And for someone who's not too keen (or more to the point, fence-sitting) on having more kids, DP has been very careless lately, iykwim , so who knows ......

Hello!!! How are you all? *Hug*

E took his first official step yesterday yay! He was standing, took a big deliberate step to me and then stood there, realising what he did. DH and my friend was there too, very cool

He is now 76cm tall, 11.2kg! His weight curve has come down heaps since he started crawling so he's now not in the Top 1% of weight lol. He's now in the Top 15% I think and the Top 20% for height.

thepixie: Have you tried a safe-T-sleep thingy for Beth? I use that with E when he stands up in his cot and won't sleep. Works really well even if it seems like I'm putting him in a straitjacket.

E LOVES his wooden trolley - omg he zooms around the lounge pushing it. So cute!

Hope you're having a great day. Congrats again squidipa for the store

    YAY FOR ELI!!!!!
Rach... No I don't have one but I tell you I am willing to try just about anything at this point... she sleeps fine in the pram, on the couch, in the car, maybe she would prefer the restrained sensation. And of course i usually come in to find her standing up or with arms and legs sticking through the cot bars Strange little individual took her morning nap in there today so at the moment I'm kind of working around it and hoping it goes away soon.... and trying to give her playtime in the cot during the day so it isn't threatening....
anyhoo, gotta run, Beth's first day at Montessori so we need to get going!

i am so sick of joshie throwing himself round kicking and scratching thumping and pulling my hair out or body pinches in protest nope nothing new just every contact with him ends up with him unintentionally hurting me. He WONT stay still for changes the change table is a bit low so he kicks me in my tummie or woohoo im sick of all these bruises from him. he refuses to sleep for me too only for hubbie.

    Woo hoo Squidy!!!

    Shocking night and morning here!

N was up at 11pm, 2am, 4am, 5:30 am and 7am, finally got her down for a nap just before 11am, and she slept until 1:20pm!! She is totally out of wack big time for her, I hope it is a tooth coming as her nappies have a really strong ammonia smell, so hoping what ever is causing the problem will just get it over and done with!!!

She is just not herself, usually pop her down for a sleep but noooo not today, boob, rocking, clean nappy, bedtime music everything and eventually she gave up and went to sleep....

Ah well we are off to a friends house for a movie and early dinner... going to be fun!!

Weighed Nakita this morning and she is 8860grams , so up 50grams in about 3 weeks, height was about 71cm, with her itti bitti bum, so guessing she is a bit longer than that because she it too tall for her 00 suits, the 0 ones are big on her but cute!

Wow Sasha, I can't wait to put Kye next to Nakita, only a few weeks to go!!

Awww my baby girl is going to be 1 in 35 days!!!! OMG!!!!!

    :happy birthday: Squiddy!!

Yay and happy birthdays for all the bubs! OMG N one so soon?? Too scary to contemplate!

I thought no one has been chatting lately. I have had trouble getting on BB and so just figured no one was chatting. Only to discover there is a whole new thread!!!

Well, I am back at work. Jett has finally settled down at childcare and now he is finding it all fun. He is just so chatty these days which is really lovely. He is also very busy cruising. Apparently at childcare he does laps of the room!! And he is giving the most lovely snuggly "Your my whole world" cuddles which just about brings tears to my eyes they are just so yummy. They're the moments I want to commit to memory!

Work is work for me. I am surviving but still trying to settle in.

Ummm, not sure what else to write. I need to get Jett weighed again because I think he will be fast approaching the 9kg mark and one of our baby seats will need to be turned around.

No more teeth, but I do suspect he is teething. He also has the strong ammonia smelling wee, extra drool, chewing things, red cheeks that come and go, and crying outbursts so I hope he bloody gets them soon!!!!

Gotta go, my attention is being demanded!

My Son is usually a GREAT sleeper, has been since day 1... but the last week he has started waking up at 5am... he has always been a 7-7 kid but for some reason I cant get him to sleep past 5am... I have tried putting him to bed later which doesnt seem to do anything.... he doesnt wake up hungry or thirsty either.. he weened himself off the bottle at 10 months and eats very well...

Hi Georgie, sorry it's taken a while to reply, we're not the chatty bunch we used to be! A few of the girls are having a meet up on the Gold Coast, two of us are moving house ( Mel), one is pregnant with no. 5 and I guess the rest of us are just busy running around after toddlers and working or with older kids too
Sorry can't help re: the early waking, we get woken up twice a night here so I'm obviously no expert! Just wanted to say hi and welcome aboard.

    Hi Georgiegrl!

My guess is it is just a phase. If he is sleeping really well, just shorter, I think it is just something he's going to have to work through. Does he have 1, 2, or 3 sleeps during the day? He might even be working towards cutting out a day sleep?

Jett slept through from midnight to 6am from day one, and then it got longer and longer and then one day at about 5 months he needed to wake up every couple of hours! He settled back down to 2 wakes a night, then one and only in the last week has he kind of cut out that last one. Still wakes up, quick sleepy grizzle and then goes back to sleep as usual, all in the space of a minute. His sleeptime at night is about 9.30 through to about 7. So no 12 hours here, but I don't think he needs that because of his day sleeps. But even though we have had the wake ups his sleep in between was good solid sleep, with no trouble settling or resettling.

Hi Everyone Else! Thanks for the catch up while we were up there visiting!! Lovely to meet you all and finally put faces to names!
