Howdy All!!!
I have just been so busy.... Got a new Burner for my puter at home & Dh has been madly on there burning a heap of stuff! I read back, but5 now cant remember anything... I am flat out at work..... It's driving me bonkers there's this new product & it's a nightmare at the moment!!!
Indah loves mandarin, not sure about the peel, she scoffed into scones with jam & cream on the weekend too!!!
She has been sleeping better too, she isnt awake, just maning/whining in her sleep... I have realised now just to leave her & in about 5mins she is resettled, but if we go to her she wakes up fully & thinks it's time to play!!! She has a bit of a snotty nose, still doing wee on potty nightly, I am going to grab a potty for my sis & Mum, different ones so she is used to variety... She now pokes her tongue out (Dh taught her this) she also lays her head in to our chests & goes 'Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww' Which is very cute!
She now kneel up to the couch, table or anything & then crawls on her knees, arms in air, only a little way before dropping back onto her hands & she has been walking a step or 2 with her hands & tippy toes on the floor!??? I have no idea how she does it!
Hope everyone is well, if I had time I'd go back & read again....
Jo glad the party was a success & poor Livvy... Hope she's feeling better soon, Maddy is 71/2 & weighs approx 20kgs so they are much the same hey!!!

I had my u/s this morning, I am 9w1d, yippee & bub was wriggling around. woo hoo.
Zaccie is well, very cheeky, but has a lovely long weekend with his daddy!! I basically got ignored:crying: but they had fun together.

Trace Indah sounds so cute with all her little things she does. Its amazing how much our bubbas seem to be learning each day isnt it. Our girls must be around the same size..well before..I really hope Livvy doesnt loose too much weight but I can feel a difference already.
Thanks Kel..yep its horrible but I cant really complain they really dont get sick that often..i hope i dont jinx myself now! Is it getting cold in Kal now?? Its freezing here today..got the fire roaring and its very wet..feels like winter finally!

Jo - I reckon it's our mind playing tricks on us when we think they have lost weight, and in any case I am sure Livvy will pick up again and make up for what she has lost. She will probably go on a little eating binge once she is feeling dandy again. Remember Lucie was sick for over a week and basically ate nothing, but still managed to put on 400g in that month! It's mostly just fluid that they lose anyway, like when we get gastro and the only upside is that you think 'oh well I lost a few kg', but then a week or 2 later they are all back on!
Storm - whooooooooooohoooooooooo on your u/s, now tell that silly doc what a happy little bubba you have growing there!
Tracey - glad Indah is sleeping better too. Would love to try the potty thing with Lucie once we get settled into our new house). How did you start it?

Well Lucie took 4 steps today in a row all by herself!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhh! And she keeps screeching at me if I don't walk around the house with her (you know stand behind and hold her hands while she walks). Help!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and today I entered the third tri, gulp!

Hoping to get on to do a proper post soon, everytime I sit near the computer something happens. It has been one of those afternoons here, all I would like to do is relax. Going to footy training in a min, urgh I've had enough of today already!!

sorry jyust a really quick one as I am still trying to get the princess to sleep and I am exhusted!
Now word on the house yet :-( they rejected our offer so we increased it but still below the asking price so we will see how it goes. DH being a Real Estate agent called them and told them they would be silly not to accept it so we will see what happens tomorrow. I am not to worried as if it is not meant to be then it is not meant to be!.
Kaitlyn is still clingy and exercising her screaming ability!.....and I am beat!....I am off to bed for some rest!

Yeah fingers c rossed on the house...although I am trying to tee up a time to look at another one today which may be even better...so I will let the universe through the right one our way!.
Man I am so tired after yesterday ....I love my girl but she is driving me a little nuts at the moment...I have to weight her but she has to be pusing 10.5kgs and I am having to cart her around on my hip all day!. I think she may actually sense the stress I am feeling about having to leave her at childcare and perhaps that is making her more clingy..not sure.
HOpe you all have a great day! Off to start cleaning the breakfast mess in the kitchen!

