Just popping in to let you all know how my 6 week check up went. DS2 now weighs 6.1kg and is 60cm long. He is in the 97 percentile. I knew I wasn't exagerating about he's size He is the size of an 'average' 3.5month old.
AFM - Sorry if TMI. I do have a prolapse, the dr didn't seem to think it was as bad as I had imgined it, so maybe all those pelvic floor exercises are doing something to help after all. having said that, because she has to check when I am laying down, it is possible that it 'falls back in' a bit (for lack of a better description). Anyway, because it doesn't actually 'bother' me atm, I was told I should wait and see how it goes in terms of comfort (and continue my pelvic floor exercises) before we discuss any treatments for it - which they only real treatment is surgery.
As for contraception, I have been given a script for the mini pill. Implannon, was suggested as an alternative, however I have used that 2times in the past and both times have gained significant weight very quickly. Not a good idea when I am now trying to loose weight. I am not sure if I am happy to rely on the mini pill though - I don't think my body could handle another pg too soon, and DH might have a heartattack. But the only other option seems to be condoms??? Or abstinance i guess, but I don't think Dh would be too thrilled with that.
Hey everyone..Sorry for being MIA it's been hectic around here, no sooner do i put miss E down she is screaming again! I'm ready to pull my hair out and I swear i am never having sex again! we went to the pead and she is on different medication now on 1ml of Zantac morning and night, which seems to be helping her more, but she's still quite an unsettled baby and only I can settle her. I'm not saying that to sound special either, but seriously when she starts she won't stop until she it back in my arms. Poor DF feels a little dejected and I feel very tired and worn out...
And i was just about to do personals but Eloise has woken up again,the older kids are screaming and DF is trying to sleep because he has to go back to a night shift tonight (after orking the morning shift today) sorry!
