Trace its a worry isnt it. Maddy sounds very grown up. Livvy is 8 in December but shes still my baby girl KWIM. We did have a couple of cards from boys last year saying that they wanted to sex her but its just little kids talk..they latch on to the idea and run with it! Em tends to play with the boys more and really enjoys their company...Jess is very confident and has been quite nasty really to any boy who has had the remotest inkling of romance with her ..lol. I feel sorry for your sisters little boy too...poor little man. I think the feelings that our children feel are very very real despite us maybe not wanting them to feel them just yet. I have almost total recall of my childhood and would have hated my feelings to not be validated.

Soph hope you have a lovely day today with the other mums and bubs...sounds like lots of fun. Sammy loves 2 minute noodles...its like his favourite food atm...if i show him im cooking them he gets so excited!

Well house to clean, washing to do...arggghhh..it never ends

Well Lucie ate a big bowl of vegie combo, bolognaise sauce and rice cereal tonight. Mmmm not sure about the mix, but it worked, plus half an avocado for lunch and I didn't habe anything else but noodles, so some of those too. Yay! Now of course she will go on a starvation because I have said that!

DH is out getting pizza. Mmmmmmmm but norty!

Soph I would not worry to much about the noodles! Last night at 730pm Kaitlyn DH and I were all sitting on the floor watching tele and munching on Maccas chips ...naughty!. I swear one thing about having a bubba is you spend so much time on your feet you can eat anything!!!!!!

Tracey I think your talk with Maddy is so wonderful!!! you are going to have such a great relationship with them when they are in their teens...keep on telling us what you are doing so I cam mimick you!.

Jo I hope your cleaning went well!....I always try and get some of mine done on a Friday to .

Kelli although being stuck in a loo and away from your cherub would have been horrible....at least you did get some forced relax time!. I hope everyone is feeling a little better and has not been hit to bad by the bug.

Well I am one relaxed mumma here! Had the most wonderful 1hour massage this morning care of DH ...I swear he is so thoughtful ..makes me feel bad as I am not as much of a romantic sweet thinker as he is!. We then went off and signed the lease for our house yayayaya. Our unit is advertised on the internet for rent and the agent already has someone who wants to see it!. I am not to worried about renting it out as it is really nicely renovated...I know I am biased!.

Made a YUMMMM dinner tonight ....a lamb casserole thing ..mmmm so easy and Kaitlyn ate two bowls of it with rice. Soph have you tried Lucie on Lamb yet ?...Kaitlyn LOVES it as it is such a strong flavour so she may scoff it to !. Kaitlyn is getting so over veges...it always has to be with meat or cheese , or something else tasty.

Kaitlyn is getting close to crawling ...she gets on her knees but then they slide out from under her. She is still clingy and screamy ...and she has learnt now how to crawl onto me and wrap her legs around me so I lift her up !!!! Just went in to check on her and her head is at the bottom of the cot ...she is completely turned around ..cheeky thing!.

I just wanted to say Thank you sooo much for being so welcoming, you all seem really nice and i look forward to getting to know you all.

I didn't say much about myself and hannah in the last msg because i thought that might be abit weird to bombard you all with it all at once.

So here is a little bit about us . . . I currently live in Melbourne. I lived here from when i was born until i was 17. Then my mum and i moved to Hervey Bay in Queensland, that's where i met John (Hannah's Daddy) and where i gave birth to Hannah. My mum and i moved back to Melbourne Dec last year because all our friends and family are down here and we missed them. John still lives in Queensland on the Gold Coast because of his work (He couldn't leave) so we are in a long distance relationship at the moment. It's hard at times but we take it in turns in taking holidays to see each other every month or so which isn't too bad. I just hate it that he's missing out on so much of Hannah's life. I'm pretty sure Hannah and i are moving back up to Queensland hopefully between Sept - Dec which i can't wait for.

Now abit about Hannah. Hannah started crawling about a month ago, she is sooo fast now she follows me around every where. She can pull herself up on just about every thing these days i think she is not far off walking (god help me, haha) we're having to baby proof the house more and more every day. Hannah also has her 6th tooth coming through, Hannah is such a bad teether, they really bug her, Bonjella is a life saver though and i also have this stuff called teething relief by Braun which is great!

Fletch, you are so good not giving Zane any norty foods!! DH has gone as far to give Zac a mint patty & he always shares his ice creams with him!! Not happy!! Plus the kids always give him bits of what they are eating!! It just drives me insane!! Zac is over vegies too! How funny is that? He now just has whatever we have for dinner!

