Trish - Once again thanks for the information. I am going to make a point of reading it all tonight...hopefully.

Tinsel - re highchair. I have started to put Loren in her highchair when I am making dinner. Loren likes to be elevated and our highchair is suitable for 4 months onwards. My tip for a highchair is to take bub with you and put her in it. Make sure you can clean it easily, that the wheels all lock, and I like the ones with cross bars ( it makes them more sturdy).

Morgan - I love those sleepy giggles too.

Well miss Loren is a shocking sleeper atm, both day and night. It is taking so much effort and screaming (on her part) just to get her to go down. Most days she ends up in the swing chair for a long sleep. Last night it took me 1.5 hours of settling and re-settling to get her down for the night....grrr then she woke twice, each time taking 30 mins to re-settle. The little munchin just crackes it as soon as we go to her room!!!!!

I am not even doing control crying and she ends up in a purple screaming mess...It is doing my head in atm.

Bek: It wasn't a febrile convulsion but there has been no more mention of it. I am going to go back tuesday and ask about that and see what we can do to make sure her heart is healthy.. As in an US or an Xray or something..

Nic, :hug: hun. I am so sorry they haven't been able to give you an answer. It must be like living on edge wating for it to happen again. I hope you managed to get some sleep last night.

Abbey had an ok night, woke around 1.30 for a feed and another at 6 am. So not too bad I guess.

We are up to our 13th consecutive day of rain and tbh I have had enough. My house looks like a laundromat. I have the drier going and a clothe hoist in the lounge with stuff I don't want shrunk. The nappies are in the machine and I will hang them undercover out the back. Poor Abbey has been in sposies most of the week with all this rain.

Hope every one has a great long weekend, please don't forget the real reason for this break.

My little one was born December 21. I really wanted some advice on when your little one's go to sleep at night? She sleeps like a dream during the day. I just put her down when she shows some tired signs and she drops off in a couplel of minutes. But at night we go through a whole range of crying, wingeing or even a tantrum or two.

I had been putting her down around 8pm and most nights will need to be rocked to sleep.

So I just need to be more consistant like I had been during the day as these are now going wonderfully. She sleep through till 7 then we have a feed and she is lucky to stay awake for an hour which makes me think she should go down at 7pm.

Anyway, I have rambled...any advice is much appreicated.

Had a pretty crap night here. Olivia slept well but jacob just kept waking up and crying.. At 4 I lost my patience and raised my voice at him but it worked and he slept till 7 then.. Olivia woke at 2 had a feed and went right back to bed till 7. She has been showing signs of a sore mouth which we thought was teething but this morning Jacob has been complaining of a sore mouth so maybe they both have some sort of bug.. who knows. At the moment Olivia is asleep and sleeping soundly. I check her every 5 minutes. I hate this worrying. If she makes a sound I worry she is going to go funny again. I hate to complain in here I guess but it was so scary. I can't help thinking about how close we came to losing her and all the what ifs.. We weren't going to go grocery shopping we were thinking about just doing housework but changed our minds at the last minute, what if we hadn't have gone to the shop. she would have been in the loungeroom most likely not being watched as we were busy.. I know I shouldn't think like this but it is so hard not to. Every time she cries I worry something is wrong. I don't dare allow her to get even a little upset. I am doing everything I tried not to do over the last 5 months. I jump when she cries and settle her as fast as I can. The only thing I am keeping normal is her sleeping in her bed. when she is awake sshe is either being nursed or I am laying on the floor next to her playing. i just can't stand letting her out of my site..

yesterday we had to go back to the shops to finish getting some things for the weekend.. anyways I went one way with Jacob and then when i went back to Simon I couldn't find him. Me and jacob walked up and down each aisle and we still couldn't find them. My heart started to pound as I started thinking something had happened and simon had just gone round to the Drs with Olivia, nothing did of course but since then I haven't let her out of my sight. (except when in bed) is it going to be like this forever? when will I relax.. When Isaac was a baby we watched him like a hawk due to his issues so to have to go through it all again just plain sucks.

You can't help but think of the what if's, that's totally normal. Fate handed you something that day, fate made you go shopping and fate had you close to your Dr. You have an angel watching over little Olivia and Isaac. I pray that nothing like this happens again to your family huni. :hug:

Welcome Kts64s, sounds like your little girl is a great sleeper. I sure wouldn't be complaining if Abbey slept that good. We keep a sleep cycle sleep out of her during the day. And very few of them at that.

