Welcome back Tinsel haven't seen you post in awhile..
I finally got Olivia Immunisated yesterday she was very brave considering she didn't have panadol either before as it was a last minute decison as I had a dr appointment (have a infected gum or something needless to say I have one very sore mouth that has gotten to the pint of waking me from my sleep, now i understand what teething babies go through poor litte tykes) so she had her needles and the rota virus liquid and only cried for 2 min max no adverse affects either besides sleeping more which I don't class as adverse, and lots more poops 5 yesterday in the space of 2 hrs...
Anyone know if antibiotics and pandiene will affect my milk (blue box) as I am taking a lot of pain killers as the pain is really really bad I feel bad for taking so many but if I don't I will literally be crying like a baby...
Ok enough rambling from me...
Speaking of poops she has just done another one for me...

Ethan has come home from school. He was skipping and fell and hit his head on the cement. He is fine though but his head was sore. Isaac is starting to get headaches again so we are going to try those new tablets today..
Olivia is asleep yay :) I weighed her at the chemist today and she is 6.39kg.. and I measured her today as well and she is 62cm.. She was 5.8 on the 15th so I hope thats a good weight gain.. She has been fine though :)
Teena: Sorry you are feeling so yuck. Hope the anti-'s kick in soon.. Not sure about the meds. I know in 2006 when I was bf jacob he was 8 months and I had a blocked salivary gland and was on nurofen a lot... It was fine. I too couldn't bear the pain..
Yay Miss Olivia was good with her needles. I would say the pooping might have something to do with the needles and RV stuff but if she isn't screaming or anything then its a normal reaction
Well Olivia hasn't caught Ash ;) She was just weighed and measured and came in at 61 1/2 cm and 5.7kg. She is gaining weight at a slowish rate but they are not really worried as she looks healthy.
Teena - what a good girl Olivia was being so brave (must be the name :lol:)
Nic - I hope Ethan and Isaac are both feeling better. How is Ethans first love affair going? ;)

Ethan was fine. Red bump on head but normal :) Isaac on the hand. Tablet seemed to work then 4 hours later came back with out any warning and then he fell asleep and then was good. he is very tired though which is what the tablet does. Jacob fell asleep at 5:30 *sigh* Still hasn't woken. No dinner nothing.. eek!
Olivia was Miss Grumpy pants tnight.. I ended up lying down with her at 7 and we both fell asleep hehe. up by 7:30 though and she cried and carried on so when Simon went for his shower at 9 I tossed her in to and she fell asleep by 9:30 :dance:
Now being naughty and having a snack of chips and coke :)

Good morning all, well maybe not so good... MY poor little Olivia woke up on the wronfg side of the bed I think, woke up crying and been crying ever since, she ain't hungry or wet nor has a tummy ache, so put her back in cot to cry it out which has work as she has gone back to sleep..Poor mite :(
I got her to sleep at 9.30ish and she slept throught 1.30am and then back to sleep at 2.30am so not too bad...
Well I better go do some housework joy joy

Been busy today, helped my brother with his resume and then he applied for 5 jobs in Canberra. Then this afternoon we went shopping for him, new work pants, new shoes, belt and a much much needed hair cut, now he justs need a job.
Yeah, I have been out of the loop but I have been lurking and checking out your gorgeous photos. Little miss is starting to sleep better during the day so I might have more time to post. By the time I put her down and do other things, there is not much time for BB before she needs something.
I did the old weighing trick where I weigh myself and then weigh me and bubs and it turns out she is 6kg but I should get her measured and weighed properly one day soon. She still only has a bit of fuzz on the top of her head and DH can't wait until it grows longer to put cute clips in. She is really chatty and smiles all the time which is just gorgeous. She has been sleeping 8 hours a night for 5 weeks now so I am finding that really good for my sanity and moods (I get really cranky with little sleep) but the downside is that she rarely sleeps from about 5pm to 10pm. I am trying to get us out of the house a bit more but when she sleeps in the day, I don't want to disturb her.
Monique had her needles Tuesday last week and it was a bit sad to see her crying but after a cuddle she went to sleep. This week she has had lots of poos so I guess that it is all coming out of her system.
Louise: I feel better thanks :) just having an off day even though I shouldn't have been... oh well lol..
Sounds like a busy time with your Brother.. Good luck for him with the job hunting

Good day so far here. Olivia hasn't been sleeping well or maybe I'm not. I honestly don't know. Olivia has started waking at 1 and she comes into bed with me and she is a snuggler and gets up under my armpits :lol: and of course I wake up and try feed her cus I am half asleep and think she has woken when she hasn't but by then she is awake.. Lovely little cyckle we have gotten ourselves into lol..
Tonight seeing as I don't have to be up and ready for school runs I will get up and feed her IF she wakes otherwise I will try resettling her in bed. When she woke at 1 last night I fed her because she didn't feed much last night and the lasy 2 nights she hasn't fed to go to sleep. She feeds around 6-7 and around 8 after about an hour of screaming she falls asleep. Fun time Fun Fun :)
The last 2 mornings I have left Isaac andJacob at home and walked to school at a decent pace and I feel so good for it.. So I will be doing that on all of Simons days off and his inbetween day when he is home in the mornings :)

