    Hi everyone!!!

I have been having one hell of a week!! Be prepared for a very self indulgent post!!!

All is great with Shane- weighed him the other day and he has more than doubled his birth weight in 3 months- (went from 2830- to 6kg) he is smiling- playing all good..

My dramas have been mainly financial which have then led to the dreaded housing situation.. basically we have fallen behind in our rent, DH took some time off when DS was born- which we had accounted for-except that he ended up having more time off then planned- (we are both guilty for that- i didnt want him to go back, and neither did he... why cant we both be SAHP... um well we discovered coz we need money to live!!! )So he organised work as soon as things got a bit hairy scary and it was all good for about a week- then the work went quiet.... for like three weeks when we REALLY needed money to not only catch up- but stay a float and so we have just gotten further and further behind. Now we were lucky enought that we live on a property whwre DH could work for our rent- which was ok coz for some time it meant at least rent was covered but it didnt help with bills... and then things went downhill there coz the landlord got all "power happy" and literally started telling us what we could and couldnt do in our house- to go so far as to say i wasnt ALLOWED to watch television (solor power issues) so blah blah blah enough was enough we couldnt afford to live where we were- and it was time to move on.....

So we spent the last week looking for a house in... yes THE SUNSHINE COAST!!!! LOL Mel your constant hints to MM must have subconciously got into my head!!

HOWEVER... Other circumstances have put that idea to an end (another looong and very sad story- our best friends who live up there are sadly splitting and after a week of being in the same town and being in the middle- we decided it was best for us NOT to move there permanently as it was just too hard being friends with them both in the same town- not good)

SOOOOO we came home and had a chat with a good friend who has a house in victoria that is empty so we are moving there!! Its going to be a big move but it will be worth it- very cheap rent and DH should find it easy to find work.

So i will be MIA for a few weeks at least while we sort ourselves out and get down there then i will be back!!

Sorry again that this is an all about me post- but you girls chat way too much to catch up on all the posts i have missed!! lol

    Take care!!

Ok people, I'm gonna attempt to catch up! LOL!

SB - Mel's hints must have affected you! hehehe but MT is down in Victoria, and I think she's the only one in this group .... bummer about all the probs you've had though

Squidipa - woohoo for sticking to your guns with the paed!
thanks everywhere we go ppl say wow he is small is he 6 or 8 weeks old they get blown away at how old he is and his size.
I get the opposite, because Veygas looks so big when I'm holding him but I am only little!!

MT - yay for the weight gain!!

Mel - is Aricyn picking his nose in your ticker pic????? You are such a bad influence on me woman!!! hehehehehehe I should get your number - I don't think we'd EVER get off the phone! LOL!

Vic - wooohooo for the scales! How was your dress fitting? Wow solids soon .... I've been told to wait a bit longer with Master V cause of the eczema, we don't want to exacerbate it!

Funny, lots of people say how much Master V is like DD and how much the other 2 boys are alike, and we have had the most probs with DD and Master V!!! DD didn't start solids til she was about 8 or 9 months (not for want of trying mind you!) She just wasn't interested! BUT both of them have been the better sleepers too! Go figure!

Pixie - Veygas prefers to go from lying down straight to standing (with help of course!!LOL) He has also started wriggling out of his wrap and the sheets in bed!! Doesn't matter how tightly I wrap him, he gets out - a right little Houdini!! hehehe

Ah well, Ollie is going to bed, so I think I should take this opportunity to put Khaemie to bed! And as much as I am feeling tired, I doubt I'll get to sleep before 1.30am - damn imsomnia!

Squidipa!! For both the weight gain and the BF'ing!!!!!

Good on you for sticking to your guns with the Paed, the first one sounds like a D!ck Head!! What was he saying about percentiles, where is Joshie on the charts? All the people we have delt with say that it doesn't matter where nakita is on the charts, that as long as she follows the same curve for that percentil or in er case goes up a bit, then it is all fine. We will never be on the 50th percentile, atm I think we are around the 10th, which is nice to be up from the 1st (all on corrected age, she hasn't hit the chart yet for actual) but none of it matters, just as long as she is gaining.

