Bec - No probs about the motivation! I am usually the same, too many other things distracting me. I hope you find a course in your area. The best way to entertain Jett is to take him out. He always puts his angel face on when we go out. I mix it up a bit by sometimes putting him in the sling and sometimes the pram. But if we have to stay at home and he needs entertaining I sing, and do finger plays/rhymes, read books, put him in his seats (bumbo, bouncer and swing) or on the rugs and play with his toys. At the first signs of tiredness I just put him somewhere comfortable and let him drift off to sleep in his own time. Seems to work, but if I don't catch him at that first sign of tiredness he just loses it if I keep playing with him. That is when he gets a shower and a cuddle and booby feed to calm him back down. It is difficult to entertain them at this age, but I just try to remember that their attention span is very short so I don't stick to one activity for too long if he looks like he is getting fidgety. Takes up a lot of time to do all the entertaining though!