I know wehat you mean when DH & I got married in Bali Maddy got a throat infection & vomited for 4 days & was down to 12kgs! She was 5 yrs old! She looked so sick, but my MIL is a nurse at a Private hospital & so we went & saw a Paediatrician who looked in her throat & immediately gave her antibiotics, that night she asked me to cook her Brussel Sprouts!? I searched for brussel sprouts in Bali, found them & cooked them & she scoffed into them all! Then slept for about 20 hours straight!!!
We thought she had a tummy bug so treated her for that, I felt sdo bad, but she never said her throat was sore!!! I took her to a Dr in bali (cost us 75cents as she has a Bali ID card sssssh!) So she got charged local price, ofcourse we'd have paid anything, but my FIL booked it all in under her balinese name etc. When we saw Paed she went under her balinese name too & it was $11 including the antibiotics!!!
But she was so skinny! But made up for it the next few days! She was constantly eating anything & drinking Milo! I hope Livvy is feeling better soon!
Indah is just a copycat last night DH taught her to do something with her tongue & she hasnt stopped making that noise now!!! Again she grizzled for about 3 mins last night & then didnt wake til 7 this mormning YAY!!!!!
She is a pro on the potty, she gets on potty, a few seconds later she cheers & claps & stands up, trying to walk off potty & Yep she's already Pee'd!!!!! She is off to market with my Mum today!!! Arent they adorable when they are happy!!!
Soph, I just simply put the potty in lounge for a few days (it now lives in our lounge room!) she would put stuff in it, pick it up, push it, pop it on her head etc... then after a few days she want scared of it so we just sat her on it & gav3e her toys & read her a book & she happened to wee, so we clapped & praised her & showed her what she'd done, I cant remember now but I'd say last 2 wks or so she wee's everynight on potty after her bath!! She loves it & if I just pop her on the floor to go get her Pj's, she has crawled to potty & is kneeling at it!!! So she is happy to hop on it no probs!!! I dry her hair while she sits there & put her singlet on & she's done!!!
OMG< at 3rd tri, it's flying hey!!! Those contraction memories flooding back yet!??? hee hee WTG also to Lucie at her walking, she's just zooming along hey!!!!
Storm, I only have 1 that plays sports etc & it can be so exhausting, home from work to go out again!!! Rest up & I am sure Zac is gald to have you to himself again now!!!
Brooke, How's Feral Cheryl Charlotte today??? I hope she is Charlotte the angel again for you!!!

Kel, It's freezing outside my office & I have to go inspect a delivery soon, I am trying to put it off til it warms up, like maybe November!!! I so hate Cold weather!!!!

Sorry for the short post everyone, but our other house we were building round the corner for an investment has finished today and we have to get round there to do some serious gardening and stuff so that people can rent it asap!!!
Jack is spending the whole day with MIL after his swimming lessons so I should be very grateful for that.. It gives us a whole day to get stuff done. Lunch with her wasn't too bad as Jack was there to help start any conversations!!Hehehehe Thats the hardest part sometimes!!
Oh and I bought a new dress inh zebra material that was marked at $60 and I got it for $19!! Gotta love those sales...
Oh and yeah she paid for lunch too, so another bonus!
And not sure if the lemon juice worked or not, I'll have to try again soon, but he seems to be alright at the moment with his toofies.
Trace, he does the same as Indah, grizzles for a few mins when we put him to bed but then finds a comfy position and he's asleep!! Usually from 8 to 8!!
So better go now before Daddy comes home from swimming lessons and I'm still in my pjs on the puter!!! Man will I get it!!

Our big bath, is really deep & the side is so damned High, there's NO WAY I could bend over to bath Indah in that so I sit her up on kitchen bench in her baby bath... maddy never had a baby bath, but Mum & Dads old bath was really low, so i could easily bath her leaning in...
I wish I could pop them both in the bath, but maddy swooshes around too much!