Oh and Nic, that's just teasing us with your good weather. It's about 15 here, overcast and going to p!ss down again at any minute.....

Trish, just to fill you in one my solids debate from another thread... I have the Heinz Organic rice cereal eyeballing me from the cupboard but have decided to hold off until at least five months and then reassess and hopefully hold off until 5 and a half months, then reassess again and hopefully hold off until 6 months (taking it two weeks at a time!). Sounds ridiculous but the post about the extra work involved sealed the deal for me... and the fact that I don't want to give the MIL the satisfaction of an 'I told you so' when I was so adamant with her that he didn't need solids until SIX MONTHS when she tried it at six weeks...
We're having rolling over dramas her at the mo'... pop DS down on the floor and he rolls himself onto his tummy, which is great because it's kind of auto tummy time, but bad because we can't leave the room for longer than 2 minutes as he starts cracking it because he can't roll himself back (he's done it a couple of times but I don't think e can do it on purpose yet- only accidentily).
Happy Anzac day evryone. So very bored- DH is at the pub and I'm really not up for housework today. He invited us down but I have some kind of moral objection to bubs in pubs unless it's for dinner or something...

Lorirae - I to can't bring myself to do housework. In actual fact I made a bigger mess by starting to clean out a cupboard. Now stuff is everywhere and I'm not cleaning it up today!

Like you I too think there is a time and a place for Bubs and it is not in the Pub let alone on ANZAC day.....some of my childless friends can't seem to fathom that though.

Just relax! My little one is due to wake any minute so I've been enjoiying the peace.

today has been a good day. Olivia is back to normal, no grizzling this afternoon at all. even happy to go in her swing. I even hung out some washing admittedly very fast and came upstairs twice to check on her. she was asleep and i had the other half of the monitor on me.. she is squealing happily in her swing brewing a poo. for some reason she has pooped 3-4 times a day every day this week.. most weird..

Boys are downstairs playing in mud and water much to my disgust but they have been feral today so they can do what they want outside and when they come up it is warm shower and jammies time..

beef strogganoff here for dinner tonight.. Whats for tea at everyone elses place tonight?

LoriRae: apart from the whole solids till 6 months issue the extra work is a big thing for me. olivia has increased her feeds heaps in the past week. She went from feeding every 3 hours or so during the day to just varying times of sometimes an hour maybe less or going up to 4 depending on sleeps. I think so far today she has fed 5 times.. and will prob feed another 4-5 times before bed. I think she is just finding comfort in it as she doesn't seem overly hungry

Kts: I am enjoying the peace as well.. Its nice when you get it isn't it. Although I think I have a nappy to change soon so may as well do the bathtime routine while she is happy

LoriRae, you are right, there is so much more work involved in feeding solids, and it's so damn messy and time consuming. Whacking a boob out is so much faster and easier to do :D

Nic, ahhh the ammount of times I have whinged in here. LOL. Honestly though hun, if we didn't want to hear it, we wouldn't ask :hugs: Abbey poo's like that everyday, so it's nothing different around here. Yummy on the strog too, we ended up having drumsticks. DP crumbed them and made some pasta to go with it. A fattening dinner, but hey, I didn't have to cook so it was a bonus :D

Abbey had a shocker of a day and night. She slept, literally 3 15 mintue baps all day. This was from rising at 8am until I started settling her for bed at 8 lastnight. Then it took me 2 hours to get her off for a crap night. She was finally in bed by 10 and was awake again by 2. Awake atleast 4 times, she resettles quickly enough, once she gets some boob. But then nicely did a massive spew all through my bed at 6 this morning. She was fast asleep and just projectiled everywhere, waking both of us up. Then she lay there doing a big poo. Time to get up. Bed is stripped and sheets are on the line. Abbey is now napping in her swing. Not the idea place but hey, she's asleep.

Feels good to not have to rush around on a Saturday morning for once. The footy fields are shut so no football this morning. Funny thing is though, it's the nicest morning we have had in weeks. The sun is shining and there is no rain - so far.

Not sure what we will get up to today. Something that cost's little money I am thinking.

Terrible night here just terrible. I even went to bed early. I went before 10, Jacob woke at 11 coughing a yucky cough, then Olivia was awake almost all night from midnight onwards. I have a pulled muscle in my back where it hurts to breathe to deeply.