I'm really out of sync from missing out these last few days! I've been really sick, dont think it is preggy sick either.ewwww
Yay for Kaitlyn starting to crawl Cass, bummer she is still clingy though, LOL at how she was sleeping too!!

Soph, dont worry about the noodles, Zac loves them too!! How's your belly growing? Zac has been going great guns with his milk too, but I cant get him to drink it from his straw cup, he will only drink juice in it, if I put water or milk in he just sucks it up & spits it out!!

Awww Trace, love you story about talking to Maddy, she is definately going to feel comfortable talking to you when she is older!

oooh Kel, funny about the loo! How is Zarah now?

I have people taking my guttering down, talk about keen, it's 2.45 on a saturday & they are here working! Bit of a late start too, coz I was at Dylans footy game when they turned up! They should have organised a time! I can not beleive that Zaccie has slept threw all their noise!!Must be zonked!!

WEll I'm trying to get the packing done for Hobart on Monday. I am really nervous about travelling by myself with Lucie this time. We'll be in the airports for about 8 hours all up with the flights and waiting, and it's going to be very tiring holding Lucie on the flights with my big bump. Argh fingers crossed it all goes ok. Just frantically hoping all the washing dries now! Oh and after a super eating day yesterday Lucie has decided to do the total opposit today. She is a poopa machine too - 5 poopy nappies yetserday and 3 so far today. Could that be teeth?

Cass, A big YAY for Kaitlyn starting to crawl and hope she's less clingy for you.. Jack has started to be a bit clingy and if I leave the room he cracks it too!! He even tried to do it last night at 3.30am, when he woke up crying. I put his dummy back in and a bit of bonjela but everytime he saw me leave the room, he would start crying!! So after a few times I said in my stern voice (hehehe) "Jack, go to sleep" and it worked!!!

Hi Alex!!The other night Zac was being a terror to get to sleep & he ended up managing to pull the lamp down off the shelf (?????) we heard a big crash through the monitor & a giggle We went In & DH told him off & said to him not to move & go to sleep! & he did he looked at dh with that "oh **** I'm in trouble "look & he didn't move again! It was soooo funny!!:dunno: maybe he understood!! poor bubba!! Somebody's got a naughty streak! His specialist noticed he has a double crown & told me that it means he is gonna be very smart, but also very naughty!! OH NO !!!!I cant ever image my bubby being really norty!!he he he

Soph so cute on the lamb chop...I will have to try Kaitlyn on a whole one!. You have to send us pics of your bump!. Kaitlyn is also pooing like a trooper!!!I sometimes wonder where it all comes from!.

Fletch you are so like me with your busy mind keeping you up ...just think sheep..1...2...3..4........ You are so good not giving Zane junk! Kaitlyn has only had Maccas chips twice and ice cream once which she hated...that is about the extend of it so far ....oh and the choc off the top of my coffee once hehehehe.

janene I hope your family are reunited soon it must be so hard being apart!. My best friend was apart from her now husband for 6months while he was organising his Visa to come from NY to Aus...it was hard on her and their son...but they are together now and so happy!. I noticed your little angel was a cute chubba bubba like Kaitlyn! She was 9pound 2 Oz!...did you have a natural birth?. I was so thankful for drugs hehehehehe....26.5hours so I needed something other then gas!!!!!

Alex Kaitlyn has been up in the middle of the night to !!! ....usually takes about 45mins for her to grumble her way back to sleep . I think it must be the cold. Although I can see what looks like her eye teeth coming through. She has not got her middle top teeth yet so she may look like a vampire soon!.

Storm I love little Zacs cheeky streak!. They are really getting to the age when they know what they are doing ..cause and effect ect ect!. What a good boy sleeping through the trades men!.

Well nothing much to report here ...just did lots of cooking for my gal today and other then that had a coffee with my mum and hung out!. Tomorrow we have a bday party for a friend at Centenial park and that is it. Oh had a nice break today as DH took Kaitlyn food shopping while I stayed home...so weird!. I usually dont let him go food shopping as he spends more...for example today he spent $50.00 more then I usually do ...mind you he bought me caramal syrup for my coffee and a New Idea mag so I cant complain!.

Well better go and wash the mud mask off my face hehehe and paint my nails!.

Janene, my hubby & I were ina LONG distance relationship fora long time, he is Balinese & altjough I lived there for a few years it took a long time for his residency & we are still together & extremely happy! I too had a look at Hanna's site & it's awesome! I never get time to do much on Indah's!!! May I ask whom Nuri is & where does she come from, she looks Indonesian???