Wow Soph, are you off again? Hope you have a great time away!! Mmmm, the doctor, he is a ****er! He focused on the small point of haemorage(sp) rather than the baby!! It was only noted in the report, & nothing else was said about it, but, yeah, he started to talk about just that & how bad it could be. I have to ring him back this arvo as he was calling the u/s doc to find out more. If it was a major issue it would have been put in the conclusion part too & a follow up suggestion made, Ah well, this is why I hate my doc & need to find a new one!!
Hi Brooke!! I'm glad your feral cherly has gone now!!I had a dream about you last night, well not you exactly, just your ovaries!!! They were roses & your DH's sperm were afids & they were all over your rose!!! Hopefully that means something! hehehe
Awww Cass I hope Kaitlyn is being better for you!It's so sweet when they are all clingy, but only sweet for short periods!! Hope the house works out for you too!

Well Lucie is asleep. I've gotten into the habit of cuddling her to sleep in the arvo. Ah well, it won't last forever I suppose and it's nice. My stomach is sooooooooo big and my nipples have started leaking :eek:

Well girls we did not get the house. They want the 340per week and DH and I just don’t think it is worth it. So we have submitted another application for another house and should hear back on that one tomorrow. But we had a great day anyway!…DH sold a 1.5Million dollar property …arghhhhh very good!. And my boss found me a new role! It is project management ….4 days with 1 mandatory day in the office …so I have organised to work one day from home but maybe I will end up being able to do more. The manager I will be working for is wonderful and I have worked with her before and really enjoyed it ….she is also a new mum and has suggested looking into Nannys as they can be as cheap as daycare ( which is $70.00 a day at the one I am sending Kaitlyn to ) so I will investigate…and then deck the hopefully new house out in cameras!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kaitlyn is still clingy. She screams bloody murder everytime I put her down. So my new tactic is just to talk calmly to her and still put her down and then praise her when she stops screaming or when she does not scream…hope this is the right thing to do !.

Cass - Bummer about the house but awesome news on the job! Sounds perfect. I have heard quite a few people doing that re Nannies too. Oh and I sooooo need to do some more pelvic floor work, think I'm going to have big issues after this bub. It's just a matter of remembering!

Not such a good night sleep last night, oh well. Lucie took 8 solo steps last night too!!! Arrrrrrghhh I can't stop her now. Off to hospital for my booking in apt and need to do my GTT test too. Busy day. And yes I am finding it very difficult with my large bump - it's nearly the size of just before I had Lucie. Another 3 months and I am not sure how I will be coping. Ok better go and change miss stinky bum.

Last night Indah was truly pooped so I didnt bath her, but still put her on potty & was amazed that she immediately peed! So I am guessing she does connect them & not so much bath- potty- bed.... YAY... She slept like a log last night... Went down at 7:30 & I hear her at 7am, but did what i needed to do before getting her & she was sitting in her cot with 2 dummies shoved in her mouth giggling away!!! Funny monkey!

Cass, I think the house just isnt meant to be because there is a better one out there for you, OMG that is awesome Re: your new job/role & your boss will be uinderstanding as she has a new bubba too! My sis is a nanny & she looks after Indah 3 days per week (my Mum begged to have her the other 2 days!) She now also has a guy from my works son as his wife has gone back to work 3 days per week, so she has them 2 days together & 1 day alone each.. I toild her she had to follow what i said & Indah is very happy there, I am glad they will all have a strong realtionship... I'm sure Kaitlyn will be fine...

Hope its good news for the other house Cass..the universe does provide. Great news about your job too ..thats sooo great. Getting a nanny is a great idea...my best friend is a nanny and she just loves it.

The horse's name is Chessie...big barrel of a thing lol really needs some exercise..kids are planning on doing alot of riding..they are ecstatic to be cantering now.

Not much happening here...so nice to get out this morning though. Livvy is back at school today and Sammy and I went for a long walk together. I do have playgroup to go to but i have a horrible cold so dont want to infect everybody..am i being paranoid...does everyone do this or is it just me??

