Liz, I just saw that too, wasn't it amazing and she is such a good mummy.

I am feeling better today but DH has it now and he is really sick with it poor darling.

Thanks for the food ideas, I have added a few to my shopping list. I usually give Monique a sandwich for lunch too. Gosh, doesn't vegemite go absolutely everywhere! Banana is a shocker too. Monique has been doing this thing lately where she will have a few mouthfuls and then will spit out the next few and then eat again. Don't know what's going on there but it takes ages to feed her sometimes.

Nic - Olivia is a clever girl. She will be walking in no time. You sound happy which is lovely.

Lori - I hope your DH gets a kick in the behind.

Girls a couple of you have mentioned giving your bubs sandwichs for lunch. I am fast running out of ideas apart from vegies, meat, fish, chikcen and the like.

Where to next for their meals.....I'd love to hear what solids you are all feeding your little ones now ( I guess they are not really babies anymore - where has the time gone)

Nic - Thats great your having a good week Yes Ash did sleep fine after the Huge 'nap' which was really good of him. i was worried i would of broken his routine. As for birthdays i dont know what ill do, its bit hard being 2 days before chrissy and in summer. I would of like to go to the zoo but might be too warm, and you cant really do a birthday cake there so ill prob just have something here.

Tinsel - Big hugs, hope you get better soon. How terrible to have gastro.

Lori - I agree with the girls, Dh needs kick up the toosh! i hope you are doing ok, i hate partners doing that. Unfortunatly Rob has a heap of female friends and they are all very flirty. But he knows he only has to slip up once!

Kts - I dont think you need to do anything extra special for bubs, just give then what ever your eating. Ash has a piece of toast with me every morning ( smooshes more than he eats) and then hell eat a bowl of porriage. Lunch he has a sandwich or a jar of his fav organic food (LOVES them) then afternoon snack, custard and some biccies or yoghurt and a banana and then what ever i have for dinner or if its not appropriate i have frozen veggies ive cooked and put in the freezer.

Well everythings pretty good here, ash is waving and saying byebye now and its SOO cute! Gymbaroo today YIPPIE!! Weighed him too and hes 12.1kg i thought he would be more than that but hes obviously slowed down.

Last night i had severe pains in one of my boob and its still hurting, i so hope im not getting mastitis feels like ive been punched really hard and its all swollen! Is that the start of it???? I did stop taking the pill yesterday cos im so over being uncontrollably hormonal for a month straight! grrh

Massive house cleaning day today, i am looking forward to it actually, weird i know.

    Have a good day everyone

If its mastitis you'll have red patches on your boob, you'll have cold/flu symptoms etc... check in with your GP. When you have mastitis you know about it, your whole body feels it, its yucky. Could be a blocked duct, so try massaging your breast under a hot shower (without burning yourself of course) but see if you can massage it out. A blocked duct can get worse.

Yeah I agree - nothing special needed these days for their food. Just give them whatever you're having (unless it's too unhealthy! LOL) and remember to avoid the recommended things re allergies etc (strawberries and seafood and stuff) But having said that, I shared my strawberry yoghurt with Kayla a while ago and didn't think twice (until after LOL). I gave her scrambled egg a few weeks ago too, I don't bother separating egg white & egg yolk to test for reactions. But then I'm sure she had had egg anyway, chomping on my chop bone that had been crumbed.. and also in fried rice. *shrug*. I guess I'd be more careful if we had allergies in the family.

Well, we have a property inspection today which I forgot about until yesterday. Thankfully the house isn't in too bad a state LOL.

Kayla is waving hello & goodbye too.. so cute. She opens and closes her hand sometimes as well as shakes her hand about.. but I'm not sure if she's signing for milk or waving! maybe both - I just haven't distinguished them yet LOL. I've also noticed she says 'da' for dummy. So she's starting to try to make sounds which is cute. Still not saying mama when I want her to, only when she's really upset. I'm pretty sure when we look in the mirror she says 'dat' and points.. oh and she points at everything at the moment too LOL.. so I think she's saying 'who's that' coz I say that all the time when we look in the mirror. heh.

I'm hoping she'll start signing soon. She understands a lot of them.. if I sign 'ball' she turns around and looks for the ball.. and milk she understands.

woops - gotta go.. she's awake and she was sleeping on our bed.