All is well here.... glad to hear you are all doing OK! Yesterday was a nice day in the city! It was great to meet up with the girls! ALL the bubs are just so darn cute!! Ash IS such a big boy compared to Chrissie! :lol: good mumma juice there!
Chrissie has been sleeping real well lately!! Last night it was 11pm - 6:20am WOOHOOO and is now asleep again!! but lately she has been doing 9-9:30pm - 5-5:30 am which is fine by me!! :dance:
Bought her a couple books... one with bed time stories and one with classic nursery rhymes!! can't wait until she enjoys sitting in my lap to get a story read! hehe
Today we are off to shops with MIL, as she doesn't get out much! FIL doesn't like shopping but always likes to go with her, so she never gets to have a nice stroll and look around! men!!

Olivia just loves going out late afternoon.. We went for a walk at 5:30 to the beach and she was gooing and carrying on , it was so cute!!
Nic - the beach walk sounds lovely.
Sofia has started babbling and cooing more now and is so full of smiles, that will probably change on Monday when I have to get her her needles, I can handle a grumbly baby I just hope it doesn't upset her sleeping (atm she sleeps really well).
Hi girls, wow it has gotten abit quiter in here lately. Sorry I haven't been around. Ihave had so much crap going on.
Was Tehya's 3rd birthday yesterday, we didn't do anything though as we had the big party the weekend before. I have put a picture of her Dorothy cake in my gallery along with pics of ABbey from the Baptism.
Brandon is gone once again. He came back on Monday, stayed until Thursday morning and has disappeared once again. Seems to be a weekly ritual now. While he was home I got him to the school councellor, she got him to do some tests and it seems that he is suffering depression. We got someone from the local hosp mental health unit to come out and see him on Wednesday and like I said he was gone again Thurs :wall:
Abbey is going well, not sleeping as good as she was but still not too bad overnight. I weighed her on Thurs and she is 5.48kgs, so still pretty average. She stays awake most of the day which is frustrating to both her and I. And of course come the afternoon she is so overtired she's a cow.
Tinsel, great to see you back hun and great to hear that Monique is going so well.
Lauren, Brandon weighed in at 7kgs at 3 months old. It's gorgeous having a chubby bubby. Don't know how Ash is needing nappies that big though. Surely they would come up too far on him ??
DP is taking the little ones to a bday party troday. It's over an hours drive away so I'm not going with Abbey. We can't do a 10 minute drive let alone an hour one.

I got a nice sleep in again till 7:30. I was up t 1:30 with Olivia and she was almost asleep so I just closed my eyes while I was waiting for her to be fully asleep anyways I opened my eyes again and thought wow I feel good. It was 3:30 :lol: Anyways between Olivia grunting and Jacob calling out it as 4 before I finally got to stay in bed lol...
Well Little Miss is calling and has a tummy ache so best go cycle those legs.. Bring on the poop

Trish - Ash isnt a fat baby or even really chubby hes just well proportioned 'big'. hes really long too so I think that must have something to do with it. Ive just brought heaps of 00 rompers and he has good room for his arms but hes toes are squished, so i think its height again there.
The nappies fit really well and arent high at all. lol
Olivia and Ash must be similar in length, I have 00 suits that fit Olivia better, the 000 squish her toes too..
I measured her myself the other day and she was 62cm long..
nic - Ash is the same :) how much does she weigh?
When I weighed her at the chemist she was 6.39kg fully clothed. but was wearing light clothes so I assume a nudie weigh wouldn't make a big difference

We have had to put Vicky onto FF as she had only put on 900g in 2 months :cry:
but in the first week of FF she has put on 800g :dance: so she is now around the 25th percentile instead of 5th so now we will see how she goes.

we have had a good day today. DH, the girls and I went to Centennial park and hired out on of those bike/buggy things where 2 people peddle, Maria sat in the front kiddie seat, Sofia was in the snug but facing forward and DH and I peddled like you wouldn't believe. We made it twice around the park in our hour, thats just under 8kms, gosh we know it tonight. DH is of to Brisbane again tomorrow, that means another week away, then we go to Tamworth for the weekend

wow what a crappy night and it wasn't really the kids either, Jacob fell out of bed and I got a fright and flew into his room.. Not sure my feet touched the floor actually. He was fine I just got a fright. Then I lay in bed waiting for Olivia to wake as she has been waking at 1:30 most mornings and it was already 1 so I thought hey may as well wait.. and wait I did then I couldn't get back to sleep then I scared myself. :lol: Got up to check the kids and freaked myself out. Debated waking dh to do a run around for me but figured it was silly lol...
ah then I think Olivia finally woke at 3 lol.. and I fed her on and off till 7 when dh came and got her ..
On a good note I power walked today. I left here at 8am and was home by 8:50. I walked to the school and back almost left a smoke trail ;) its a 4km round trip :)
Now Miss O is laying on my arms semi asleep. She has been very vocal lately.. chatting away to herself and her brothers

Needles went well and Sofia is currently asleep in my arms, also has my papsmear - yuk, glad I don't have to another one of those for a couple of years.