Jo I keep to myself when I have a cold too! I think it helps break the cycle, if only everybody did it!! Yippee on the horse!! Glad to hear Livvy is all better. I didnt grab my camera & had I left the room to get it, she would have screamed the house down!
OH NO!!! I still remember my very first day of my period, I was so excited in the morning, I was a woman, but I remember coning home from school (I was in yr 8!) I threw stuff around & hated being a girl... I yelled at My Mum & Dad for making me a girl & making me have to have this thing which I have truly hated ever since!!! I was such a nasty girl that day... I can still see my Mum & Dads faces they were so upset not knowing what to do... I have never ever had a painful, or crampy period, it's always been bang on 28days....
*Although I have now had 2 cycles even though I am still feeding Indah & this last one was due on the 11th June... But nothing no signs of AF at all.... I am definately NOT preg as we have used condoms each time... But hopefully I wont gewt another one til I stop feeding!!!! Ah pure heaven...
Anyways I hope it;s not your daughter's period, coz periods SUCK!!!!!

just a short one today as we had the day from hell.......Kaitlyn was so upset ....long story ...seperation anxiety it at its peak...but I am think it is me and she is just picking up on me being upset about having to go back to work ...mmmmm naughty mummy!. DH is so sweet and after my shocker day he came home at 330pm and let me relax....plus he booked me in for a 1hour massage tomorrow morning....he is SOOO sweet ..does stuff like that for me all the time...shucks I am lucky heheheh.
Anyway we got a house!...yayyyayayaya so we are moving on the 30th ....So let the packing begin!.

Still ffffffffreeezing here! Minus 1 last night and prolly lower tonight!! All rugged up though and heaters blazing!
Bad news - spent another night and day in hospital with Zahzee with another bronchiolitis/asthma attack. Zahra is much better now and hopefully her asthma action plan will be properly ironed out to fix the problems we found with it over the last few days.
Other kids are good but I think they are coming down with the same virus as Zahra has - rosey red cheeks and feral behavior abounds in my house!! (spose you get that with 3 kids and a husband who thinks he is pretty hard done by after looking after the kids for half a day lol!)
Better go and catch up on some sleep - only got 2 hours last night in the hospital.
On the funny side - got locked in the bathroom at the hospital last night and it took the an hour to get me out!! Bloody freezing and Zahra was screaming as they had just put the oxygen prongs in and she was not happy Jan! All I could think was "Hey, this is the first time in ages where I can sit on the toilet in peace and quiet!!" The nurses put a magazine under the door for me to read and we all thought it was rather hillarious! (pity it was a midnight!!).
If only they had fixed the door when I told them the handle was broken in May.........

Cass yaay on the house..whoohoo...!!! Poor little miss though..I so hope she settles down...poor little munchkin.
All is finally quiet in the house and its 10pm....just a note to remember when your bubbies are bigger....if they by chance get elected student councillor...it really is a code word for mums and dads having to do lots more work for the school than they already do!!! Ive spent the past two hours making and painting a king and prince crown for the disco that Darren is doing for the school for tomorrow night...arrrgggghhhhh.

Jo - Urgh blossoming womanhood, scarey! I went to the movies with a friend on the weekend (bliss!) and there were 2 16 year olds doing the deed. She was freaking out saying 'That will be my daughter in 3 years!' and then said 'And yours in 15'. No way! Lucie can't have a boyfriend until she is 30!The horse sounds fab too!
Kel - Hoping that there are no more hospital visits for you, you poor thing! And bugger about being locked in the loo, but I hope it was a good mag too.
Storm - Forgot to say that my old ob said that when you hit 9 weeks and have a scan, you're pretty much home and hosed - not that you sound stressed anyway. Are you going to find out if bub is a girl or boy?
Meeting up with other mums and bubs for lunch today which should be nice. I'm always the first to leave, so trying to change that today and be ready with lunch for Lucie. She loves 2 minute noodles and it's always my back up meal when she won't eat anything else. I get the ones with no artificial colours or flavours, but realise it's not the most nutrious meal for her, but if it's all she will eat, what can I do? What do you guys think? I've tried angel hair spaghetting with vegies mixed through it, but she didn't really go for it.