Well ladies we now have Indah pulling herself up to standing & I want my little Bubba back!!!!

Maddy & I went to see stick it at the movies (a fairly boring gymnastics movie) I wasnt rivetted when i left, but maddy enjoyed it!
We have my cousins popping in for lunch they like near Gippsland so it's a fair drive & one we were supposed to make, but her hubby has to pick something up from here so they called yesterday afternoon & said they'd come here instead we were actuially just ready to head there for the night! So instead i unpaceked & took Maddy to movie!

Cass, that's so sweet you'd want to mimick me!!! hee hee I think to ne realistic & know they will go through similar situations to us, just give them to maturity & courage to make their own decisions!!!

Ok I gotta go buy some cheese for the fresh crusty bread rolls we are having for lunch!

OOOH BTW.... I GOT MY PERIOD!!!!!!! 9 days late? Hmmm, never had that b4, but I told ya I wasnt preg!!!!

Hey mummy2kaitlyn, Yep i had a natural birth all 40 HOURS of it!! So yeah i fell in love with my epidural in the end. The reason it was so long was because Hannah's head was stuck and i ended up needing the vaccume after i had already been pushing for 2 hours (she hadn't moved a mm in all that time mind you :|) But they're definatly worth it. Do you think your going to have anymore? I want to try for my next one around this time next year.

Hi Barly1, I love updating Hannah's site (lol) it seems like i spend half my life doing different things to it. Yes Nuri is from Indonesia, very good (lol) . . . Her Tribe or Group is called "Betawi" i don't know if that means any thing to you but yeah, I'm not even 100% what it's all about. :) I'm glad you and your hubby are together and happy now, i can't wait until John and i can be like that.

Hi Girls ...its quiet in here!.

Wow Janene ...40 hours!!!!!!! Kaitlyn had the suction in the end as well as she was so big it was hard for me to get her out that last little bit ...I actually told DH I wanted more now as I was pushing her out hehehehe. But I am about to head back to work part-time so I am not sure when the next one will come ...soon I hope!.

We spend the day in centenial park for a friends Bday which was nice . We had Kaitlyn , 3 kids running around , plus a 10month old and a 2month old....oh yeah and a fair few adults to hehehehe. DH took Kaitlyn to watch the ducks which she loves and he told me I could stay and relax if I went up and bought him a coffee when he came back ...I agreed but then he said he would go up if I watch Kaitlyn ..then my sister went to help him and took Kaitlyn HAHAHAHA so I had abotu an hour sipping Champagne and actually finishing conversations!!!!. Kaitlyn was such a good girl even though she only had a quick 45min nap in the morning and was then up until 3pm...plus she did not eat anything as the world was just to exciting!. So she had dinner at 4pm when we got home ....scoffed a beef/veal/vege dish I made her plus 1/2 an Avo ..hungry princess.

Started packing ...scary but exciting!. Already have 3 people interested in renting our unit as we dropped pamplets in the mailboxes of our block. We have had one lady call who has a friend interested , plus a couple that we know and who have been renting another place in here for ages but really like ours are interested , and then someone called the agent who is also been given it to lease it ...Plus Louise came to look at it ..so that is four!. Anyway I dont think we will have any trouble renting it so I am really happy about that. The agent has asked for $340.00 per week and she is showing someone on Tues or weds ..so that is great...covers our new rent plus some!.

So girls ...I am ready for more finger food inspiration!. Kaitlyn is getting bored. I have made her some meatballs tonight so I am going to try her on those tomorrow. Might also give whole cooked carrots and broccoli ...any other ideas?.

Sorry no time for personals. Hope everyone and all the bubbas are well though. Have to finish packing and getting organised for Hobart, have a shower and dress us both, feed Lucie about 9.30/10am and throw her in the car and head to Ballina airport. Phew! And she wouldn't sleep last night so I am knackered. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Anyway I have net access at my mums, so will be back on tomorrow.

Hey Trace, that's how we feed Zac at dinner too! He flat out refuses to be fed & has been trying to use his spoon himself :eek: what a mess!! I am onlly allowed to feed him his brekky, the rest he must do himself!!

Cass, for finger foods, cut up some apple, cheese sticks , slices of bananna, just think healthy & try that! Zac always gets bombarded with food handed to him, mostly from the kids, which annoys me most of the time, coz I dont know he has anything, & it's usually something he shouldn't have! Although my DH hols the record for giving him BAD food, he still hasn't been forgiven for the mint patty incident! I've put a photo of him & his mint patty on his web, EVIDENCE.......