My head just hurts from wanting sleep! the boys are watching a movie and Olivia has just gone down for a nap.. I bet she sleeps 3-4 hours too. I have no idea what her problem was last night. She just cried or screamed almost non stop..

ah crud she is awake and crying.. **sigh**

ETA: Trish. I would go for a nice walk in a park somewhere :) Glad the sun is shining for you today

Half your luck Nic. Not on your crappy night but on Olivia sleeping for 3 or 4 hours. Abbey never sleeps longer than an hour in the day time. DOes my head in. There is only so much you can do to entertain a little baby.

Ohhhhhhh Tehya looks like a girl for once. She had almost a dress on. She has tights, a long sleeved shirt and like a pinaford over it. I think the only reason it's stayed on this long is because of the tights under it. LOL, Ahhh my little tom boy.

Just back from the Drs with Olivia.. She came out in a rash.. Anyways she is now on anti biotics and he did give me a antihistamine but said it was up to me if I gave it or not. We opted not to, I am sure panadol will be fine. We are to go back to the Drs next week and get a referral to a pead and get her followed up with a ECg.. finally a Dr who thinks like i do..

Olivia is fine though just a little itchy. The rash appears to be viral but he started her on Ab's just in case and I am happy to do so...

Trish: bugga the cold play in the sand.. but an hours drive is a little to long. I have a less then 5 minute walk :D (rubs in) Car shoping is fun as long as you have no children in tow.. lol. Go checko ut the new landcruisers.. *drool* We are in love with them. way the heck out of our price range though but still can't hurt to look hehe..

Nic - Hugs on your rough time with Olivia's health and sleep etc. I really hope you get to the bottom of things. Please feel free to vent whenever you want...I do, even if no one listens, it still helps to get it out.

Trish - Happy 5 months to Abbey. Bugger on the rain, especially with baby, toddler. and a preppie to wash for. Miss Sara is a tomboy too, she mainly gets around in sporty type clothes and very rarely a dress. I hear you on the lack of daytime sleeps although I think Loren is getting a tad more than Abbey. So far Loren has slept 1.5 hours today. Where did they get the theory that bubs sleep for hours on end though the day...not here at my place. All the best with car shopping. I am up for house hunting soon.

Buzzie - Ash really does look older than 4 months. My DD1 always looked older and she never looked like a really tiny bub for too long.Loren is different she still looks like a tiny bubba, but I think that is because she is bald.

Re: Solids, personally I would put off solids due to the extra work for as long as possible.Also for the allergy reason too. I was at my MIL's yesterday and she took it upon herself tp put a piece of bread in Loren's mouth...I could have screamed. I politely told her that I am not starting solids for another month. She knows I am anal about this kinda thing. Still I suppose it did not stop her giving Sara ice cream when she was 7 months old. No freakin idea:( Bugger Loren is cranky best go

Grrr... trust me, Ty actually had a sleepy day today- we got one two and a half hour sleep and two one and a half hour sleeps.. and of course we were out all day! Why does that always seem to happen- when we are out and about he sleeps like a trooper, but at home when it's just me and him we're lucky to get 45 minutes at a time, and some days only once!! Have to say I'm pretty lucky but- although he might wake up frequently at night, he goes straight back down after a feed..
Bek- I'm with you, what is it with MIL's and their solids obsession??
Trish- Blah to the rain, it seems to have such a bad effect on my mood- I always feel miserable. And thank God for the dryer!! At least it was a lovely sunny day today :)
Lauren- how cute is your little man? We have a jolly jumper too and ty adores it- we get big dribbly smile out of him whenever he gets in it and it leaves me a few minutes free to hang out washing or run the vacumn over the lounge room. I seem to suffer from serious 'equipment guilt' though- whenever I put him anywhere but the floor I have a mental clock running in my head because I remember the community nurse drumming it into us that they shouldn't spend longer than two hours a day in equipment, including car seats and prams, and preferably much less than that. *sigh* never realised this mothering thing came with so much guilt attached!!
Dinner here tonight is nachos, which the man is making... and he took us shopping today... whattaguy!

We are in no rush with solids and will wait until Vicky is really ready for them. Got her weighed today and she is 6.3kgs and 63cms long.
Bek - i agree on the sleeping thing we set our watches to Vicky 45 mins on the nose everytime and we are lucky if thats 3 times a day

We decided to declutter this weekend and have been going thru every single box that is under the house and being completely ruthless. We are about 90% done and i think we've kept 10% why oh why do i hoard :redface: the only thing left to do now is the all the bags of pre pregnancy clothes :rolleyes:more washing.