I was just tired & I think that's why I am maybe not getting my period as well!???? Plus it was only my 3rd one since Indah so I think the extra expressing & letting Indah snack & comfort suck to keep my supply til after QLD, has meant increased feeds so maybe it's made my period scram!>>> Plus it was a 3 day weekend when it was due & she fed more! OK, I p'd on an OPK which they say picks up the stuff (youd think after 2 babies you'd know the words!) but there was nothing so there ya go!!!!!!
Soph, if its' all she will eat Pffft, just let her, she will get sick of it & look for something else! My Mum goes out for lunch atleast 1 of the days she has Indah & Indah gets to eat hot chips!!! Only that one day a week, but still I tell Mum to get a strifry & give Indah the vegies but she never does!!! Oh well, Indah loves it so what does it matter...? She eats veggies & meat most nights at home & my sis makes her toasted cheese sanga's fruit etc so it should be OK...
Fletch, I think your a legend with your business idea & hope it takes off & you need a rep/assistant in Melb... I'm your woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
Cass, you will be fine & Kaitlyn will be fine too. I hated being apart, but I am used to it now & dont hate myself or beat myself up over it anymore! She will get used to it & enjoy it & you'll see her having fun & you'll not be too upset about it... A nanny is probably the best way to go for your own piece of mind!
JO, I am scared of my babies growing up... I know Maddy is really mature (she wants me to take her to the new movie out Stick It) she loves dancing & it is fairly hip wriggling (from Movie videos) she copies all those Boppy chicks out now! make me wonder how far away the whole boy thing is!!! Even though she is almost 8, she has always hung out with boys & is Tomboyish, but has female friends too & now starts with the "I cant waer that, or I want to show my belly etc!" I have kept our relationship open & I praise her when she tells me stuff that i know I'd have kept from my Mum & Dad! She talks about boys etc & I dont get angry or defensive I talk to her & I think & hope it has paved a way for her to feel comfortable about coming to me & also DH about things!
She has at times told me a bout a boy or a girl at school that are older & things that have been said wher e I want to tell her to never talk to them again... But I pause (it's a difficult pause!) Then I tell her I am very happy & proud that she has talked to me about it & I make it special we may go snuggle up on the bed or on the couch etc, then I tell her that what was said isnt nice, or is rude or whatever it was (I ask her how it made her feel, upset, hurt, dirty etc) & that if that person speaks to her like that again & she didnt like it, or whatever that she should walk away & ignore them or tell them, it's not nice to speak to her or anyone else like that!
A grade 5 boy said he wanted to sleep with her once, she told him, she didnt like that type of talking & she would never sleep with him, beacuse she is too good for him... I was proud that she told me what happened & I spoke to a teacher, but asked it didnt go further as I was certain this boy got the picture as he apparently was very embarassed, he is the youngest of 2 brothers & a sister & maybe learnt from them without knowing... I told her, her body is her temple & hers to look after, respect & take care of... Still makes me worry... But I hope I am setting her up to be strong & understand... My older sister is very shy about this type of thing & not at all open with her son & in grade 3 last year he said he had a girlfriend & my sister was terribly upset & when he made a Valentines Day card for his girlfriend my sister yelled at him, as she felt it too early to write I love you!!!
I told her he will never come to you if he has done something he is proud of or emotional about & you tell him off! The girl had made him a card saying I love you too & my sis was so upset!!! He certainly did become more wary about what he discusses with my sis, he is now in grade 4!!! I think she went about it the wrong way... But she has always been more straight!??? PHEW ... I bet your sorry I ever joined the Aug thread!!
