thought crikey aren't they a bit old to be having kids! But of course I realised pretty quickly especially since I was born the same year as you!
Kel - my dad is 18 years older than his wife, who is only 12 years older than me, and they have been married for 18 years.. their youngest kid is 22 years younger than me and only 12 years older than Beth, and my dad's oldest is 37, I'm # 2 of 5 - you can get really confused hanging out with my family!
big wave to Squidipa, Vic, Mel, MT, sash, kel and everyone else!

    Hey Everyone,

Every time I went to post today I got distracted (or fell asleep!! ) so the day has kinda got away from me. So hopefully I will be back tomorrow to do a better post, but I do have a full day tomorrow so maybe not.

Jett has been an absolute angel all day today, it seems like I suddenly have a different kid. Mind you he has never been that bad in the first place!

Oh well, gonna get to bed before I have to get up to take the car for it's first service tomorrow morning.

    Goodnight!

hehehe Pixie, if people REALLY want to know how old I am, they can figure it out LOL!

MT - I can so understand about getting distracted!! That happens to me every time I go to do housework LOL!

I realised in the shower this morning that I forgot to add NZ to our half way meet up!! Sorry Rachel!!

Anyway, gotta change these two munchkins - they BOTH decided to fill their BRAND NEW NAPPIES within half an hour of having them on! Oh well, I guess that's what nappies are there for!

I forgot to add NZ to our half way meet up!!
mm... so what i'm hearing is, we're going on a cruise halfway between aust and NZ

As for ages, Shel is May 1981 and I am September 1986, so 5 years 4 months between us. Theres 6 years between my mum and dad (dad is older).

Lol, I had some Jehovahs Witness people come to the door yesterday, an old Italian couple. Gee they were lovely, Jazz smiled at them the whole time and the lady smothered Jazzy's head with kisses (she asked first of course). I took their information thing, even though I am Buddhist so not really interested. Well, they were very nice so I respect that, they weren't pushy at all. I'd like to adopt them actually LOL they were so lovely!

Well we've had some shocker nights, back to 1am and 5am feeds + playtime, and a velcro baby who'll only sleep on me during the day. Fun fun fun, but she was 12 weeks yesterday, and around this time is a 'wonder week' so I'll just remind myself she's going through some changes and it'll settle soon. For some reason though night wake ups aren't as horrendous as they were, I mean its still hard getting out of my nice comfy bed lol but I'm not as trashed in the morning. Guess thats a pretty good thing.

Oooooooooo, yesterday I took a photo of Shel lol it is titled "Domesticated". LOL! I was washing up, and Jazz started crying so Shel picked her up and took her for a walk round the backyard. I looked up from doing the dishes to see Shel holding Jazz AND taking the nappies off the line! I had to get a photo so people would believe me I'll put it up eventually

Hi to everyone I have missed, am trying to do 3 million thigs at once right now (including getting $85 back from a dodgy eBay seller.. yeah its not a fortune but its a weeks worth of groceries, and especially since I didn't get my item eBay can't help either because they went and deregistered the seller... why the f--- do that? If they're dodgy then deal with it and help us get our money back don't just kick them off and say "tough sh-t" to us buyers )

Leasha ~ I just had an almost exact same situation. Ebay deregistered a seller that I had bought some of my wedding jewellery from before I had even got the item! I payed via paypal, so if you go to paypal you can lodge a dispute. Paypal covers you for up to $20000 so you should be fine if you paid via that way.
I did get my item though, the day AFTER I lodged the claim! - and i withdraw the dispute.
    Hope that helps!
Yay for Shel being 'Domesticated'! Congrats! Can;t wait to see the pic!

Squidipa ~ Good luck today hunny with weigh in. Even if it isn't as big as Josiah's last weight gain, anything in the upwards direction is a plus! I'll be thinking of you!

MM ~ Funny, I seem to get distracted at 'particular' times during the day. Like washing up time, or vacuuming time, or folding clothes time...... LMAO

Pixie ~ Was doing the math in my head about all those age gaps but guess what? Got distracted! ROFLMAO tee hee

    Hey folks
Yucky weather today so we won't be going anywhere. I don't mind, I think I could use a nap at some point - two wake ups last night
I know what you mean about distraction - what was I going to say?
Squidipa congratulations on the weight gain! I hope it keeps up!
Leash what a bummer about Ebay.... it seems to have gone downhill over the last year or so.
Mel & MM - I took some photos of Beth in her itti bittis this morning - so cute... will post it when I figure out how to use the SD card reader on my monitor
MM = my dad has five children with 25 years between the eldest and youngest!
hope you all have a good day.... maybe i'll get some more housework done.... if I don't get distracted...

Squidipa - GL with weigh in hun

Leash - bummer about that ebay seller ... I agree, ebay should do something to help compensate the buyers!

Can't wait to see that photo of Shel, LOL!

Yeah, we are back to night feeds as well ... I got used to sleeping through the night and now I wake up feeling like crap in the mornings LOL. Oh well, he's a growing boy ...

hehehe the cruise sounds like a beautiful idea!

I've just uploaded some photos of my boys in MCN!! And some of Kaliah in her school uniform ... sad but exciting at the same time!

    eta:
CM4E - My aunty is only 7 years older than me, so her kids aren't all that much older than mine! LOL I think all of the "grandkids" in our family (my mums and her sisters kids) span across some 20 odd years!

    Morning lovurlees..

MY GOD.. what a rough night *yawn*

    Anyhoo -

Squidipa - congrats on posting first Good luck on the weigh in. Fingers crossed for a good gain!!

MM - OMG you old fart And in the vein on the simpsons... bed goes up.. bed goes down.. you don't make friends with salad... AND YES - as soon as I get a new nappy on them - they fill it with delightfulness for me to clean... dunno what it is..

Kell - hope your DF had a good time at Slipknot.. its been soooo long since I went to a concert. think the last one was when when DS was about 4 months old and Niners were in town .. woohoo!!!

Rach - 8kg huh.. hmm.. I'll have to check DS's book to see how big he was cos he gained weight really quickly and then evened out and stayed at 11kg for months and months and months. He's only 12.5kg now, which is normal. And yay on the good traveller... Miss M is pretty good in the car, would rather take her than DS anyday..lol

Pixie chick- yup you've confused me with your family!!! LOL Sounds a lot like my BF's family actually (well she used to be my BF.. now.. I dunno... its in limbo somewhere.. )

MT - Yay for Jett being an angel.. gotta love those days!!!!! Miss M is a pretty good baby, but I am comparing her to her brother who was, and still is... challenging...

Leash - thats disgusting of ebay.. they should be doing more to help. And yay for Shel being domesticated.. I could never get DH doing two things at once.. my god.. that would be farrrrr too difficult for him.

Well yes.. me tired... DH is tired... DS is sleeping (I think) he is still not well.. 3rd day of high temps so going to take him to the doc today me thinks!!! Ohhh just heard a bump, I'd say the boy is NOT sleeping...

Talk about clingy babies - its not the 12 week old - its the 21 month old - and MY GOD.. 12.5kg is soooo heavy after a few hours of lugging him around.. what the hell is he doing in that bedroom!!?? Lordy lordy.. better go investigate!!!!!

ETA - took me so long to post that first bit - Squidipa - yay for 80gm that is excellent!!!!!! MM - am off to investigate these pics!!