MM the dress fitting went well, I have to get a halter neck bra for the next fitting though, really looking forward to wearing this dress!! Do you think it would be a problem if I wore a halter neck bra for one day at the end of Janury - would if effect my milk, bit of a dumb question me thinks!

I wasn't even considering food until she was 6 months corrected, she will be 6 months actual at christmas!! But I was thinking of going more on her corrected age, I guess it will be a wait and see....she might not even take it then. aqnd I won't be worried if she doesn't!

Leasha, I pinched your little saying and put it on Facebook of Party Time at my house, bring your bbs or bottle, as dear Nakita has a new wake up time 3.45am and I am tired of it, been a week already, what happened to this being jsut a wonder week, I feel it is going to go longer!!!

Good luck on the move SB, hope eveything goes smoothly!

Crap gota go, playgroup shortly hope to be back on tonight !!!

    Hey folks
a couple of quick personals -
YAY SQUIDIPA for Josh's weight gain and the BF'ing. Good on you for insisting on answers from the paed.
Vic - I know what you mean! After a week or so of crying in her sleep at night (I would wake up go into her room and realise she was fast asleep ) now Beth has decided to start waking up at 2.30am for a feed what happened to our lovely sleep-throughs! she has done that the last two nights, and considering a few days ago I was up for ages feeling sick, waking up twice a night for sleep-crying, and two nights of the full 2.30 am wake up complete with full feed, nappy change, and difficult settling I am absolutely wrecked. And I did the bay walk yesterday so a 10K walk in the sun too
And we are trying to organise to go to melbourne to collect this car.... Bear is still saying we will go this weekend, but we haven't booked flights, hire cars, hotels anything. it is such short notice I probably won't be able to meet up with any of my friends down there, and certainly won't have time for shopping but if we do it next weekend instead I miss out on a first aid course I wanted to do and the spa treatment the Bear organised for me at the observatory hotel
Sorry went off on a bit of a me-me-me tangent there.....
MT - hope Jett is going a bit better
SB - what a week! hope everything gets better soon!
    MM - hello!
Mellie - sorry you're at work... but nice that you're not too busy to pop in
Kel - thinking of you hon, hope the wedding is coming together
anyway, she is sleeping so I should be having lunch .... or a nap... or doing something useful
    big wave to all

Just be careful vic to express if need be or else you will get very sore, when i married (the first time) I was still BFing and even tho i could get out of my clothes to do it i didn't as i had brought bottles and didn't want to be away from everything being it is ment to be a a once in a life time thing hey i ended up very sore after the night with the bone in the bra. Well thats juts my story

would love to do more personals but joshie is up

today my dear little thunder bom joshie had his needle to test his blood and i had to also collect the wee and i put the bag upside done theres no alot of opening room for balls and all if ya know what i mean i had to poke everything in to the hole poor little man Got the sample all the same.

Vic my baby book is in car but i will get back to you on that he has dropped lines thats the concern but ill tell ya exactly where he is later today if i remember k
    Gotta scoot

BTW josh had no tears for the needle but obviously didnt like to be held down they couldn't get much out but thank GOD they didnt try again.I am VERY proud of him!! i put those patches on his arms before going hospital.

i'm pretty upset over my friend's child about to die of cancer, probably will be tomorrow so so wrong for anyone to go through that kind of death and pain

Pixie - I can't believe you walked 10k's!!! I walked down to the little general store on the highway and back again yesterday, but it's not exactly a long walk! But pushing around 25kg (DS2 & 3 + the pram) was tiring, and having to stop every so often waiting for DD to catch up ....

Squidipa - yay for collecting those samples!

Rachel - WOW Eli has grown heaps!! And I thought Veygas was a back-breaking weight!! I have been reading that journal too, and everytime I do it makes me cry! It's so unfair to lose a child, especially like that

Mel - I guess you don't want me stalking you LOL!

Anyways, I got a big day ahead of me tomorrow, so I think I should at least try to get some sleep

    Night all!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's child - its every mothers nightmare I think... just not the natural way of things..

MM - now you have my number - stalk me all you like BABY...