Hi there everyone, I'm hoping you don't mind if I also join you all. My little boy Gabe was born on Dec 12th, I also have a little girl Kyla who’s 2.5 yrs. Gabe is doing well – Trish, like Abbey, Gabe only does the one sleep cycle during the day, sleeping for an hour at the absolute most. Overnight he still wakes a fair bit too, usually around 1am, 4am, and 6am at which time I usually put him into bed with me so I can at least get a little bit more sleep.

Nic- I’m glad to hear that Olivia hasn’t had any more episodes. How scarey for you, I don’t blame you for keeping an extra close eye on her. I hope you can find out a bit more about what happened soon

Bek- I’m trying to put off solids til at least 6 months too. Gabe is a pretty big boy, at his 4 month check up he was 7.8 kilos. My MIL bought some cute little French outfits for him today in size 0. They fit perfectly now so because they are so expensive we’ll change them for a 1 so he doesn’t grow out of them too soon lol!
Trish- Happy 5 months to Abbey! Car shopping woohoo! We bought a car just before Gabe was born so that we would be able to fit in two car seats. We got a 2yr old Commodore Station Wagon.
Buzzie- Go Asher in the Jolly Jumper. We’ll have to get ours out for Gabe soon too.

YAY Carrie, Great to have you in here huni. Believe me when I say that car shopping with 3 kids is not fun. And we are only shopping for a second cheapy car for DP to drive to work. He did had a commodore wagon but with the fuel costs it was getting too much running 2 6 cylinder cars.
Nice score on the clothes from MIL. Can't remember the last time my MIL got anything for my kids that wasn't for their bday.

Bek, I hope you got some sleep. Grrr at MIL. Can't say I have those issues with mine, she just doesn't see the kids. Another problem all together. My mum smokes, but never in her house and never near my children. Although Tehya does have a bad habbit of walking near her the minute she lights up.

Morgan, your a good girl having a clean up. We need one around here too, I'm the guilty hoarder here. Go Vicky for spewing on Daddy, that a girl :D

LoriRae, it's suposed to turn to rain again this afternoon. Fantastic, we get one sunny no rain day in a fortnight. Going to be fantastic when school goes back having to get the kids out in the rain everyday. And pfft to your CHN, tell her to come and baby sit while you get the house work done ;) You know, if you worked it out bub prob wouldn't be in his equipment for that long most days.

Nic, poor Olivia she is having a crappy time lately. I hope her rash goes away soon. Do you know what it's from ? My kids get that viral rash too, it gradually changes colours over the days as the virus elaves the body. Looks yucky though.
New landcruiser hey.... see my only thing is with all my kids I need to use up all the seats and then there is no space in the back. Come to think of it, if I got a car that fit all my kids in I'd need a mini bus ;)

Lauren, if Abbey is anything like Tehya (lord I hope not) she will be onestrong headed girl, more than capable of keeping Mr Asher in line. Besides I love his name so much, Abbey was going to be Asher if she were a boy, so they are well suited. Asher and Abbey, has a nice ring to it don't ya think ;)

Abbey had a much better night. I guess the fact that we sleep together on the lounge until 12 helped some. I took her in to bed and she woke at 4am for a feed and then again at 6, up by 7. She's in her swing now watching the car racing with Noah. DP is making pancakes, out of a bottle. I really do need to learn how to make pancakes properly. They are much nicer made up fresh.

I personally think thats one peice of advice you can nod your head at then do what you feel is right. olivia doesn't spend much time in her swing but she would in her car seat or pram..

decent night here. Olivia went to bed at 7:30 and didn't wake till 2 and went back to bed at 3 and slept till 5:30. I was so mad at Simon. I asked him to get up to her at 5:30 and he bloody well wouldn't. I was so darn cranky. I have pulled a muscle in my back and it hurt to carry her and he was to out of it to get up to her for me.. He was too tired.. poor tiddler :rolleyes: He finally got the message when I took her back down and said I need to lay down get up... He did but lasted less then half an hour *not impressed*

Anyways.. the miss's rash comes and goes depending if she gets to hot or not... It is always there but doesn't itch unless she gets too hot..

I am the only one with a Husband who is always mroe tired than I. I could kill him sometimes, I may had had two hours sleep each night for a week and he still complains about being tired...

I have now realised why Women are the child bearers and rearers. It is because Men can not cope!! and never will be able to cope. Mine can manage toi help for a few days then thats it. He needs a few days rest before helping again.

