Storm how is Zac feeling?. Kaitlyn has had a cold for almost two weeks now!. Today was finally the first day I was carrying a tissue all day ..phew!. Man it is horrible when they cant kick the cold isnt it!.
Went to visit one of my girlfriends today who has a 18month old boy and a newborn little girl...ohhhh they are so cute and little!. Kaitlyn had a great day ..she did not sleep the whole time we were there which was about 4 hours and unheard of for her!. She was just so interested in her son ...they took toys from each other all day and she just watched him Was so nice as I know she really enjoyed it ..she just loves other little people!. And my friends new little bub is sooooooooo cute...makes me clucky :shock:
Gotta run and watch Prison Break ...the lead actor is a BABE!.

Zac is all better thanks Cass it is so horrid when they have a cold, especially the drippy nose! Skin infection just about all cleared too \:D/
Isn't it awsome when our bub's interact with other bubs? My g/f has a 14month old & it is great watching him & Zac "play" together.
I am going to get my belly button pierced today, Yikes.

Hi Everyone,
Well Easter was a bit of downer for us. I got gastro (thanks childcare), Maria got Bronchiolitis and ended up in emergency at Tamworth Hospital (on the mend now) and Angelo got a cold. We are all now getting better but not what we planned for our trip to Tamworth.
Maria teething on top of the bronchiolitis doesn't help.
Hope everyones bub are fine.

Louise hope you and Maria and Angelo are all on the mend now you poor thing. Its awful when sickness strikes when you have plans. I know exactly what you mean as we had a big trip planned at Christmas and everybody here cept me had chickenpox!
Oh wow Storm wtg honey!!! My tummy is not flat enough for me to get my bb pierced..i wish though! I had my tongue pierced a few years ago though and that didnt hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. Glad to hear little Zac is doing better too..how are the kiddies enjoying the school hols?
PMSL Fletchie at Slugger! Too cute...its funny the names we come up with. Sammy is still lil fella to us...lil man,lil boy,podge. Whoohooo on the commando crawling too...Sammy gets around very slowly..lol..still hasnt worked that out..but then wants to get in his walker and chase the kids around the house! Whoohooo on getting out in his cloth nappies. I had thought about doing that too but have left it a bit late i think.
Awww clucky Cass??? It is so cute when you put bubs together. Its like they have their own little ways of communicating isnt it.
Georgie thats great you were able to leave James with you mum..lol...grandparents are so cute. Darren and I have decided that we are going to be brave and leave Sammy with Mum for the first time on Monday night and go and see a movie. I think he will be fine as he will have the girls with him as well..hes much more confident with them than leaving him with Mum alone. Hes a very sensitive sooky one! So while I am looking forward to going out for the first time without him I am very nervous as well.

Well weve been having a very busy week. My brother Dave leaves back to Broome tomorrow. It will be sad seeing him go..the kids have just had so much fun with him.

Ohh Jo, Have a great time bowling! I feel your nervs about leaving Sammy, but go on, you deserve a nice night out with Darren. Sammy will be fine! We haven't embarked on that yet, I just dont wanna go anywhere with out Zac :rolleyes: except to the local shops when Daddy is home with him.
Ouch, ouch ouch, I got it done, man talk about sting! That is the most adventurous thing I have done to my body yikes, wonder what DH is gonna say when he gets home????????????? :-k hope he likes it

Hi guys! This is realllyquick - at an internet cafe and $2 for 15 mins!!!! Hope you are all ok. Lucie is on starvation again - totally off solids and not wanting milk. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. And she is constantly being held by all the visitors - will be a nightmare when it's justme again!

Oh Storm I had my bb pierced too. I took it out ages ago but thescar stretched when I had Lucie - yuk!

Ouch storm on the piercing!. I have my ears pierced but I dont think I would go anywhere else . But I must admit I have a tattoo on my bum ! ...I had it done when I was 21 and it is of a cute lion cub on a log ...and I LOVE IT! . It took over an hour to do and KILLED I nearly passed out three times and I have a high pain threshold. But it was well worth it!. My DH has three tattoos ( mmm makes him sound like a biker!) one of them he had done when Kaitlyn was born and it is her name and the K has a Crown on it ....so sweet!. I said he better be careful as if we have 5 kids he is in trouble finding room for all their names hehe.

Kaitlyn pushed herself backwards across the floor today which was very exciting . Luckily I had the video camera out as the phone rang and was talking to some telemarketer as she did it but I got it on camera!. When I told the telemarketer that I had just filmed my daughter crawl backwards while talking to him and therefore he will be forever on my video as part of history he told me he would let me go ...must use that one more often! hahahaha
IT was such a nice day as she was in such a good mood and so loving and playful. Dont you just like those days that are smooth , fun and just really easy and perfect! LOVE THEM!

