WOW at Gemma getting up on here knees Kirsty! Zac hasn't made it that far yet!Wont be long to we have to reorganise the house & put all my delicate froggies up out of reach!!

    How is everybody this morning?
We're having a nap before we go back to the heart specialist & have the hydrocele checked again this morning. Will let you all know how he goes.
I think Yvette did ask me ages ago what the hydrocele was: it's fluid leaking into the testes cos a tube didn't seal (or something along those lines.) If it doesn't repair itself by 12 months then it's surgery, to put a clamp on it. . Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that, but he still has a large floppy ball & a nice neat little one so not looking too good.
Last visit, though, the dr did say that his heart was sounding good, so hoping it sounds perfect today.

Ok must go I want to hang some washing before we go & I am running out of time..... typical.
    Take care lovely ladies.

    Hi Girls

Kirsty - Maria is going well, she has adapted really well to childcare, she seems to like her toys more at home now as well, not shaw if this is related to her 2 days at cc yet or not. The big test will be next week when I start work as well. Wow at Gemma getting up on her knees, Maria isn't doing this yet, but she is starting to get the hang of moving on the mat.

Soph - mainly do wedding cakes and christenings, normal formal iced ones etc etc. Have just delivered the cake for today's wedding.

    Hiya ladies

Kirst..so nice of you to pop in. Wow at Gem being up on her knees..the clever lil pumpkin. Has she settled well into daycare? Are you working full time or part time? Sorry..lol a thousand ??! Goodluck ttcing...it wont be long now!!!

Hiya Storm(jo). Hope the appt goes well with Zac today. Fingers crossed its good news for you and if it isnt well theres still another 6 months to go.

Louise you must feel great your cake is finished. Do you do that as a business or for friends and stuff. Gosh you are talented.

Well we had our other baby and mummy class today with more singing and musical instruments. It wasx really great. Sammy loved playing the instruments. He is the youngest there..but like the instructor has said..all ages appreciate music. He was so tired he fell asleep on the drive home...poor baby. He had a particularly restless night too last night..up 4 times..so im feeling as tired as tired can be.

Anyway..little fella has had enough of being on the mat...

Jo - Hope Sammy has settled dwon a bit for you. Lucie has been a bit restless the last few nights too.

Louise - Wow you are very talented. Don't worry, Maria will be zooming around soon, just like my little pocket rocket!

Hello Kirsty matey, how is the TTC going?

Storm - Great that Zac's heart sounds good. Fingers crossed the hydrocele decides to repair itself quick smart.

Today Lucie is wearing some cargo pants for the first time and a mtaching top. She looks so cute! Does anyone notice that they look heaps bigger in tops and pants than in jumpsuits?

Had our scan on Friday and #2 is measuring right on - heartbeat is strong. So this is really happening  We have now told everyone, they all think we are mad.

    Hi Girls,

Sorry I have not been on for a couple of days DH has been bringing home DVD's so we have been catching up with some nice movie nights hehe.

I cant believe Lucie is crawling !!!!! I really want Kaitlyn to start but I think it may be a little while. Anyway once she is up and moving she will only chase the poor Cats who are already hiding places when they know I am coming looking for them with her

Storm I am sorry to hear about poor Zac , it is the hardest thing playing the waiting game ..oh to be able to see into the future !.

Soph I must be a little slow on the take as I have only just realised you are expecting your number 2 prince or princess!. That is great news...congrads. A friend of ours whos daughter is 1month older then Kaitlyn has just told us she is 8weeks pregnant. I say if you have the energy and are ready that is great it is so nice when kids are close together has they have playmates at home!. I always thought I would have mine really close together ..and probably should as my TTC days are kinda numbered as I have Endo...but I just dont have the energy yet

Had a really tough night with the pumpkin last night ...she woke at 155am and was pretty much awake on and off until 9am when we got her up. I finally feed her at 3am and she passed out half way through the bottle , then I was up at least a dozen times until I feed her again at 7am ...passed out on bottle again and then up about 3times until 9am when she got up . It was our worst night yet! Maybe it is the rash just annoying her ..or teething about to start.

Hope you are all having a nice weekend.

Thanks for the congrats Cass. Do you use a dummy with Kaitlyn? Just a question - maybe she hasn't actually been hungry just wants to suck. Everyone feels differently about them though. Lucie has been a bit restless too, but usually I can just give her her dummy and a quick pat and that's it. Maybe it is teeth, or a growth spurt?

    Hey Soph

Thanks for the advice in the sept bubs!Yeh ttc is going great! 8-[ We're only in our first month of ttc and I'm 4 dpo. Trying hard not to think about it to much.BB's are really sore but thats normal for me being on clomid again and all.Was hoping I wouldn't need it but my cycles after Gem were like 7 weeks apart so gyno suggested I go back as my cycles may start to get further apart again(as they were pre Gemma).

So hows Lismore?Did the move go alright? Can't believe you moved house with a 5 month old and your pregnant.Girl you must have been exhausted!!

