    Hi Georgiegrl!

My guess is it is just a phase. If he is sleeping really well, just shorter, I think it is just something he's going to have to work through. Does he have 1, 2, or 3 sleeps during the day? He might even be working towards cutting out a day sleep?

Jett slept through from midnight to 6am from day one, and then it got longer and longer and then one day at about 5 months he needed to wake up every couple of hours! He settled back down to 2 wakes a night, then one and only in the last week has he kind of cut out that last one. Still wakes up, quick sleepy grizzle and then goes back to sleep as usual, all in the space of a minute. His sleeptime at night is about 9.30 through to about 7. So no 12 hours here, but I don't think he needs that because of his day sleeps. But even though we have had the wake ups his sleep in between was good solid sleep, with no trouble settling or resettling.

Hi Everyone Else! Thanks for the catch up while we were up there visiting!! Lovely to meet you all and finally put faces to names!

Yes im hoping its a stage... one that ends very soon....

He has 2 sleeps duringthe day... sometimes 1 if we are out and about.. the morning sleep is 1-1/2 hours and the same pretty much in the afternoon. I tried cutting him back to just one sleep and that was HELL... i put him down at 12 which by then he was EXHAUSTED but he only slept for about an hour and would wake up sooooooo grumpy but refused to go back to sleep... and would then be grumpt allllll afternoon.. so i decided to go back to 2 sleeps and he is back to his happy self... but still waking up VERY early in the morning....

I would understand if it was light and that is why he was waking.. but its still pitch black when he wakes up...

there must have been something in the air last night as matty woke at 11pm too, but i think maybe he just had a nightmare as when i got him up he was still really upset so i gave him cuddles and he eventually fell asleep on me... i LOVE that.. its sooo cute.. just not at 11pm at night.. lol

It is quiet.... I haven't had much to report.....

    But I do now.

After a few months of threatening to walk Jett has finally decided to take the plunge. Still early days, he only really started on Tuesday night.

And he has now weaned so we are no longer BF. Not sure how I am feeling about that...

    for Jett walking

Biggest for Jett weaning, we are down to one feed, total refusal last 3 nights, so just a morning feed, which I don't think will last much longer

That is great that Joshie is getting around too, and 8 teeth WOW!!

As for us, most of you know we spent four days in hospital this week, Nakita had an acute infection in her lunch (Pneumonitis, whihc causes inflamation of the lungs) and she was diagnosed with Chronic Mild Asthma (Chronic due to the ongoing cough), although it won't be official until she has 3 attacks I am hoping that she doesn't!!

Nakita is close to crawling, she is trying very very hard, but her leg is getting caught infront and when we bring it rhough she goes flat to her tummy and doens't know what to do. She is rolling quite a bit on the bed, but no where else. So we are definitely making progress with her physio

4 teeth we think her eye teeth are moving but can'tse them getting any closer at the moment

That is all for us for now!

    Hi Everyone!

Just thought I would pop back in here and say

Things are just so quiet around here....

So, how is everyone doing? Anything new to report?

Jett is still coasting along, now walking full time and is becoming quite the little clown. Loves playing with his dog and cat. He has 7 teeth.... and I'm sure that 8th one is threatening!

And that is about it for us.

    Take care! Mwah!

    Hey all

I do scan the thread, but not much to say!!! Miss M walks behind her walker, but not on her own, and will walk around furniture. Much prefers to crawl, which is what her brother did until he was 15.5 months.

She has uh (let me count.. ).. 11 teeth. All the first set of molars are through, just working on the top eye teeth now, and another one on the bottom as well. Then we're done till the 2 year molars. Hopefully she will get her eye teeth before the next baby comes, which is exactly what happened with DS haha.

I'm glad everyone is going well and busy with their bubs!!! We're all busy down here, trying to settle in, Miss M being party pants in the early hours of the morning (cept for last night, barely a whinge from her, it was most awesome. Would have been MORE awesome if Aricyn didn't wake up at 10pm and then go to bed between us at 11pm. Some nights I just want to cuddle my husband, instead of my 2 year old!!!)

Sooo yeah, thats all from me!

Same here, trying to settle in to a new area. Going pretty well but have had various hiccups along the way which can be time-consuming. I still haven't managed to get madam her 12 month shots for example Other than that, not much to report.... we love our new house, we are poor as church mice at the moment, family hassles, blah blah blah so haven't been saying much - I feel like i've been in 'a mood' for about 4 months now.
But yeah surely things will start getting better soon... surely....
