Well what a way to start!!!!!!!!!! A !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to come clean and admit that i did test on Wed but got a very, very faint line...i thought i was imagining it. So iwent for a BT and got back the wonderful results!!!!!!!!!!! I'm only early - about 3-4 wks...and on Wed my HCG levels were 58 - so i'm guessing they've doubled by now I've also told our RL friends and fam (Fletchy!!!!) so they didn't find out through bb iykwim. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - i'm thrilled to bits. Ella's gonna be a big sister!!!!!!!!
Now Soph - today MUST be your day!!!!!!!!
That's awesome news, awwww, so many preggo's in here now!!!
I am not, got AF today (was due y'day & had spotting & then nothing & started to wonder, but no... That's Ok I think I want a february bub... hee hee so I got til next year to get my Ovulation time calculated!!!
Thanks girls!!!!!!!
Trace - sorry to hear about the bunks - and AF - but yeah, good idea to get your cycle sorted.
Fletch - yep - i'm soooooo damn excited that i can post all over the shop...i feel like screaming it from the rooftops - lol. Check out my new sig too!
Alex - yay - belly buddies at last
Any news on Soph?
Hope Jo is enjoying her holiday too!
Oh Rae sooooo excited for you matey. Massive congrats!
Ok selfish post now Ob clinic this morning. Bub is still floating and not engaged, so they went to do an internal and stretch and sweep but my cervix is firmly closed. So doesn't look like bub is coming anytime soon. Have to go back on Wednesday for a CTG to make sure bub is ok. They'll only let me go 10-12 days over depending on how things are going. BP still fine which is the one good thing! I DON'T WANT TO BE INDUCED Poor MIL and FIL leave Tuesday, they will be so crabby if they aren't here for the birth! And Lucie is really used to them now so would be good if it happens while they are here and not soon after my mum arrives - Lucie won't remember her at all.
Ok enough whining from me, oh except phone still hasn't arrived, should be this arvo though, so all your numbers will be in it for me to text when the big day FINALLY arrives.
Awwww Soph, big hugs! Bubby must be so comfy in there he doesn't want to come out!Atleast your BP is doing the right thing! I hope it happens soon for you, you must be so exhausted!
Awww Soph - sorry to hear that! Sending you heaps of hugs and LV's too...and yep hot curry and lots of BD sounds good.
Thanks again girls I'm off to the plaza to buy some more preg books - i think i'll get my own copy of Up The Duff - as i only got to read a bit of it whilst preg with El when my best friend Bess was up with hers. It was a crack up. Another baby name book too...i'll never choose a girls name...maybe that's because i'm having a boy???? We'll find out in a few months i guess. Also gonna get some more Palmer's Cocoa-butter cause i didn't get a single SM last preg when i used it religiously - hope it's the same this time! And i might even have a squizz in Pumpkin Patch at the newborn and maternity stuff! Yay - i love being in baby mode!!!!!!!
Fletch - ok -open your arms really wide cause i'm sending you a massive pile of baby dust and sticky vibes. This weekend some swimmers are gonna be camping out in your tubes, ready for the egg to arrive!!!!!!
Ok - will chat again soon...off to do some shopping!
AAAAAWWWWW Soph, hugglie wugglies to you.... Your doing such a good job of baking this little MISS, that she doesnt want out! Dont worry about your IL's if they miss out, that's not your fault, blame it on their grandchild, as they will never be abgry at a new precious baby!!!
Ok, no P'off & go eat a curry, DTD & maybe ask FIL if he wants to come to your next appt (that might scare missy into coming out!)..
I learnt somethng today instead of making Zac sit in his high chair to NOT eat his lunch, I worked out that if I sit him on his sofa with his lunch he eats SOME of it. Mind you I have been picking up soggy bits of bread here & there, but at least he ate some
So yay me!!
Storm - Yeap I do the same thing now. If I sit Lucie on my lap I can sometimes get her to eat off a spoon (shock horror!) with the Wiggles on (I know ALL the words to the Big Red Car DVD, how sad!). Otherwise I put a plate of food (usually pasta!) on the coffee table and she helps herself. Or I put stuff in her hand while she walks around and she just automatically eats it. Ahhhhh the tricks we play on our children.
Ah Fletchie will be up the duff before we know it!
Ok now I have the runs and I just had a big blob of yellowy cm (nice how we all share these things isn't it LOL!). So fingers crossed there is still hope for the near future. Ok gotta run. Muffet slept for 2 hours this morning and this arvo so far has been asleep over an hour! I'm missing her! MIL likes looking after her though I think.
Acupunture was interesting - never been before. Have another appt 9.30am Monday. Going to go for a long walk today and try and drink about 10 litres of RLT.