Its true! not to mention all the extra washing and cleaning for those that went away . I have just cleaned my place top to bottom..I love the smell of all the cleaning fluids haha

It is so very quiet. I'm kinda flat out amusing the big kids on holidays...., sorry.
WE are going away to Stockinbingal next week, yippee I get to see my mummy!! \:D/
Zac is being really good, having all his bottles & solids & still wanting more!!(sorry Soph) I hope he keeps it up.

Brooke..oh yeah recovery time...we still have chocolate everywhere though! Fortunately Sammy hasnt noticed it.
Well we are at home today. The kids are happy just not having anything to do. Its so funny..they have all been making a cubby outside..industrious little souls with chicken wire...sticks and pavers :shock: Not really sure why we bought them a $1200 cubby on stilts for cos they arent in that!!!

Cass, nothing wrong with guys covered in tatt's & riding a motorbike... My Dh (look at my pic's in Indah's link!) is covered in tatts & rides a Harley... He is not at all scary!!!

Jo, It's always the way... If you buy them something they prefer the box! So ofcourse they'll build their own cubby with scraps!! hee hee as long as they are having fun...

Tummy is Ok, thanks Jo, still a bit sore, well not sore really, just kinda pinchy. :-k I dunno how to describe it........ So true about the cubby, mine have done the same thing, with the tramp & some old blankets.
DH loved it Trace thank god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oooooo on the puppy. I still have 6 go pass on here. Only advertised them today, silly really cos we go away next week...

Well ive been shopping madly for Jess today...shes 12 on wednesday...its so hard to believe..it wasnt that long ago she was just a babe in my arms! Oh and Sammy has started clapping hands...its sooooo cute...he gets confused at first and claps his legs then gets back to clapping his hands beaming around at us all!

Awww Cass she sounds gorgeous! Im hoping Storm was meaning THAT eggie lol...otherwise I feel silly too! We are having a party for Jess....she is having 5 friends sleep over and we are all going out for dinner and a movie and having a jelly fight :shock: her idea!!!! Every year I say we will have a party every second year lol but havent done it sooo far..i feel mean not going all out each year for them all. Emmy already her scary party with her whole class planned out in 6 weeks time! 8-[

Hope you are all having a restful ANZAC day. We have just gotten back from ours. Emmy was singing in the choir and Jess was reciting a piece she wrote. They both did really well. It was so cute...all the bubbies were congregating together. I was hoping Sammy might be a bit inspired by the crawling ones lol but they seemed more keen in him that he was in them!

wow it is quiet in here isnt it!.
That is so wonderful that the girls are involved in the celebrations!. We had a quiet day ...Kaitlyn refused to sleep pretty much all day so I was so thankful that DH was home!. We just went down to coogee and had lunch at a cafe on the beach which was nice. Kaitlyn munched on her new fav food which is cottage cheese with pureed apricots ..it is actually really yum!.
Hope all the other mums and bubs are having a nice day off.

8-[ Just quickly popping in... With work & family I have been a rather busy one!!!
Had a lovely few days off & now back into it...
It is making me sad to see how quickly Indah is growing... I think #3 is on the cards for very very soon!!!!
Ok, hope everyone is welln & I hope Jess's b'day goes really well...
I popped into a house that had a Toy sale sign out the front & grabbed a stack of stuff @$5 each... For Birthdays, I got a Hot Wheels Skateboard (I'm sure any kid would love that compared to the crap I see at parties!) Plus a Tonka truck build it yourself out of wood kit thingy, some girls computer hand help things (?) Plus a couple of various football team over night bags with footballs, caps, drink bottles & a cap!!
I usually spend up to $15, & really choose for the particular kid, but Maddy's last b'day she got a porcelain snow white & a thing of paints!!! off some kid that we'd boughta great toy for... So now I try toi grab good stuff but on special & I have a cupboard full of stuff, but I now limit it to $10 & as these are good presents for $5 that's my luck!!!
She also got a bag of wooden beads & fishing line oncE!!! I know it's the thought that counts, but I think sometimes some parents just make no effort!!!

They sound like great bargains Trace. I have to agree though...the girls have had some pretty ****ty presents in the past too..though they tend to be more from friends that arent in their closest group. I find it so hard knowing what to get boys lol!
Well party is over..was a huge success. We did Karaoke,went bowling,went out for dinner and did a jelly fight. Jess is so pleased and i am so pleased its over lol.
Sammy has had so much fun interacting with everyone though he is very tired and sooky now. Ive just put him to bed for a sleep and hopefully he will wake up in a gorgeous mood.
We went and saw Yours Mine and Ours yesterday(DH came too as he has had a few days holiday) and has come back saying wants to have another baby :shock: so we could have the two little ones together.I couldnt even think about it now..it would feel like betraying Sammy(for me anyway so i know im not ready at all) but i said i would think about it...Do you think i am mad even considering it???
