Thanks for all your support everyone. Sorry to dump it all on you, but I just need to get it out I think.

Tonight as I drove down the road in to Diamond Creek I could see the hills very clearly. And could very clearly see the devastation up there. The hills normally have that blue/grey haze that comes with gum trees. Now it just looks like a black bald hill with burnt matchsticks sticking out. Over to the east the hills in the distance all have thick smoke pouring from there. More than last night. The roads are all still blocked off so no one can get in or out. Except the looters so it seems.....

Bec - I hope Grace's temp has come down now. Poor little mite!

Squidipa - I reckon you might be right about the PTSD. There are just soooo many people that were there. Right around the state. There is one poor town that seems to be getting told every few hours to prepare themselves to leave.... that must be ridiculously stressful.

SB - I'm glad the fires aren't too near you, and praying they don't come your way.