Anyway, my Hubby may very well be a lot better than some but ARHHHH sometimes I just want to be able to complain about something hurting - like my back which I have to go to the Osteo for or about being tiered without him stating how muchc his back hurts or how tired he is.

Ok that's enough I've got it out now.

My Dh said to me this afternoon, gee i'm tired then he looked my way and said I shouldn't whine should I. :lol:

Nic, what you do when they do the Whole I'm too tired and can't wake up thing is send the kids into Daddy, cos of course Daddy loves you so much he wants a cuddle from you ;) Works around here. Although I will say it's me laying in on the weekends, if you can call 7am a lay in, and DP gets up with monster Tehya. He also gets up with Teh overnight, or if Noah wakes. I deal with Abbey and that's it.

KT, sounds like we are all dealing with shocking backs atm. My mattress is stuffed and seriously the minute I lay on it I am in pain, I used to suffer with lower back issues, now it's right in the middle of my back, like where my bra goes. Thinking that I need to see someone about it too, just no $$ to cover it. Anyway, give your old man a boot and tell him to lift his game. Make it his turn to cook tonight and he can watch the baby while you have a hot bath to yourself, with no interuptions.....

No car once again either....

My back has some sort of pulled muscle in it. It hurts to breathe too deeply or empty my lungs completly. Carrying olivia seems to apply this icky pressure and my back throbs. Panadol eases it though. simon thinks it is stress but I think it is from sleeping on a single couch all night when Olivia was in hospital.. Even though it was cmfy enough nothing beats laying flat..

Olivia went to sleep before 6 tonight.. so no doubt she will wake bright eyes and bushy tailed not long after I go to bed..

Well i am never ever ever going to hoard again. We have finally finished going thru everything and 6 loads of washing done & put away, 3 more to go :(.

Bek i reckon Nic sent half of the hair moulting bug this way - its still dropping out by the handful worst thing is mine is down to my waist so it is really noticeable all over the tiles.
kts64s - my lovely DP wont even do the shopping by himself & we all know they wouldn't cope with childbearing they cant even cope with the sniffles ;) mind you i do what Trish said and send Alex in to jump on Dad & he loves it also rips the doona off - Great Kid!
Nic - :( i liked the photo in your ticker too. When we were up at the hospital i threw my neck out from their "comfy" chairs took a few days to sort itself out. Have you got any wheat packs - they are great for relieving the pains.

Panadol is working a treat tonight.. Back is no where as sore. Could also be because I have had to do nothing for the last 2 and a bit hours.. I am thinking I might go to bed as Olivia has been asleep since 6 and I think I should get sleep while I can...

Trish- Yeah, I finally got my act together and got in here! I did try after Gabe was first born but found that it was moving a bit fast for me to keep up with. Hmm, no I think I’d prefer not to you car shopping with kids! You’re right about the Commodore petrol guzzler, fortunately I don’t drive much except for to Gymbaroo, shops, friends and family etc. I’m glad to hear that Abbey had an okay night last night…mmm pancakes…
Nic- My DD was also born in August 2005, 21st so they’re the same age! Yeah, I agree I’ll take a good night sleep any day. Gabe isn’t too bad at night, wakes up fairly often, usually around 12-1, 4, 6 but has a feed and goes straight to sleep – it’d just be nice to have a bit of a longer sleep for once. Today he only had two forty-five minute sleeps – I don’t know how he does it! My DH sounds like yours, he is shocking to wake up during the night. However if DD wakes up, he has to get up to her since I’m already getting up for Gabe – otherwise I’d be up all night! Cute pics – I love the hair!
Kts64s- I agree!! Don’t get be started on husbands at the moment though.
Morgan- Good on you for all the cleaning and washing. I hate it when I get a build up of washing or ironing…unfortunately it happens a bit to often. Our house is in serious need of de-cluttering at the moment too.

I got a double Valco pram off of ebay which we picked up today – it’s great and was only $81. Only problem is, it obviously came from a smoking home cos it really stinks of smoke  anyone have any ideas of how to get rid of the smell.
I also got Gabe a snuggle time sleeping bag but he wouldn’t sleep in it last night – kept waking after half an hour and taking ages to get back to sleep until I finally took it off him.