Thanks Soph...yes I am a big fan of the dummy!. It is so funny how many things change when you actually have a baby...I was always saying "no Dummy" " I will ONLY breastfeed" " I will be a natural mother I am sure" mmmmmmmmm Was not able to breastfeed so expressed and then when onto to formula, started using a dummy two weeks in ..and I would not call myself a natural mother as it did take some adjustment before I felt settled!. Funny hey ..I am not the mum I imagined I would be ...but I am still happy with the mum I am !.

So that was a long winded answer to your Dummy questions hehe.

I think I am going to have to go back to letting her cry a little ...just a minute here and there rather then going straight in to comfort her and cuddle her. I used to do that and had to set the timer on the microwave as otherwise I would be in there are 10secs!.

Heheheheheh Cass, you sound just like me! I was always "no dummy, breastfeed only, no tv etc etc". I couldn't bf either - Lucie was really jaundiced and ended up having a second stint in hospital under lights with a nasal gastric tube. But I did express for 6 weeks until it nearly turned me insane. And dummy - I think that was about day 6! And Lucie loves the tv, which is handy when you have to try and do something! Is Kaitlyn eating much more for you at the moment?

Kirsty - Yeap the move was hard, especially as we were still travelling up to Bris to finish and clean the house, which should go on the market any day now. How is Gemma? She is sooooo cute!

Lucie is crawling around the floor as we speak. Very cute. She kinda crawls and drags herself along at the same time. Just tried her this morning on normal follow on formula instead of the thick stuff in teh hope she will want to drink more. Not sure how it will go but I will at least give it today. She has had a few little spewies though.

    Hey Soph

I hope you sell your house soon!

Gem seems a bit better this morning. The runny nose seems to have cleared up a bit and shes a lot perkier! She actually slept all night last night as apposed to hourly naps the night before!Yay!I think she was just so exhausted that the runny nose didn't bother her. I've taken the day off to be with her today, can't send her to daycare like this.Am a little ticked off with them though as she obviuously caught it from someone there as Corey and I ahven't been sick in months!Grrr at them....means someone didn't wash their hands or sneezed on her or something! :fuming:

Hi Girls it is not often I get to jump on in the afternoon but Kaitlyn is actually having a sleep longer then 45mins shhhhhhh

So funny isnt it Soph...having a little one has taught me never to judge someone until you are in their shoes as you just dont know how you will react to any life situation!. Kaitlyn is still not really wanting formula as much , especially her 5pm bottle she fusses and does not finish it then she scoffs her rice cereal or veges for dinner...is this what is called self weaning ???? I cant believe Lucie is moving about ..how cute!. What formula was she on that was thicker? what have you moved her to ?. I hope the house sale goes well , we have been trying to sell our investment unit since I was 3months pregnant!!!! argghhhhh want a house but cant until we sell both our units to finance it !!! Anyway cant afford it now until I go back to work I guess.

Kirsty I hope Gem is feeling better , Kaitlyn got a cold when she was about 3months....horrible hearing them in their sleep coughing or sniffing

Well better run ...it is only 330 pm but I have to start getting dinner ready ...sure you all know what that is like!

    Hi Girls

Well we have been to Tamworth for the weekend and got back late last night. Maria travelled really well back, but the trip to Tamworth was really trying. On the Friday night she only slept for 1/2 an hour between midnight and 4.30am, so at 5 am Angelo said we might as well get in the car and go. We got to Wyong and slept for an hour, but at least we got out of the Sydney traffic early and quickly. On top of the sleeplessness and travel I think I have caught a cold, Maria caught it from a friend/childcare/somewhere in Maria's little world, and I have got it from her, but I am starting to feel better which is good because I start work tomorrow.

I managed to finish my cake and deliver it, if anyone wants to see a picture I will email you a copy.

Kirsty - is Gem any better with her cold?

Cass - Yah for the long sleep, did you make something yummy for tea?

Hoping Gemma and Maria are both 100% again soon, poor little mites. Touch wood Lucie hasn't had a cold yet.

Cass - Yeah I try not to judge people now either, motherhood changes your perceptions so much I think. Lucie is on the AR formula. I changed her to teh follow on Karicare yesterday, but ended up ditching that idea for a while. She was spewier than usual. This morning she only wanted 110ml, but then had about a tablespoon of rice cereal (first time I've really given her breakfast). Drives me nuts when she won't take her milk, but she just doesn't like it very much.

Louise - Would love to see a pic of the cake. Email address is [email protected] Must have been nice to at least get away for a few days.

Jo - How are you going?

Well Lucie has her 6 month needles today. She had a shocker of a day yesterday - wouldn't eat or sleep during the day, and woke grizzling hourly last night. Wouldn't feed much this am either so not sure if the tooth is still giving her grief. Am feeling sick with nerves too cos they will probably weigh her today and I am sooooo scared she would have slipped off her chart. She needs to weigh over 6.6kg to still be on it, ideally around 7kg. [-o< that she has put a bit on. Will let you know at lunch time. Think I need to go and hug the toilet bowl, ms and nerves is a bad combination.........