Nic - that was in just one week - well she need to catch up but what a little pig she has been :D The best thing is that now we are getting better feed/play/sleep patterns and she spends most of her awake time smiling and chatting - just like yours shes starting to be a right little chatterbox - sure beats the screaming/crying all day long. Sorry to hear you had a yucky nite - shame on Jacob for scaring you like that.
Kitten2b - glad to hear that Sofia's needles went well fingers crossed i can say the same on Friday.

We had such a busy weekend here. On Saturday we went down to Philip Island to see a classic cars thing that DH wanted to see. It was really hot and dusty there and SO loud, but the gorgeous little Miss just slept in the baby bjorn! Unfortunately her calmness wore off in the car on the way home :doh:
Sunday there was a community picnic at the park near our house, so we headed down there and sat on the grass listening to the band and eating sausages, it was really nice. Olivia liked watching the other children.
Monday we drove to Ararat to visit my MIL and DH's great aunt. Really nice lunch but sooo hot there and no air-con! Olivia was very good and turned on the charm while we were there :)
Anyway I hope everyone else had a nice long weekend. Off to mothers group today.

Sorry have been missing last few days.. Have had a bit of a cold and Chrissie has also had the sniffles... yesterday was NOT a good day for us! poor thing must having been feeling a bit off as didn't eat much and was pooing all day and was just plain grizzly and unsettled!... She seems to be a bit better this morning though!...which is good!
Nic - ohh never thought of taking along the camera! will do next time!!

Got a personal question for anyone now the 'pap test topic' has come up.
I had mine last week and im usually really really good with all that stuff, ive have girl issues since i was 11 with my pcos and endometriosis, so ive had ALOT of people poking and proding and pretty much lost all dignity along time ago.. going into labour was fine for a while and by the end of it there was sooooo many ppl touching down there, as they do, i got really annoyed especially with the amount of men diving in there!... anyways my question is... when it came to my pap test (by a doctor ive been seeing for 8 years!) i was EXTREMELY nervous and uncomfortable.. to the point i felt sick in the stomach, i just didnt want anyone touching me or invading my space.. and it was SO weird to feel like that.... Has that happened to anyone else??? Im even refusing going back on the pill cos just the thought of sex makes me ill in the stomach cos my body is mine! ahhhhhh 'confused' :cry:
hey everyone! we have just got back from a week in melbourne for my grandma's 90th. the flight down was horrible, as both kids were asleep so we were stuck in uncomfortable positions holding them for hours on end- and walking with bags and babies (no pram/sling) was close to impossible... but we managed. i wrote olly's dob a month later so he appeared under 2 so we didn't have to pay for his ticket down, but declared his proper age and paid full price on the way back... i needn't have bothered, both times no one asked for i.d and there was plenty of seats and he didn't sit in his seat at all anyway. he ran up and down the aisle talking to anyone who'd look at him, making friends, scamming food and speaking indonesian. the virginblue cabin crew loved him.
the party itself was great - mylo, smiled at all the rellies and put up with being handed around all day loong. olly ran amok with the other kids and basked in the adoring attention of the adults. the week we were there involved non stop dinners and bbq's and get togethers- it was exhausting but awesome. glad to be home. first thing i did once home was get myself a double pram ($20 on ebay!) so i can get lots of exercise. i'm not pg (phew) so i have no excuse for all the chocolate and cake and icecream the holiday involved. went for a big walk this morning with the kids and feel great (but v hungry). loving my boys and loving my life right now. hope everyone is going good, x Lara

Lara - your hols sound great (except lugging the kids through the airport - yuck!). What a bargain getting the double pram for $20.00 - I paid $66.00 for a double pram on ebay & thought I did great!! Bet it was nice to meet up with some of the other BB girls....
Re: pap smears...I had one at the 6 wk check up even though it was only 15 months since my last one. Thought if he was going to be poking around down there anyway....I was ok with it - much the same as usual really.... Must say I am not that into sex since the baby yet - is anyone else like this or am I the only one?

Mummutotwo - thats me as well but it hasn't really been an issue as DH has been working away on and off for the last 2 months, at least the girls and I can go with him to Canberra next week.

Well semi good day here today. Olivia was so so.. Dh got her to sleep when I walked to the park to get Ethan.. yay out of the house baby free.. Just Isaac and i went. The boys have been pretty good too..
oh and Olivia pooped pain free today yay :) well Im excited. things are getting so much easier in that department.. She has started biting me during feeding though *ouch*'