Wow!! It's does move quick in here doesn't it??
Don't get me started on men whinging that they are tired- drives me insane!! DH used to do night feeds on the weekends but whinged so much the next day that I stopped asking... I know he works hard and all but what does he think I do here all day? Twiddle my thumbs and watch Oprah (well, some days..)
Don't get me started on smoking MIL's either.. grrr... I've done all whole whinging post in the BooHoo room about that!!
The equipment thing- two hours in total but my mum was telling me today that in Indonesia babies aren't put on the floor at all until they are six months old so that eveil spirits don't get them(what big muscles they must have.. the mums.. not the evil spirits...) and they don't develop any differently to ours, so that makes me feel better!
Went looking for wedding venues today (the man's actually DP not DH but have got so used to calling my hubby). All good fun but so expensive!! If anyone has any cheap wedding tips let me know.
On a totally different note, I can't believe Demi didn't win So You Think You Can Dance.
Such a big day tomorrow, I really should go to bed... Ty and I are starting baby swim classes in the morning and we've got a doctors appointment in the arvo... he keeps coughing and the GP tells me it's nasal congestion running down the back of his throat but something is telling me that's not right, although hopefully I'm just suffering mummy paranoia! Wish us luck...

LoriRae, I fell to sleep right near the end of Dance. Was so annoyed. When I finally woke I had to ask DP who won. Not the same as watching it. My girls are bothing coughing atm. Tehya has a shocking nose and yes it does run down and make them cough. Abbey has had a chest infection since the end of last month, she weas on AB's but they have done nothing, she has a nice chunky cough and now her nose has started up again.

Carrie, If it were me I'd be taking the pram outside,getting a bucket of warm soapy water and giving the pram a complete wash over. That way it will get any smells of it, and even whatever else may be on it. Great score though hun :D I have a Commodore too, so we had 2 guzzlers, I need the bogger car though to fit my 3 carseats across the back. Buggar on Gabe not sleeping in his bag, I hope he grows to love it soon. I would try it every couple of nights still to see if you can get him used to it, I hope Abbey doesn't have an adversion to her new one.

Nic, your ticker site might have issues that may be why it's not showing atm. good to hear that your back is feeling abit better. Hope Olivia is feeling better now too.

Morgan, sounds liek you did a champion effort of cleaning out. You know, a much as I hate doing them I sure do love the results.

Why can I never just sit here on my own. Had to get out of bed early cos Tehya came in and was coughing her head off so befoer she woke Abbey I brang her out. She was happy to sit and watch wigles for a little while but is now sitting on my lap and coughing her head off. Aggggghhhhh Let down. Silly boobies. Anyway....Abbey is still asleep in bed, she fell to sleep very early for her lastnight, still has a sposie on from when DP dressed her after her bath. That's going to be lovely and wet. She stayed sleeping with me, semi attached to the boob until 11 then I took her to bed. She hasn't woken up yet thankfully. Poor little girl looked like crap lastnight, she was soo tired, had red eyes and her runny nose.

(sorry) Not sure what to do about the stinky pram.. Bicarb and out in the sun for a few days might help.. good Luck with it...

Pretty decent night here.. Olivia went to bed at 6 and I was sensible for once and went to bed at 10. She woke at 12 and was awake till 1:30 but oh so happy. Gave me a fright cus she brought up some milk and I was waiting for her to do something weird but she didn't which is a good thing which means her body reacts ok to spitting up kwim? Well I do and thats what counts lol.. she then woke at 5 and I was like no not yet hehe.. I fed her and she went right back to sleep yay.. I was woken at 7 by Simon. He had got home from work and Olivia was awake so he got her up double yay.. Even my back feels pretty good today. Will actually be able to do some housework.. House is revolting at the moment..

The miss is being naughty this morning. I just got her down for a nap and put her in bed and she woke up as soon as I left and I can't leave her to whine back to sleep as Simon is asleep in there.. Grrr hate all day sleepy days.. mucks up my routine hehe...

Hi Everyone and Welcome newbies :D

We went to Mt Hotham for the weekend on a run with DH's car club (though I was following in the volvo as the baby seat doesn't fit in the MR2 :rolleyes:). It was a great weekend and on Sunday morning we woke up to snow! Olivia wasn't all that impressed by it to be honest and hated wearing the parka I had bought her, I don't think she can move her arms freely enough in it. But I think she looked very cute in her winter gear so I've posted a pic :D Driving in the snow was a new adventure for me, and seeing as I was with a bunch of sports cars a little worrying as some of them got stuck a few times. In the end we had to wait for the snow plough and follow it down the mountain! Was very pretty though.
