Kaz - So you start this coming Tuesday? good luck Hope they find you a nice spot for your expressing. That's fantastic. Glad to hear Will is doing well.

PP - I'm loving the weather too!! We haven't had to use the a/c for about three weeks now, it's been so lovely, and every day I've been going downstairs and laying out a blanket for me and Jacob, he LOVES his outdoor time, yesterday we spent just over an hour outside. It was inspired by you Oh and you'll be pleased to know I have ordered some nappies!!!!! I'm sooooo excited, I should get them Monday or Tuesday I'm hoping...I can definately feel the addiction coming on!!Jacob is getting a bit like that, he would prefer to be held by myself or DH, he's really checking out strangers before he gives them any kind of smiles etc... my cautious little man Oh no!!! was DH able to save them? I have my fingers crossed for you!!! Sounds like you had a lovely time with your MG! And that's great news about the kinderkot!! I had no idea what they were so I checked them out, so cute!

Crumpet - the picnic sounded lovely, poor Summah Jacob loves watching bigger babies/kids...whenever i'm up north with my family he watches my nephews every move, so cute. Now that I've just admitted to everyone how unsuccesful our day sleeps are he's been amazing....sleeping in his cot for a few hours at a time!! I'm so happy

Cathie - Have a WONDERFUL time with the family!!! Well deserved holiday Can't wait to see pics when you return!

AFU - we're doing great - Jacob has recovered from his needles. He's been wonderful with his sleeps too!!! He has been sleeping in his cot during the day for a few hours at a time, I'm sooooo stoked. I knew it'd happen eventually. Oh, and he's started feeding three hourly again. went to the MCN yesterday and he weighs 7.3kgs - his weight gain has slowed down - only 145 grams in two weeks, but she said that's normal and she's still happy. Made me doubt my milk, but he's happy so I'm sure he's not hungry!

Gotta go, he's waking up xoxo

Still the house of sickness here

Since i last posted Charlie boy had a night of vomiting (so much wrose than cleaning up milk vomit ) and then it was his turn to sleep in our room so i could hear every noise. Thankfully he got over the vomiting quickly he's just a little grumpy.

Now i have DH in bed sick (it's soooooo much worse when they are sick ) So once again i'm washing bedding, towels, disinfecting EVERYTHING, and washing my hands after i touch anything that could be slightly germy. So far it hasn't gotten me and if it does i dont' know what i'll do, the place will fall apart.

Harper thankfully though is her beautiful little self and Aidan James is his cheeky self. I just want to hurry up and get this over with.

Amoungst all of that i just had a phone call from my MIL to say happy wedding anniversary!! Which i honestly and no idea of. She's always remembers it for us, i think it being the day before her birthday helps. So we've been married 6 years today, we have 3 beautiful kids and many wonderful memories already. Wow i still can't get over how i had absolutely no idea

I'm going to wash my hair before Harper wakes, sorry about the lack of personals still ladies i will try and catch up soon i promise xox

Kaz we find that Harper pulls her ear or rests her hand on her right ear quite a bit. My first thought is always ear infection but she never had any signs of illness. Having a think about it and talking to other people i'm wondering if it is one of her tired signs

Thinking of you as you prepare to go back to work

Thanks Jules, next weekend is my birthday and DH will be away It happens every year, there is some big car meet on that he HAS to go to with work. I'm used to it now...

Still trying to get in the shower, my patience are really wearing thin today and i'm snapping at the boys. All the while DH is still snuggled up in bed...

EJ - happy anniversary! Why don't you do what my Nan did - put all the sick people in the same bed. It would mean that your DH would *have* to help with some of the parenting! No good on your DH being away next week I hope you don't get sick.

Will usually has a bit of a cry just before he drops off, but the ear-pulling has only started in the past 2 days. He's now asleep in his rocker.

    Have a great day all.

i felt sorry for her, but once she got used to it she was a bit better... she seems to startle quite easily with noises louder than she is used to....

EJ - FINALLY!!!! So glad you have found out what you're dealing with! Hope you can recover quickly now and NEVER have to go through that again!! Poor Charlie and Harper!! What a few weeks you've had lately. Hope things ease up for you now!

Crumpet - Glad to hear things are going well with Summah, she sounds so sweet. That's great she's loving solids! It's so much fun isn't it

MadB - No sickness here *touch wood*.... How's your sleep going? Hope you're getting some decent stretches at night!!

Kaz - Yay for rolling, what a clever little man! He'll be crawling now in no time!!

Charlotte - I loved hearing about your memories... time just flies doesn't it... That's so cute Hannah is hyper when DP is home. Jacob gets really excited when DH is home too. He works a roster very similar... four on four off five on five off.... but he is away from home for 13.5 hours each shift so he's barely here when he's on days on Glad Hannah is enjoying her solids too, what a cutie!!

Cathie - Sorry to hear Charlie boy is still unwell, and that everyone else is suffering with runny noses, this weather is such a downer...everyone is getting unwell! Hope you're all feeling better very soon. You should buy shares in kleenex

Audax - nice to hear from you, how did the wedding go?? Hope DD doesn't get a cold!! No more sickness please!

PP - So happy to hear that Millie is feeling better, not long till the trip now!! I'm guessing you're busy packing by now!!

AFU - We're doing great...Jacob is loving solids more every day and has been going longer at night with his sleep which is so wonderful. He's so fun, he is always bouncing around and just loves music. He even has this new excited sound he makes now that is hilarious. Couldn't ask for a happier baby really. His day sleeps are pretty much the same, sleeps for about an hour at a time. I have a friend that is very well meaning but is telling me I need to let him cry and self settle back to sleep. Thing is, he CAN self settle - he always does it. But he's just NOT tired. He doesn't even cry, he just talks and talks and talks until I go in and get him. I just can't make a strict routine work for us cause we're always going away. Different if I could be home all the time like she is, but we need him to be flexible and he is so I'm happy with how things are. I have to stop doubting myself. It made me feel like a really bad mum, cause apparantly they 'like' their routines. But then I look at him and he's just so happy, I don't think he's suffering!

Anyway, enough rambling. Hope you're all well xox

Jules, seriously, you're doing fine. Jacob is wonderful and thriving. Flexibility is great. I would much rather be flexible about everything than in some rigid routine - that would never work for me. You're both happy, so everything is good!

Jules - don't doubt your milk? Are you a member of the ABA? You can get so much support through them, and if there's a local group then you have a support and new friends to meet! Yay on sleeps!!! Which MCN did you get???

Crumpet - gosh, you actually look to be more caught up than I! Yay on the picnic, I'm guessing it was very noisy. I bought Will a cute little rodeo-theme winter/autumn suit last night

Cathie - enjoy your holiday, hope you get some well-deserved rest.

PP - on your corrupted card. We lost our HDD once and it sent me into a panic attack, DH sent it off to a data retrieval group who got the images and videos back - needless to say, I'm now a bit paranoid!

AFU - Took Will to the docs today, he's been snuffly and pulling his ear, wasn't sure if it was just teething or ear infection - all's clear. She thinks he may have hayfever? And that in a couple of months when his nasal passages are a bit bigger, the snuffling should stop. Thank goodness. Otherwise, he discovered his foot today, and he's also discovered the teev Took Will with me to work, he of course needed feeding! How to get the "pod" to all get to work ASAP is to pull out a boob! Pointed out where I plan on expressing, got the key, was told I wasn't to drink beer in there (it's our beer-o'clock room). Just need to get a comfy chair now
