Vic babe, don't you dare feel bad! You are a truly AWESOME mum! Being a premmie its only natural that there may be some minor delays or issues. She is doing so well and so are you. And I can't believe she is ELEVEN months! Holy moly it is going so fast! The girls in my July group are already designing first birthday invites and planning cakes!
MT great to hear that Jett is enjoying child care now. It must have been so hard for you at first.

Sash I can't believe that Kye is still waiting for his first tooth! We have a whole mouthful here - four on top and two at the bottom and cutting an eye tooth ATM
Well today is the Bear's birthday and Beth has decided to say Dada! Which is very cool. Also she has done a wee in the potty twice in a row when I sat her on it in the morning! I was very impressed although I am pretty sure she has no idea what I am making such a fuss about.

We have a session at the WCH tomorrow with the Physio (a part of prem playgroup), and going to my friends house Friday afternoon for a physio session with her as well.

We FINALLY have decent internet OMG it is superfast, we are the first customers on the new Optic Fibre system here in Adelaide, the company came out today to do some minor adjustments to get it all working and they even bought a lovely bottle of Vintage Champage... nice

good luck with the physio, its a thing that takes time but i am wishing u all the best with it Vic. WOW thats lightening fast internet.

i left my nappies on the rack last night and they all damp now GRRRR they tke 2-3 days to dry in this cooler weather. Tis k i have about 10 here dry and i also have one wet load of about 13 to hang out too. These days, its like there is 2 wet lots out at a time.

last night i bought some fleece liners and night boosters for joshie for the day actually for the bbh bamboo fitted's there not as good as the magical on joshie. As since he has grown we are now out of 8 medium nappies so only about 13 in circulation.

Well I just got the call to confirm I go back to work on 29 June..... I've been in denial for so long.... I can't bear the thought of being away from her for 3 days a week!
I was so sure that they were going to make me redundant.... I could cry! We went out for 3 hours for the Bear's birthday dinner the other night and it was so hard being away from her. We spent nearly the entire time talking about her!
Vic hope it goes well with the physio. The cake sounds good... We have started thinking about Beth's party, but still trying to come up with a theme for the cake and the invitations. We are trying to think of something she likes but electrical cables, belts, shoes, remote controls and phones don't really make attractive cakes! Neither do toilets, one of her current obsessions! Also have to get started on her photo book since time is running out until I have to go back to work!

aww must be hard having to go back to work the first time i was away from kids i was so lost i didnt know what to do with myself i hated sending them to school i sat on the couch looking at the clock i was so sad..
joshie and beth are around same size actually every time i see that pic of beth i think is that joshie as he has a very similar top too.

joshie is mad for cord too here eeekkk!!! drives me bonkers.

Oh thepixie I sooooo hear you about going back to work! I am going back for 2 days a week starting July 6. I can't bear the thought how close it is Not a long term thing though for me IYKWIM.

It's almost a week till we go away on holiday to Hawaii YIPPEEEeee! I am so needing a holiday in the sun!!!! Can't wait!!!!!

E has another mini cold again. I think he was struggling to breathe with his snuffly nose and he bit me for the first time 3x today!!!!! ARGH. Felt like little needles, seriously not like being bitten anywhere else OW. He only has two too. I gently pulled his ear and he cried and then I felt bad. My friend suggested doing that but now I'm not so sure??

Everything is going great. Jett is such a happy little boy at the moment and very affectionate. Just giving me such yummy cuddles! Other than that not much to report!

all i can says is to everyone whom has to return to work and wishes they didnt have to

plus i gotta figure this thing out quick i got bitten again by something yesterday and its reacting in same way a last time got to figure out what insect i am HIGHLY reactive to. problem is last time i went to after hours clinic at hospital so this time i will have to too will have to get a copy of file to take to GP too bit scary going to drs with all these nasty bugs round.

Well not much to report here... thanks everyone for your comments on the walking video We're obviously super proud of her! Was a bit disappointed in my RL Mum's group - she was walking around last week when we had our usual get together and every time they all seemed to be looking the other way... only one of them even said anything... the parents at playgroup all noticed (and lots of their bubs are older and still not walking) and said Wow so don't really know why they were so weird about it anyhoo that's my little whinge!
hope everyone's well and bubs are behaving! Happy 10 months to all the bubs....

Hey all!!

Been around, but been slack in posting in here.

For all the walking The videos are just gorgeous.

Nakita is on the mend now, she is a completely different baby to what she was last week, she was just not herself at all, and I hate hearing her struggle to breathe, there are soooo many respiratory problems going around.

She lost a bit over 400grams, and since she has started to feel better the only food she will eat is by feeding herself, which is cool, I jsut sit her up in the high chair with a heaps of food and leave her to it. New favourites are home made hot cakes and apricot (dried)

Another friends bub ended up in WCH with Bronchiolitis and is still in there on O2 and IV, it is sooo very scary, especially knowing how close we were to being in there ourselves, and Kel having been in recently too. The hospital is overflowing with children with respiratory problems, I am really hoping that we are at the end of it

Had a shocking week, got a couple of threads about it, thanks Pixie and Squidy

Feeling like crap today, might be coming down with something

Wish I had something more positive to post!!!

hey everyone,

Hope everyone had a good week end we went to the zoo and the kids had a GREAT day Josiah and kids were fantastic!!!!!!! we spent form 9.30-5pm there

dunno if i got round to telling you all but joshie will be having that op to fix his winkie we are on a waiting list. so will be done with in 3 months. Mixed feelings here after all that but glad it will be more normal looking not happy about the anesthetic. and only being a day surgery we should be over the moon but im not.

Joshie sleeps straight through night most nights now and its sooo good its more consistent than the few sleep through then not. He now weighs 9.985 grams and im finding his bbh bamboo aio fitted's arnt fitting him GRRRRRR well they are but its hard to get them on GRRRR as we own around 14 of these. He is pulling hims elf up everywhere.

This morning got snapped eatting his cot i could hear this grinding sound in the dark lol thought it may have been a mouse but nope it was josiah Josiah grinds his 3 teeth all the time and grr its annoying does anyone else have this issue?

We also got snapped the other day in bed and realized joshie was watching us and what a strange feeling that was
