Not really in a personals mood today. Some of you have probably seen the post I made about craniostenosis. I guess that probably explains my mood a bit lately, I'm worrying...
She's been weighed etc, 6.8kg, 64cm, but her head has only grown .5cm in a month, and its getting more and more lumpy and bumpy... Going back to the dr tomorrow, and will need to have an x-ray and I think he said CT scan because thats the only way they can see if the sutures have actually closed or not (not sure why you can't see that in an x-ray...?).
Anyway, got to go, am trying to study, though its not really working. Gotta get of BB!

Hi all!!
Finally got my butt into gear and took Veygas to the baby clinic today ... despite the fact that they have the most ridiculous time schedule - between 11am and 12pm every Thursday! Sheesh, Veygas is usually asleep at that time, but today, cause he was awake, I decided to go ... So he is now:
Weight: 7.75kg (up nearly 4kg from birth)
Length: 62cm (up 12cm)
HC: 44cm (up 8cm)
It was a different nurse than i usually see too, and she was concerned that he jumped from the 75th to the 95th weight percentile and the 75th to the 90th HC percentile ... mind you, the last time he was checked was over 2 months ago!
I also found out that he has eczema - this funky rash had started to appear behind his ears and knees (and by funky I mean yuck and weeping etc) She said I also have to watch out for heat rashes .... I think someone else was talking about eczema in here????But yeah, he has also been getting a little blotchy on his chest and just under his chin ... might seek out a naturopath - WDYR?
So hmmmmm this poor little tike has gotten the rough end of the stick, methinks!
Anyways, I have a 2.5yo harassing me for some lunch so I better go!

BTW just a small vent we still havnt got our birth cert yet rang them and they said it was sent on 22nd oct so now i have to do a stat dec and get them to re send it GRRRR have u all got yours yet???

hello mine arrived today I was going to call them. They gave her a blue official one I always thought they gave out blue for boys and red for girls

We got ours a while ago, but we are in NSW ... also here, everyone gets blue official ones ...

I have been crazy busy the last few days, lots of work, playgroups and busy time with little miss N, also went to watch the soccer in Elder Park last night (Adelaide United in the Asian Cup) it was freezing yet tonight is really warm - grrr!!
We have another weigh in tomorrow *SIGHS LOUDLY* better be the last for a while, unless I chose to do it myself!!
Squidipa - Josh and Nakita were the same weight great number 4650, I am sure he will take off now!!! Your perserverance has really paid off, huge Congratulations to you!!!
I finally got my invoicing done too YAY!!! Now just to wait for them to get paid!
Oh yeah and DH has been wonderful the last few days, he is making a huge effort and I really appreciate it, doing things without being asked and trying to help a lot more

It is great being able to take bubs to work Kel!! I am finding that we are more settled at home, but we still go in when I need to for meetings or other bits and pieces.
What a huge walk you did Pixie!!! And only one break, oh big hugs for the sunburn - actually lucky it's a cyber hug otherwise it will make it worse!!!!

Nakita finally poo'd tonight!!! She had done one for 3 or 4 days - I actually lost count!! The last one I clearly remembered was Saturday night, mostly cos when I went to change her it went all up her back when I put her on the mat and I had to put her in the bath!! And on the way she pee'd all over me and the floor (lucky it was on the tiles!!)
Tonights was army green - eeek!!! Hers are usually the bf yellowy colour, hopefully it is just cos it had been a few days, but it was very liquidy, will see what happens over the next few days! I was too scare to put cloth on her and lucky I didn't as there is no way it would have contained it when it came!!!
Well I need to get the washing off the line, do a few dishes and get things organised for Nakita's dream feed.
I won't be on much tomorrow, as after the weigh in, we are going to see a friend who is about 30 weeks and has a little girl who is about to turn 2!! I am making a lasagne to take over for her.

[B]so did josh poo at 11.30 he did and today was day 4 he always poo's on day 4 or 5 and its normally big and at this time of night. I honestly dont know how you manage to do sooo much vic with work home and personal and life and of course being a mom wow your amazing.
I could hard to express today my milk has dropped off a bit from yesterday oh bum hope it picks up ill weigh josh tomorrow morning to make sure he hasn't lost weight because of it, GOOD LUCK on your weigh in cant wait to hear results im lucky i have my own baby scale at home yay!!.
i hope so he has only grown 7 cm's since birth so i am worried here.

I thought they gave you different colours for boys and girls cos mine is red and DF's is blueIf i can get through rocky times i know you can sweet just remember a burden shared is halfed and we are ALL here sweet. Do you have good family support??? I SOOOOOO hope you do!!

Hi Squidipa, we got our birth certificate a few days ago (ours is blue too). About bloody time too! Bugger about the runaround, BDM can be so annoying with that!

Morning folks!
Well, a bit of news here .... the Bear bought a car yesterday!It's a new Jeep Wrangler, and it's in Melbourne so we have to go to Melbourne to pick it up! So I think I will go a day earlier with Beth to catch up with some friends (and any BB Melbourne girls who want to meet up!) and organise the paperwork. Then we will drive home over the weekend (and possibly pop in to visit people who might be on the way).
Also I asked my stepmum last night if she can look after Beth when I go back to work and she would love to so that is pretty much organised.
