Hi all!
OMG Kaz, I had a huntsman named Fred when I was living in a little old house in Merrylands. I was living alone and had to name him so I wouldn't freak out whenever he materialised :) Sorry to hear you have to go back to work so soon. I echo everyone else here: money sucks. I sure as heck wouldn't go back if I didn't have to.
Oh MadB, 00s! I've washed the hand-me-downs but we're not quite there yet :)
Hee hee Jules :) You're very kind to be baking for DH's workmates! They must love you :)
EJ I'm glad you got some you time! Even if it did involve deliberate infliction of pain :)
Thanks all for the good wishes for the baptism - it was an awesome day! Millie screamed like mad when she was dunked but the second the congregation started applauding, she stopped crying, stuck her little head out from the towel, and stickybeaked her way around the church. What a diva! She was a champ at the party afterwards too, happy to be passed around for lots of cuddles. DH and I were just so proud, it really was a joyful day :)
AND... she appears to have avoided the cold thus far. Knock on wood! I'm still suffering with it, it's hanging around like a bad smell. Grr!
I hope you're all well! Take care :)

Hi girls, i haven't been able to keep up too well since the weekend. It was busy with kiddie parties and family dinners. We're all pretty good here. Harper is now 5360kg which i am told is a little below average for her age but nothing to be concerned about. She's grown 3.5cm since she was last measured and i'm told she's above average in height. She's just perfect to us. She's been a little moody lately but i think it's just the busy weekend and the interupted sleeps. I'm going to be a little selfish and leave it at that and go to bed. I'm not staying up to do any sewing this week i need to catch up on a lot of sleep.
I hope everyone is well and will try and catch up with you all soon xox

hey all,
Pixie - I'm glad the baptism went well, I need to get myself going and start to organise Charlie's.
Madb - Yes we have also started pulling out the 00's Charlie is such a budda.
EJ -I hope you have a good night sleep.
Night all

just a stupid question what is a RAK recipient.
-
It's random act of kindness. Means someone bought you a platinum membership as a gift.
-
Oh wow, congrats Cathie!!!!
Will is doing well, moving him into his own room, starting with day naps.

Hi all!
EJ, Millie has been a bit crabby this week too after her big weekend. Hope she's settled down for you :)
Hi Cathie, you might have a bit of lead time for Charlie's baptism - some churches don't baptise during Lent. Ours doesn't anyway, so we snuck in by the skin of our teeth!
Kaz, how's Will going in his own room? Hope he's settling in okay.
Had Millie weighed and measured today, she's 6.1kg (omg) and apparently still 61cm... she was measured on different scales and by a different nurse so I kinda wonder... the weight I wouldn't quibble with but I know she's grown in length since last time.
I've been using MCNs so far this week - all day yesterday and half of today! Used peapods yesterday (pretty good fit but the trifold bamboo insert is bulky and takes ages to dry) and hippybottomus today (awesome - and actually quite cheap).
Hope everyone is well - take care!

Well done on using the MCNs PP, I've just gone into my stash and pulled out all the mediums as Will's moving into them! And so cute!!!!
*yawn* Just catching up on today tonight, then we're off to bed. Which is sorta hiding under the Foldmore Ranges. grrrr. any takers?
So far so good - had an appt with a lawyer this evening, took everyone and they thought that Will (in his capsule) was a basket of groceries :( until he started crying!
-
i did foldmore today... fun!
hippybottomus - what an awesome brand name!
-
Will slept in his own room last night, from around 9:30 until 7:30 this morning. The least he could have done is whinge cause he wasn't near me!!!
-
WOW! did you get heaps of sleep?
-
nope. DH did - I went to take the cats out and then thought about the bins, by the time I did the bins, the cats, the dogs etc, it was 12:30 :(
-
damn! Better luck tonight
-
yeah :) just watching the news - 5.77kg newborn!!!!!! And they said she didn't have GD! OUCH!
He's very unsettled today, and DH & I just had a huge arguement - DH can't wait for me to go back to work so I don't nag him about Will crying too much :(
-
Kaz, what a good boy Will is! Glad he didn't take the transition badly. He must be a very secure little boy :) I've been scaling Washmore and Foldmore myself today, and added to it by spending the Pumpkin Patch voucher Millie was given on Sunday. Oh, so very cute... nice for her to have something other than Target/Big W/Best & Less for once!
MadB I love the name too :) it's a Sydney based SAHM business - she wants to promote cloth nappying so keeps her prices down. I'll definitely be buying more, nary a leak in sight.
I'm finally recovering from this cold - it's nice to be able to breathe through my nose! Hope you're all well.
...bummer about limited sleep and argument Kaz :( Hope you're okay. I saw that report on the news too - hoooooly cow. That's one big baby.

wow. IM-PRESS-IVE!
A woman at Dave's work had a 12-pounder (whatever that is) all natural.
That sucks Kaz

Hi girls not catching up too much lately, i'm having the computer off during the day lately and i'm really trying to go to bed earlier. Got Harper in bed by 7:30pm tonight without too many tears!! She did alot of sound sleeping today, i think she had some growing to do. I've been using my hugabub with Harper front facing lately and she's loving it. She's not the most co-operative little shopper and does not like the pram at all so putting her in the hugabub, Charlie in the pram and Aidan walking or sitting on Charlie's foot rest and we manage to get around quite well. As long as everyone is in a good mood and behaves ;)
Charlie boy is 2 tomorrow!!! My little man isn't my baby so much anymore. We've got him a little BMX bike and some Thomas train tracks. I'm going to blow some balloons up and DH is going to go into work a bit later so we can have presents in the morning with him. Depending on weather and timing we might also go into the city for a look at Moomba on Friday. We'll have a BBQ lunch with family on Monday.
My girlfriend had her bub on Monday. She was actually born at 36.5 weeks. Her waters broke in the morning and her baby was breech (which she knew) so she had a ceaser. All are well and she's a gorgeous little girl.
PP i think i might have to try some of those nappies. Which ones did you get? I have Harper in a mixture of sml and med now too. And she is in some 00's now also. They really are growing.
Loving the pictures of the kiddies :)