Zac had one of those nights lastnight. he woke up every 20 mins from 1am to 4 am, uncovered & cranky! This morning his nose is running. OH bother, how the heck can I keep him covered at night, apart from tieing him down?

Well we have an agent bringing a few people through our unit tomorrow and also another lady coming through tomorrow night to look at our unit ...so fingers crossed I think it will be leased by tomorrow!.

I tried Kaitlyn on some steamed carrot qtrs and steamed broccoli pieces today ....Plus I made her some meatballs as well . She liked them all but of course most of it ended up on the floor hehe. I tell you the one thing she is sure not to drop is her pieces of cheese ...she loves them!.

She had her first ever injury today :-( ...she fell forward while trying to crawl and she cut her lip with one of her toofies....she was bleeding and her little lip started to swell. So I quickly put her dummies in the freezer and spent the next hour just swapping dummies to keep her iced!. Anyway thankfully she is aok and is sleeping happily now.

We had a SHOCKER of a night last night ..like you storm!. Kaitlyn was up every 45mins or so from 1230am-430am...so tired. Luckily when she got up to start the day at 630am DH let me sleep in and he fed her played with her and then she went back down at 8am ...then I got up at 830am ...ahhhh nice!

Thanks all for the good travel vibes - she really was quite good - slept the flight to Sydney, ate her lunch and played in the airport and then slept an hour of the flight to Hobart. Was a monkey last night though and didn't want to sleep or drink her milk (but what's new eh?).

Soph I am glad you had a nice trip. Kaitlyn is still not sleeping either arghhhh . Mind you I have spotted two eye teeth coming through I think...and the middle ones are lumpy. So I think she is getting four teeth at once...I wouldnt be sleeping either!.

Storm ..whohoo on Zac hittin 9kgs!

Well we showed our unit today to four different groups today. One professional couple seemed to really like it and came back again tonight to see it again so I am pretty sure they will put an application ...plus a young couple with an 11month old and two cats ..hahahahah just like us but 9 1/2month bub!!! so I think they will put in application as our unit is very cat friendly. Then two other people who liked it but not sure if they will apply ..plus a neighbour popped in and was very disappointed as it was to much for her as she wanted to move in !. So fingers crossed we will have two applications at least tomorrow.

I also found a new childcare centre around the corner for our new house...so I thought I would go check it out today. I swear I almost left in tears ....I did not see the teachers speak to any of the kids...in the 15mins I was there I did not see the lady in the baby room talk to any of the kids ONCE.....they were handing her things and interacting with her and she was just not saying anything. There was a 7month old baby screaming in its rocker and I said poor baby ..the lady commented that it was the babies first day and wanted to be held all the time!!!!...no one said anything to the baby or tried to comfort her in anyway ....then when the bottle was warm the lady left her in the rocker and fed it to her ( no cuddles) while another child stood their and pulled the babies shoes off ...god I am upset just thinking about it. Anyway I walked out of there and drove straight to the one that is further away and more expensive and booked Kaitlyn in immediatly....no amount of time or money saving would drive me to put her somewhere I dont feel comfortable with ...god it really upset me. This poor mum has not idea how distressed her child was today...I am sure they are nice and all....and for older children it may be ok ..but babies need to be loved and nurtured....oh well off my band wagon ...getting upset again!.

Other then that we had a quiet day ...went for a nice walk and Kaitlyn played in the park!....then she sat up and played until almost 830pm...cheeky bugger. Fingers crossed she sleeps tonight...all I want is unbroken sleep until 430am like I used to get!. Now it is up every hour for up to an hour from 1230 onwards ..........so tired!.

Cass - Fingers crossed for unit renting for you. That childcare place sounds horrible and I would have done exactly the same as you. It must have been really tough for you to see that. Hope you are ok. Did you get a better night sleep last night? We didn't and muffit is on starvation too. These 4 top teeth are soooooo close to coming which I think is the cause of it all too, I JUST WISH THEY'D HURRY UP!

Ah Fletch I've read the mag but didn't even realise Zane was in it. Now I'll be grabbing it as soon as I get home to have a look!

