Happy six months to everyone. reading the lates posted realised I should get the 6 month check up. Chalry is interested in baby & toddlers at the moments, and as usual anyone that will talk to her.

Chon you are so lucky Charly has been doing the same thing for over a month but no teeth yet. were are they. Went to drive in last night to see Pirates of Carribean, she was very chatty thought the movie.

Thinking of turning Chalry seat around she is so upset especially at night facing the rear, I am sure she is over 8kg, since she was 7.9kg about 3 weeks ago, and manual says can be turned at 8kg. Just need to check the depart of transports guidelines.

Charly still not to fussed on the solids thing, lucky to get a couple of monthfuls. Then clamps up like nothing is getting between those gums. Tried sweet potatoe, peaches, apple prefers farex, and still doing the gagging thing if to thick.

    Happy long weekend everyone.

Oh wow, a tooth for Maya! That's great that it's not causing her any discomfort.
Charly'smum, the drive-in sounds like a great idea... I should find one near us. Just in my opinion, it'd be wise to keep Charly rear-facing in the car for as long as you possibly can. It is so much safer for her. I know it can be really hard when they are upset in the car though... its really hard not being able to help them, isn't it.
Storm... Where are you? I hope you and Angel are doing ok.

Woohoo for Natalie! Its so exciting, hey!

Hi Storm; hope I'm not being rude but what was wrong with Angel? I think I've missed something or my memory is failing me ......AGAIN.....

Maya is handling the tooth quite well, hope it stays like this but I feel once more start pushing their way through its going to get to her a bit, not that I blame her, I really feel for her now, and thats just one!! I was wondering why she had red cheeks lately then I was told it is from her teething.

Hope all is well with everyone.

No worries Chon, she has a hole in her heart, & is looking at the possibility of open heart surgery but being sick has really slowed her down & it's taking a while for her to recover, she has had the broncholitus now for over 2 weeks. But she is going great guns developpement wise & cheeky wise too!!
    Yay for Maya's tooth!!

Natalie has been getting rosy cheeks, but I think its just the wind. (In the air, not from her bottom, LOL)
Ah, you're not old, Jo!!! Have your birthday bash and enjoy it!
Someone posted somewhere today, 'You're only as old as the man you feel'... PMSL!! In my case that's not too complementary seeing as DH is 9 years older than me LOL.

PC - I couldn't wait either and when I have another one (in a year or two) I will find out as soon as is possible! I like to be organised and only have to think of ONE name!

Storm - WONDERFUL!! How good has this week been for you, have a little celebration I reckon! Hugs for Angel from Maya

Well Maya had her 6mth needles today, boy did she cry, it was that real pained cry that breaks your heart, the poor nurse kept saying sorry to her. But I had a bottle ready for her and put it under her nose and she latched onto it and drank the whole thing in one!

She is napping now, had a little play before and was smiling so I am happy.

She is 7.49kg and 65cm long. Doctor is very happy with her and impressed with her stability at sitting, so thats good.

I got a call from a carers agency that I worked for late in my pregnancy today, I helped out with their phones for 3 afternoons a week, they wanted to know if I could do some after hours phone work, I am so happy!! I hate not bringing any money into the house and we need the extra that this would bring, so its been a good day (other than the needle thing...).

Hope all is well with everyone else, Charly's Mum - how are things going with you guys?
