I find I'm feeding her to sleep (although all the books say not to and I can understand why) because I just can't seem to get her down any other way without an hour of stressful coaxing.
Pixie, dont worry i do the same, everyone says ''you shouldnt feed her to sleep'' but if its what works then you should do it!! I tried not doing it for a week and it was HELL for all!!
But i know what you mean, if you wake them up when trying to put them down its all over!! that happened this morning and i was just to tired to persist once she was crying so got her up and let her play quietly for half an hour till she looked tired and tried again. went no probs the second time.

does anyone else go to a play group?? are they good? I dont have a mothers group or a circle of friends with babies...have a few...and most my friends with kids are either in sydney or england...im joining a play group tomorrow i think, or friday.