Well, I have a terrible cold, & couldn't sleep last night, Zac was being a pain too, I ended up getting him a bottle at 6am WTF I haven't had to do that since he was 3 weeks old!!!! I think he was really thirsty, he has a cold too, but then I couldn't go back to sleep. I finally feel asleep about 7 30 & my poor bigger kids had to organise themselves for school, I feel awful! I got up just as the girls were leaving & Amy had done Kaitlyns hair! Oh I feel like the worlds worst mother today.:(

Soph and Cass,

Jack has his 4 top teeth almost there too!!! They are so big and bulging and giving him hell too!! Every night for the last week he has woken up crying and in pain, a couple of times each night, but I pop his dummy in and a bit of bonjela and in a few mins he's rolled over and back to sleep.:pray:
I just wish they would hurry up and cut thru!!! For all our bubbas!

Well apart from Jack's teeth giving him hell, he will probably be on a big poster in Target soon!!! I signed him up for some baby modelling for a bit of fun, and he had his first photoshoot yesterday!!!! So I'll have to let u guys know when...

Better go and organize tea and animals and cook SIL a birthday cake for her b'day 2moro... So much for me wanting an early night!!!:rolleyes:

Alex and Soph ...so hear you on the teeth thing. I can see Kaitlyns eye teeth but not the middle ones....by the way do you think you can give to much bonjella?. I just gave Kaitlyn a dose in the dark and I think I gave her to much . I usually give it in the dark and give a good round dollup....should it be spread on your index finger???? ...guess I never thought about it ..just squeeze and apply.

Storm sounds like your kids are bloody brilliant!. Imagine the alternate...them jumping on your bed screaming for you to get them ready. Sounds like you have raised a great bunch of mature people who are growing into responsible adults. The only thing you should be upset about is how big your babies are obviously getting !.

Fletch that sounds like so much fun!!! I should do something like that with Kaitlyn . Where do you get details of when concerts are on?.

Well our home is rented!.....the professional couple I really liked put their application in first thing this morning..even paid a deposit to secure them being checked first!. I am SOOOOO excited...the agent even got us more then we expected...mind you it is a GREAT unit and I guess I did not really know its worth. They are just such a lovely couple ..seem clean and I just feel they will look after the place...yaya!. So they move in about 1 week after we move out so it gives me lots of time to clean in all the noks and crannies that have been hidden for the 6years we have been here!.

Also spoke to my new boss and asked her if she was ok with me working slightly different hours..as I want to work 730amish - 4pmish and she said no problems...so good!.

Kaitlyn is still trying to crawl ...but just cant move forward. She can pull herself up onto all fours from her tummy and can also get into the same position from a sitting position ...she rocks back and forth or moves backwards comando ...but just cant move forward yet!.

She also discovered a new game today ..thumb your head into the mirror and then laugh!!...funny thing.

Has anyones little bubs started to make the move to a morning bottle and evening bottle only? Kaitlyn totally refused her 12pmish bottle today.

oh gave Kaitlyn cows milk for the first time today in a vege/pasta/cheese thing I made her ...man she loved it!.

Ok...have nawed your ears off enough !

Alex and Cass - Oooooooooooooooooh I am so with you guys on this horrible teething business. When are they coming????? I can see the white lines now but they just refuse to cut right through. And too much bonjella???? Not sure but I reckon you're pretty safe Cass.

Cass - Oh I am so grumpy re Prison Break. I was excited last night and went to watch it but in Tassie it was an old episode, so now I have missed the current one. I am soooo upset. Will have to hunt around when I get back home to see if someone taped it. And Lucie is hating her middle bottle too (nothing new there hey!), but I'm persisting until I see the paed Tuesday to ask about bottles. This morning she really wouldn't take her first bottle either, but I put her back in her cot when I went to get some bonjella, and when I lifted her back up she did a huge sharp sounding burp, so think that may have been the prob! Anyway after a dolop of the good stuff bonjella she was a bit more keen on the milk. Will let you know what the paed says about milk intake at this stage. Am sooooo keen to ditch bottles if I can start giving munchkin some sort of calcium and iron supplement instead. Would make both our lives so much more pleasant and a heap less stressful for me!

Brooke - Wow tired girl. It's great she calls for DH I reckon, gives you a break!

Alex - You will definately have to tell us which poster it is. What a star. You must be a very proud mummy.

Storm - You are sooooo not the world's worst mum. You are pg remember and your kids are gold I think for doing that too. Teaches them responsibility. You should be very proud.

Ah well I am over being on hols here. It's very hard because everything is soooooo unchild-friendly here and even feeding solids is difficult because I don't have all my stuff set up IYKWIM. Plus I'm stuck without a car most of the time and it's driving me nuts, may as well be at home! Ok whinge over. Hope you all have a good day and hurry up all these teeth!
